It seems a bit one sided that Immigration would arrest the undocumented immigrants and not arrest the people that hire them. It takes two to tango. Perhaps the laws on immigration should be reevaluated and maybe assessed on the local level instead of the federal level. It would be sort of like the abortion issue and instead of making it a federal issue perhaps make it a local or state issue. Just a thought.

Besides the plants these people work at, it is common practice here in south MS for them to work in construction and have the owners call ICE when payday arrives.

Despite the huge number of immigrant labor here since Katrina, the labor savings has not been passed on to the consumer.
