been there ..the locals say the waters and sand were blood red for days. I hosted a dinner at Macarthur Park for the padilla family, Princess mata padilla and wilfred/fred padilla. Fatima Village. Princess told me her father was the one who blew the statues up. She says her father blows up cell phone towers to.

Great job! My fiancee lives in Tacloban City. I've been "home" twice to see her & we are still working on getting her to the USA legally. I LOVE the Phils and we plan to retire there eventually. I've been around the world as a seaman and still say there is NO place like the Philippines! I LOVE IT! The people, culture, food, lifestyle, etc. .....well I've found my paradise! I can't wait to return in March-April, 09! Once again.......very fine job! Salamat!

Beautiful! Its about time for tourism in the whole of region 8 to flourish. Im from Samar and there are many areas that need to be tapped for tourism in these places. The gov't should promote region 8. It is the best place for eco-tourism.
