A few months back VH1 redid their 100 greatest artists.ok Fats domino didn't even make the list!!!! How can they snubb one of the forefathers of rock n roll?? If not for artists like Fats Domino & Little Richard there wouldn't be rock n roll or anyother form of pop music. This was the start of all those things. I'm not saying Fats is the #1 but to not even make their top 100 is a BIG slap in the face!!
@Superpepsiman20 I wouldn't worry - there's a lot of artists out there & getting it down to 100 is sure to upset someone! I just read an angry article ranting about the fact that R Kelly wasn't on it! Besides, TV channels always focus more on video hits which is really after Fats' time!
If you saw it live, it was at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, August 22nd 1985. In any case, you have a great memory to remember the concert at that age! I saw it on T.V. at my brother Gary and his wife Barb's apartment in early 86' after Ricky Nelson's untimely death! Alas, both of them are gone now, rest their souls! Great memories, great concert!!
@Tboneator64 Fats has not left us yet. He is still alive and kickin down in New Orleans. He doesnt perform live anymore, last concert was 2007 in NOLA.
Loved it. Very good. I look for Fats Domino all the time and this was the first time yours came up. Think the songs are: Hello Josephine, I'm Gonna a Wheel Someday, Blueberry Hill and Whole Lotta Lovin. Might put those in the tags and your video will get more views. Just a thought. Thanks for posting.

I remember watching this concert live (I believe) in 1986. I was 4 years old. I've been hooked every since. You can't listen to Fats without smiling.
