  • i want it...

  • i like it

  • this thing is still awsome i use it all the time..

  • @davedudeit thats what she said

  • does it have a textin app like the iphone??

  • the N900 is same is this but even better plus it's a phone..

  • @ranger1360 Yeah n900 is pretty awesome but this is better to be so old. You see how good and strong it looks too? n900 is like 5800 or something.. just peace of plastic :l and n900 isn't even thinner but it came 3 years later

  • very nice reviwe!

    5*

  • Does this thing have a monthy charge like a cell phone? Or do you just buy it and that's it?

  • you just buy the thing

  • can i install Forex platform in n810? zzzzzzzzzz.............

  • well on nokia 770 internet tablet its bossible and iven easy to use difrend plat forms so why not n810 ai dont promise anything

  • got a odd question. can you use wifi in addition to wimax with the n810 wimax edition?

  • nice vid. i'm right handed, is the directional pad on the left hard to use for a righty?

  • I'm right handed too and find the pad easy to use. I probably use it mostly with the left thumb. Of course, you rarely need it because there is the touch screen.

  • how much

  • I read that this Nokia N810 isn´t a mobile phone. :s Is it correct?I thought it were a mobile phone.Plz :)

  • Yes, the N810 is an internet tablet not a phone. You can connect to internet anywhere if you have a mobile phone nearby (eg. pocket or bag) with Bluetooth. Or if WiFi is available you can connect using that. You can make Skype or other VoIP calls. The new N900 has a cellular phone built in.

  • if u buy the n900 does it have all the operations of the n810 wimax edition. AAnd do u have to use the fone part of it.

  • @Gyamfi4 - Yes you can use the N900 without a SIM card. It has a new version of the operating system and I have not noticed any major missing features compared to N810. If you have downloaded some special software for the N810 it might not work on the N900 until it has been recompiled.

  • @aholatom does it have a textin app...and i was wonderin with the still camera, does it also have video capabilities

  • The N900 comes with a text editor and you can install more. If you mean word processor there is the Word to Go that you can install but after trial expires you need to pay something to continue using it. Not sure if this is a viewer only though. I have not done word processing on the N900 myself. More applications are coming all the time. And yes you can record beautiful video with the N900 camera.

  • I saw that this Nokia N810 can support up to 8GB Mini SD Card. Is it posible to increase the memory upto 16GB or 32GB? If yes HOW?

  • i've heard tons of different things about max storage. i've heard 8gb, 10gb(here) and 32gb. who's right?

  • Not sure, but I'd guess that it's specs state 10gb total because that's the sum of 2GB internal and the maximum MiniSD card supported at the time the N810 was released (8GB). I'd venture to guess that it will support any MiniSD or MicroSD(w/ adapter) up to the current maximum size (32GB).

  • can you calling with this phone ?

  • are u listening at all? it is not a phone :P it is internet tablet :P

  • damn these dropped in price to like 180 $ now there shooting back up to 220 $ all the way up to 499 $ because maemo 5 so if theres anytime to get them its now . damn you n900

  • I simply MUST know if this can go live on Stickam.

That's my major factor in wether or not I am gonna buy it. I don't care about Skype. Can the flash access be used on the webcam?

  • and i forgot to say.... yes it has an entegrated keybord on it... a sliding qwerty keyboard...

  • this is not a phone.. not a GSM device.. but you can make calls by Skype already... this device is an internet tablet.. it has WiFi connection.. GPS and other applications.

  • Is the keyboard backlit?

  • yes

  • is the keys backlit?

  • well is that a phone? or u can call anybody plz someone tell me:D

  • in fucking love, anyone elsE?

  • I wonder what type of phone he has.

  • is a webcam not a camera but u cn download a widget from maemo which lets u take pics

  • and the camera?????

  • My uncle works for Nokia. He gave me one for free he has two N810's and 3 N800's.

