could someone explain to me how this search and destroy thing work in vietnam becuase i dont know much about this war and when i heard about s&d, i try to read about in wiki but not much detial about it? appreciate it if anybody could tell me:)

@hmaster1231 Order the book "dispatches" by michael Herr on amazon or otherwise, and you'll get a lot of info from this piece of history. Even Coppola took scenes out of this book for Apocalypse now....

my grandpa was in the 1st infantry devision he served right on the border between north and south vietnam no VC could take him
