I own a 1992 Ford Taurus thats falling apart, I give my "left nut" without anesthetic to own a Buick :acrosse, with or without the loose trim, hard to close door, and Ill adjust the 8 way power seat to see outside.
I personally like negative reviews, when you're seriously looking for a car, the only reviews out there are positive ones. This gives the car a whole new perspective, even if it was nit picky
This guy is a real AH He hates American cars and drools over anything from Japan or Germany. Give us a break " the buttons are too small". Your a jerk!
Hmm.......? Maybe it's just that the Lacrosse is not up to par in some areas. After driving the Lacrosse intensely, I agree with the testers sentiment in regards to the cramped interior space up front. Furthermore, this same reviewer gave the new Chrysler 300 a glowing report so I doubt he has a complete bias against all American automobiles.
they are not bias. they just look at the facts and recommend good cars. i've owned both domestic and foreign cars. my foreign cars all achieved more than 250,000 miles before it was time for them to go. my domestics never made it past 170,000, that is just the facts, period. now the new domestics, like the buick seem good and i'll give them another chance. but don't hate on quality, it is just not justified.
Consumer reports is so bias!Look at the toyota avalon review, you could just look at the description and see that they're toyota worshipers,i have never beleived anything they say...I have driven gm alot of my life and all my cars have over 130000 miles and run great!!
I don't know about people saying this is a beautiful car. I drove my friend's LaCrosse and what a shitty car I must tell you when driving. really bad visibility, lots of noise no legroom at all, horrible steering. I don't know if being beautiful will get me ever buy one of this. I drive new toyota avalon, no comments indeed. this car felt like worse than even my old Altima. a lot of people complain about CR complaining about american cars. i find them just being fair and doing their job.
Never on any of these reviews is a car ever good enough for the driver. I'm not a GM fan, but the Buick LaCross is a beautiful car. The same guy also bitched about the styling of the Lincoln MKZ, which also is a beautiful car. The same reviewers talking about cars being too "predictable". If you want an unpredictable car, buy a fucking toyota.
More CU whining. The console next the right knee has been standard on German cars for decades. It is there for a knee brace while cornering at high speed so you remain in control. Of course, when you think 55mph is fast, what would they know about performance driving?
Government rollover standards have mandated the heavier pillars and posts. CU thinking is disconnected. Stronger roofs or thin posts like the old days? Make a choice.
The 4 cyl engine...why no mention of the fuel economy?
opel didn't design this car at all. Opel didn't lay a finger on it. Opel design the Opel Insignia which is now the new Buick Regal coming out next year. This car was design in the U.S. and China and it's performance was tuned in germany.
Buick designed all of this. If you knew about Buick's past, you'd know a lot of the new elements on it, are modern versions of their old 50's elements. Like the sweep spear.
my sister had a rental lacrosse one time....the way they designed the doors...i found it VERY hard to get in and out...just horrible...that alone prompted me to never buy that car
"This is a pretty big car"?
Someone's never driven a Roadmaster Estate Wagon...

I love this car. Have test-driven it. Only thing I can agree with is rear visibility. This reviewer is biased.

Love the car, dislike the reviewer, so the video gets disliked because he is ignorant and biased
