I really don't get why everyone freaks out about these girls. Most of them are 15, and a lot of extremely popular idols debuted at just a year or two older than that, with less vocal power, control, and talent than these girls.

The point is, they have talent. That's what matters. That's what makes you an artist, not being so many years old. The GPB girls could sing circles around many of their seniors today.

As a dance instructor myself, here is my opinion.

Yes, they're a talented bunch of kids, about the same as as me or a little younger, but since they're fame has bloomed so early, when they reach their 20s or 30s they wont be as known anymore.

What i see is a group of talented girls that have the dream to become a singer, and they are an inspiration for some little girls that think that too become a singer, you have to be hot and old. They are yong and are enjoing life in they'r way, they decided to sacrifice some aspects of a normal teen, but i think that they made a good choise.

The major issue when you are watching kids this young perform songs like this is not a discomfort because they are young, but because there is NO WAY THAT THESE KIDS ARE SINGING ABOUT REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO YOUNG TO HAVE EXPERIENCED WHAT THEY ARE SINGING ABOUT. It's hard to find artists these days who actually write the lyrics to their own songs. Only those who do can be described as singing about "real life experiences" they've been through. Most pop songs, such as "Jelly Pop," are pretty shallow anyway and are just upbeat tunes to dance to; nothing more. Just voicing my opinion; I don't expect you to change yours :)
