@wyatt8s haha yeah maybe if you (or me) train hard we'll be famous sometimes too^^ but i don't know if i ever do just MMA. I just like Muay Thai better.
there is some bounce but even still there no bench shirt,no wrist strapes or belt and to handle that weight even with a bounce does take some real power.good effort regardless
@NWpowerhouse85. you really think they would laugh at him?? hahaha maybe if he did that with like 350lb or even 400lb but anyone that can lift 600lb raw bounce or no bounce would never be laughed at and you know it. even with super strict form and a pause i bet he could easily get 500lb+
Well, it's inevitable that someone on here (eventually) could do more than half that, but the guys commenting on his style probably couldn't. Depending on bodtweight, 300lbs is a respectable drug free bench press.
He was a better fighter than anyone commenting on YouTube. He was a just a brawler who tried his luck, and got somewhere with the UFC in the early days, these days he wouldn't stand a chance.
He's a crap fighter now, sure, but remember he's well past his prime.
Great strength in this video though, not many legit 600lb benchers around.
He's incredibly strong in this video, I don't want to take anything away from him, however, if he ever entered a bench competition with that form, he'd be laughed out of the venue.
@cassius969 Not so, in competitions, they have to briefly pause at the bottom(in some lifting organizations, it's not so brief...). They can only move the weight upward when the judge says so. He not only doesn't stop, he bounces it.
His ass also lifted off the bench, that alone is an automatic DQ in ANY competition.
Let me reiterate that he's as strong as an ox...he has gym rat form here though, not powerlifter form, that's all I was saying.
@cassius969 To be perfectly honest though, if I was to press my beliefs, I don't believe the weight is real. If Tank could truly bench 600lbs, even like this, then he is, without question, the smallest(disregarding his bodyfat) 600lb bencher I've ever witnessed. And yes, smaller people can be stronger, but that's a ridiculous amount of weight, and he was a fighter, not a lifter. Brock Lesnar dwarfs him, and is certainly stronger, yet there's a vid somewhere of him heavy-repping 345 on flat...
I like to feel sexy....knowing someone is watching me ..wanting me...turns me on!BADLY! I like to flirt and pose..and sometimes i like to get WILD! how? ..he he..come in video and youll see:-)) maybe u can teach me something..or maybe i will ! come visit me at _ MeetYourFling (.COM) _ my user-id there is evy-dwdf chat soon on cam :-) pkgxxoirwkw
He doesn't have any formal fighting training, but a glancing blow from that kinda power is enough to break most peoples face. He's always relied on that...
dude. anyone who benchepresses 600lbs would belt the crap out of a random on the street. that was a well thought-out statement;) thumbs up for the effort though.
The bar could barely handle it

150 moved two inches, hardly a curl... meh.

He's monster strong and I'd guess without a lot of training. Simply freak strong.

Wow...I'm 6' and weigh 250lbs and the most I've ever done is 4 reps at 315lbs. That's impressive.
7superduper 8 months ago
he did this so easy he could probaly pause and lift at comp and if he uses bench shirt no doubt he gets this stop hatin on shit you can't do
xjcms 9 months ago
It's even more impressive considering how much drinking he did and probably never roided either.

The average man can't bench press even 200 with a bigger bounce than this, including me.

@passstrenghtfair
Yea right . You mean an average woman can't bench 200
reksroad 1 year ago
@reksroad According to studies, the average max. 1 one rep bench for 20-24 year old american men is about 160 pounds.
passstrenghtfair 1 year ago
@passstrenghtfair Really? I'm 18 and can bench 165, 8 times. Glad to know I'm above average. I've been training for almost a year.

@NWpowerhouse85 weight has to go down and come back up. At his bodyweight he probably couldnt compete on the top ranks with a 600 lbs bench
