  • I own a dvd of this movie - best colorization job I've ever seen.

  • The colorization is absolutely beautiful; it's obvious that the people who effected it (Harryhausen &alii) cared greatly. But the script was incredibly weak. I don't really understand why Harryhausen so loves this film.

  • I like the color in this version. Too bad there's none of Max Steiner's great music in the preview.

  • Okay, now I'm confused. This looks great! But Kino's put up the trailer, yet it begins with a Legend Films logo, and I know Kino has a previous edition out. Are Kino and Legend partnering on the 30+ upcoming Legend releases? If so, I can't see ANY way that wouldn't be win-win-win, for Legend, for Kino, and for film lovers.

  • The quality of this colorization is really good, but there's still something wrong about restoring color to a B&W film without the original artist's consent, IMO.

  • If you purchase Kino's deluxe edition of SHE we actually include 2 version (Colorized & B&W).

  • There is not any stop-action in this. Ray Harryhausen was involved in the restoration and colorization of the film, he also offers commentary.

  • Thanks for that! I'm off to hunt down the DVD now. Computer colouring has really come on - I'd like to see it done with the original Flash Gordon serials.

  • I really like this movie, this is a nice trailer.
