All the faux went out in the nineties. No modern designs contain this type of work unless you purposely want a nineties look.

All you have to do is buy premixed drywall mud, take some out - add 1-2 cups of water [depending on how big the container is, I used a 5 gallon pail] add a $2. tube of colour tint and mix until it is like porridge- then scrape on your wall! If you want you can give 2-3 coats [let dry btwn coats] - then rub in [with a damp cloth] a darker colour. Maybe 1-2 shades darker or even metallic. Then burnish [rub/scrape lightly] with scraper. Saved hundreds on crappy "designer" paints or plasters!
