I want to try this stuff out because I love Bushcraft but damn I don't want to hurt or kill any animals, x.x I'd feel horrible, but I guess I'd feel even more horrible if I was dying. Its just that for training (which if I wait for a "real" situation without training I will probably not be able to succeed) I'd feel bad. Damn my emotions!
@yonatantt bait is usually the sacrifice of a small food item you have brought with you, chocolate, cheese, fig newtons. wild nuts or berrys work good too though, if you can find them.
guys check out my channal, just started theres a few knife reviews bit of k9 training r700 bb gun review , ive just started here on youtube please leave some tips
This video is probably the best I've seen on how to set a snare, yet I'm still confused. I wish someone would do a video that gives a real close up shot and perhaps in slow motion to see how this mechanism works.
@eatmorenachos Hate to say it, but if you still cant figure this snare system out after this video, you have prolems. Not trying to be mean, just sayen. Watch the video again, pause and take notes as he goes over it step by step. Better yet, gather the materials he has in the vid and put them together as he goes along. this should help you visuelize what he is saying.
hey dave....idk weather bear grylls(man vs wild) is still making hes series, but mabye one day u could make a show with him, you,Cody and Bear....preety cool tho, just imagine 3 survival experts coming together....
@edmundyeo12 lol this grylls guy is not an actual survivalexpert or bushcraft-man bro, he is more like an adventurer and the show he hosts at discovery is more like a how to increase your chances of dieing most effectively. Dont get me wrong I think its pretty entertaining but it has nothing to do with survival or self reliance. Dave and Codies show is most likely a bit setup as well but its more authentic and theyre both superior skilled experts of survival/bushcrafting off the show
Welcome back Dave. Glad to see your back to making these great videos. I feel a couple of close ups of this trigger system would have been even more helpful though. Sure have learned a lot from you and your team. Many thanks!
ive been following you since u had just a few vids, glad u r back. im in nyc and spend more time in the woods (parks) and given much thought and practice to urban self reliance. thanks again from your city dweller, james.
Hey brother! Glad to see a new vid from you! Love Dual, but it's great to see you here too! This is the best snare trigger video I have seen. Great job!
We have lots of jack rabbits here in El Paso. I can just see one of those huge rabbits getting snared by this set...great advise and techniques...thanks Dave!!!
@wildernessoutfitters WOW! I didnt relize so many negative comments were thrown my way on this comment... What I should have said was "tired", Dave I have much respect for you and the pathfinder school I just thought when you maid this video you seemed really Tired- and I bet you probably were with all the things you have going on.... Where Im from- Louisiana when someone is worn down do to being over worked they become "soft" or "tired.... I do apologise for any misunderstandings. peace bro
Yeah man, exactly! I mean, compared to all your amazing survival videos and your show on Discovery and everything... Oh, wait! LOL, I forgot, you don't have a show on Discovery OR any amazing survival videos. Why don't you go hang out in the middle of a desert for a while, video it, and show us how you do, dumbass.
@shokaboom I don't understand why you said this? Dave has taught all of us so much and i hold much respect for him. I can only hope that this "soft" guy keeps on teaching us! And I would say i would much rather be with him when the shtf !