Opensource Linux OS is great for developers and for users alike. Battery life is 3-4 hours of straight use. Accessories are limited but the ones available are expanding! Laser bluetooth keyboard and a back up portable charger are great!

  • I just ordered one yesterday, and like $70 worth of extras :P

  • ugh, i want one !

  • how does this compare to the archos media tablets?

  • they are both different the archos is mainly media but the n810 is built around the internet which is y i got the n810

  • Can any one verify to me if you can definetly take pictures and record video with the Nokia N810?

  • Can you take picture and record video with this Device?

  • Well, it has a webcam so I would think so.

  • Yeah yeah yeah the bells and whistle look dazzling. But how's the battery life?

  • the battery life is 7 to 9 hours ofconstant use and about a month when not in use

  • man i got 1 pretty kewl but its a bit chunky n stick outa ya pocket but apart from that its better then any1s i now

  • If you connect it to your phone can u also use sms?

  • Don't like the idea of having to use a nasty little stylus to control and navigate it. Hopefully the next version will be more finger friendly.

  • for all those who dont know what GPS RECEIVER

you do not need the wifi to connect to the to Gps

    satellite

  • Hey,

I am just wondering if you have to have a internet plan to go on the internet any where you want. Or you just have to be connected to a WiFi signal. Do you have be connected to the internet to use the GPS.

  • if you want the internet anywhere you need to tether the n810 to a phone that has a data plan on a cellular network or be connected thru wi-fi or wireless g/n network

  • so your phone has to have an internet plan for people to use the n810

  • hi,nice video! does it have a calendar?or a reminder? can u use the gps with out wifi..?? can u install the destinator maps??

  • lol, when he was showing the mini sd slot he was flipping everyone off >:(

  • actually up to 8g but cool vedio

  • 16g actually

  • Ipod Touch : over 25,000 apps and growing... jailbreak it and get any app for free!! Can't compete with that ;)

  • STFU

  • queerfuck

  • you have no argument ;) i win

  • nice copy pasting your gay quote on every video.. this has keyboard, this has games and apps, if you had researched, switchable battery, flash drives, bigger screen, sensitive touch screen...

  • and yet it still doesn't even match up to the app store and features of the ipod touch...lol

  • can you call with this device i mean like a phone?

  • I am interested in getting one, Will this have any trouble working with my Desktop with Vista? One of the Web Sites I go to has to Download an Active X, Will this have any trouble with that page? I have a Blackberry Curve, Can I connect them together and surf the internet using cell towers? I greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide.

    Thanks

    Mike

  • Hello when you say its not a phone you mean we cant use it like a phone !! Like i cant use it like a cell phone as well ?!! And how much does it cost . THank you

  • ok, just for clarification... if your phone has bluetooth and you connect it to the n810 you can make calls with the n810, meaning you can dial the number, press call and talk all through this device...right??? can someone help me out?

  • I don't know about that, but if you sign up for skype or a similar sight you can use it as an internet phone :) look into it

  • Yes you can, but you will need to use skype, to make the calls

  • hey, do u know how to use Fring like that guy was talkin bout?

    is it free?

  • U mean Android?? If it is, you can download it for free, search it on google.

  • well no, but thanks, i also wanted to know bout that lol.

    =)

  • I had N800 ! It is amazing device!

  • Does it have msn or windows live messenger on it or can it be uploaded as an app

  • yep

  • i want one!

  • how do you link your data plan on your phone to the n810 for using the internet?

  • is it hard to find wifi on it?

  • At the start you tell us it isn't a phone, then at the end it starts getting referred to as a phone.

People are confused enough as it is about this being or not being a phone, don't fuck with their heads even more!

  • OK, people, this is not a phone, it's a internet tablet, is made to surf the internet, but with the features that this N810 have, you can use it as a phone (with Wi-Fi or bluetooth) meaning that you can make calls from Skype, with you internet at home, or you can connect the Nokia with your phone, and use your phone provider to make calls from the Nokia, I know is kinda confusing, new technologies always are!

  • werd!

