dogs need fat! do people really think that dogs in the wild go to the store and get skinless chicken or extra lean ground beef? dont feed like this unless you have nothing better to do. there are way better raw diets that dont require cooking the food. what a spoiled dog and silly owner. way too much veggies too, popular to belief dogs are omnivores? yeah right. the day i see a wolf passing up a carcass to eat some grass will be the day i shit on my self.
thats entirely too much food for one meal! your suppose to only give small dogs !/4 cup-1/2 cup, and a larger dog 3/4-1c.... not being rude, just informative. i make my own dog food as well, and go by the vets. instructions. and even if you look on pkgs. of dog food it says. that looks like 2.5-3 cups of food!
@ljuboslava Ripe tubers aren't considered toxic, but the green parts are. Because potatoes are part of the nightshade family it does contain some toxic alkaloids and solanine which can be bad for a dog if eaten in large ammounts. So as long as they are ripe potatoes and only feed in small ammounts like shown here you shouldn't have any issues.
How long have you been feeding your puppy this way? I have a 7 week old mixed breed puppy (about 4 or 5 breeds mixed in down the generations) and since I got her 2 days ago, I've been cooking her food with dog safe ingredients from my fridge, rather than dry puppy food. My puppy has not had a bowel movement since dinner yesterday and I'm assuming it's due to the food change (they had her on dry food). Any ways you know to unconstipate her?
Just a tip: peel the potato as the skin isn't good for dogs
