  • Giving me inspiration to to restore my 1988 Trooper II. After the engine rebuild and auto to manual swap. I really like the color, and I'm not really big on purple. What did you use for rust repair? I'm used to MIG welding holes and grinding them down.

  • hey the rebuild it was amazing pretty good job you do, here in my country the trooper is called caribe, my truck is sold to now i have a toyota land cruiser fzj 70, that ill start to rebuild minor things, ill post later the videos of that project, well man awsome job really good.

  • wow thats pretty sweet for 2 weeks I have a 87' Trooper II LS they are sweet I switched mine to a blazer chassis installed a 350 lifted it and put 40" tires on it I'll have to get some vids of it bogging up soon

  • Nice. I have an 87' TrooperII. I installed an after market clutch plate because the clutch would slip under heavy load. It still slips but not as bad. Any reccomendations on clutching?

  • lol, that was a lot of work. It was fun, dont get me wrong, but still alot of work. in a few weeks i'm gonna do another 89 but this time an LS with power windows, locks and auto, really nice one, but will get a complete too. keep checking back...

  • Yes i did see it before that was quite a change!! My Trooper was also an LS and i also had a 99 LS Rodeo. I wrecked my rodeo though back in Sept. and replaced it with an Audi.
