how is this superior to Atari TOS/GEM, or AmigaOS/Workbench? and these were both introduced in 1985 so not even a year after macintosh ... i still don't get why macOS is considered as revolutionary when many of the OSes of that era had exactly the same features (and looked almost exactly the same! :-D compare TOS/GEM and the original MacOS)
It just hit me: even the way the monitor "fade's up" when the power is turned on has probably been under Job's scrutiny. Doesn't wait too long, doesn't come on too fast.. :)
