  • That was a very rough job. Was there the entire time. We got the call around 0315 as a working truck. I was on the entry team, once we went into the basement, it was game over. Way to hot to even start to make a push.

  • I was a firefighter there from 3am till the end. It was a rough smoke the whole time from the second we arrived. Tough day for sure.

  • ihad to walk down the street the same day of the fire. shit stinks to this day

  • I can't believe it. I live a few blocks away and I didn't hear a thing!

  • what a sin and a shame!!! does anyone know tom-the owner of new moon???? ive known him for way over 30 years. i heard this is not the first time allure went up in flames!!! true??

kathy-you must have been scared out of your mind!!!!!!

  • OMG.......The smell of fire actually woke me from my sleep at 5 a.m. in a panic. I jumped up, ran around, and realizing it wasn't my house, ran outside. The smell was so strong, yet I realized it wasn't anyone else near me either. I was so shocked to learn the location later in the day, as I am located quite a distance away, by Strong & Sunrise Hwy.! I can't even imagine what those fumes were like up close. You noted "no major injuries", and I think, thank God, and those firefighters....
