And if your even remotely inclined to fix things you can easily through in a 2x4 or something as added reinforcement which I was thinking I would have to do within a year of having this set, but I haven't. It's not that cheap, just treat it nice and it will make itself worth the pain and agony you went through trying to decide whether or not it's worth it.
The gaps in between the cushions can be irritating at times but once again....ONLY $1000 FOR THE WHOLE SET. Just as Mattisebastian said in his comment, unless you wanna spend an arm, a leg, and your first born child on a really nice last forever modular couch set, this is your best bet.
Like I said in the video, the couch cushions cover it rendering them good as new. One thing you need to make sure of is that nobody jumps, falls, or sits hard (for the heavier folk) on any of these couch pieces. I could definitely see many things breaking or going wrong if treated poorly such as springs popping out.
In fact we paid $950 for this set and last I checked the price hasn't changed. Say what you want, you cant beat the price for this large of a modular set. Also the holes and cracks in the backboard have not affected anything, let alone been noticed since we set everything up.

As long as you make sure nobody jumps on it you should be able to keep it in nice shape. On top of all that we have people sleep on it all the time. I still say for the money its close to impossible to find that large of a couch that is both a sectional and modular for around $1000.
what can u expect you bought cheap furniture. this set probably cost around $1400 and it was probably made in china just like most of the furniture in US. if u want better quality make sure is made in US which will cost around $4000 or more. u cant complain if u dont want to spend money or dont buy at all! I deliver furniture and all these cheap ass customers cry for any stupid defect they see on these shitty furniture. again learn how to select furniture,when u %100 assured of quality get it!

How do you like your bobkona now that you've had it for some time? My husband and I have one and we've only had it for a year and it looks like we've had it for 10!! Every time we have guests over, without a doubt at least one of them gets sucked into the crevices between the pillows or raped by one of the springs!!
Thanks for the Poundex review. I'm considering buying a leather sectional this summer. I've heard other testimonies of the cheap build quality, but then again, I'm unemployed and possibly moving next year so it seems like the best option.

We bought in April 2010, November 2010 the frame is already COMPLETELY broken!! We were about 1 week out of warranty and neither the retailer or Poundex would help us. Stay as far away from Poundex furniture as you can!!! You will just be buying new stuff in less than a year anyway, spend a little more the 1st time and get reliable furniture!!!

Very discouraging when you put those pieces together to find that the people could have put in a little more effort. You obviously put in way more then they did and they are professionals that work in a controlled factory setting! Not one, BUT several pieces that are damaged , were the hell is the Q.C. guy! In this recession you would think people would put a little more effort to save there jobs , NOT! Being a little older than you I have zero tolerance for this B.S. !