  • dam!!!!!!!! i should be buy but isn´t a phone is a internet table but now i don´t want to purchase thanks for the information

  • does it have a decent calendar so you can keep track of a busy schedule?

  • There are calendar applications, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing this device strictly for that reason.

  • lol a calendar.. rofl..

  • i just wish it had a sim card slot

  • hahaha and y do ppl have an iphone still idk im going with this VIVA LA NOKIA

  • WTF man your guest...who the fuck is dane?? lol HE MADE A BETTER REVIEW THAN YOU

  • ye but prolly more than enough ;D i think thats the point he was trying to make :D

  • i am going to get one

  • He says its not a phone in the beginning then at the end says "this is a great phone."

  • is the thing on the left like a joystick so i can put a dreamcast ps2 or x box emulator in it than play this thing is really cool

  • this is so cool i mean i thought that my psp was going to to be equiped with flash but this is awesome

  • Nice competitor for the MyLo2

  • I was thinkin alot about getting a mylo 2 for a while or an ipod touch, but then i started putting this nokia n810 into the foray, and now this seems to be like a big competitor. more useful than the itouch, and slimmer than the mylo 2. but without the mylo 2 cam, or the smart touchpad of the itouch, but the nokia n810 has ALOT of room for improvement because of it's open source capability! I think i'm getting it

  • did u get it?

  • i suggest u do. u wont be dissapointed!!

  • This came out before the Mylo 2.

  • congrats

  • With sony PSP this could replace PC :)

  • the PSP is incredibly limited XD

  • this guys alright...

  • agreed...a reviewer who does a good job.

  • i want 1...just because you told me i do :P

  • That other guy that also reviews those things.

  • good job albert! your getting better and better at each video you are doing. i only watch for the gaming videos though graphics/sound card/ ram other stuff..

  • wow ,u really make it sound awesome !

  • agreed

  • is android a game?

  • He said it was an open source OS (Operating System). Hope that helped.

  • yea my friend had xp on his i think, maybe vista not sure

  • i likee albert :)

  • how much is this?

  • You mentioned it's not a phone but yet you call it a phone twice at the end. lol

  • what? me? lol i got your message LOL i'm asking how much it isLOl

  • i find it funny that they didn't make him shave...

i must admit that he is way better than all the others.

but i will be really mad if they make him shave...

  • :3 Albert is cool too.

  • Pretty cool... I think I'm starting to like Albert.

  • OMG ITS GORDON FREEMAN !!

  • haha

  • HOOOOOOLLYYYYYYY

    CRAPPPPPPPPPPPP

  • good job man......you're doing a pretty good job

  • this device is pointless

  • I wouldn't say that; its kind of like a ultramobile laptop that fits in your pocket and is good for internet surfing and other day to day apps (and it fits into your pocket = ) lol )

  • then y not just get a laptop or maybe a pda phone ? i mean i'm nt trying to insult this device just that i don't see the point of buying one

  • It is'nt nearly as versatile as ultramobiles, but it's much more portable & covers the basics. The N8x0 tablets do have some able but still limited office capabilities such as spreadsheet, word processing, & document/pdf viewer. Also, there's always Google Docs. There's also some sophisticated image & audio file management. However, besides video conferencing, the screen/keyboard, ssh, & USB host capabilities, pda phones r more versatile, compact, better priced, & more suited 4 average users.

  • the other guy did that too

  • bullshit that is definitely not better than the iphone web browsing

  • Navigation isn't as smooth & fun, but websites are displayed better. At %100 zoom, font is legible w/o additional zooming & most pages don't require horizontal scrolling. Plus there's Flash support, so sites that use Flash will work though not always properly (like Myspacetv, Veoh, & Cnettv).

  • Looks realy sleek!

    :)

    This guy is awesome now.

  • This is not even a phone so how could it be a copy of the iPhone? Think before you comment.

  • lol

  • Go Albert!!!

    I like this guy...

    he's pretty good
