Giving me inspiration to to restore my 1988 Trooper II. After the engine rebuild and auto to manual swap. I really like the color, and I'm not really big on purple. What did you use for rust repair? I'm used to MIG welding holes and grinding them down.
hey the rebuild it was amazing pretty good job you do, here in my country the trooper is called caribe, my truck is sold to now i have a toyota land cruiser fzj 70, that ill start to rebuild minor things, ill post later the videos of that project, well man awsome job really good.
I remember seeing your carbie, and loved what you did! I really enjoy taking what others think in trash and making it into something beautiful. what is the music in your old carbie video?
wow thats pretty sweet for 2 weeks I have a 87' Trooper II LS they are sweet I switched mine to a blazer chassis installed a 350 lifted it and put 40" tires on it I'll have to get some vids of it bogging up soon
Nice. I have an 87' TrooperII. I installed an after market clutch plate because the clutch would slip under heavy load. It still slips but not as bad. Any reccomendations on clutching?
lol, that was a lot of work. It was fun, dont get me wrong, but still alot of work. in a few weeks i'm gonna do another 89 but this time an LS with power windows, locks and auto, really nice one, but will get a complete too. keep checking back...
Did you part out the rodeo, or is it gone, im looking for a drivers master window switch, my rodeo was a roll over I rebuilt, unfortunately i never videoed it...
Yes i did see it before that was quite a change!! My Trooper was also an LS and i also had a 99 LS Rodeo. I wrecked my rodeo though back in Sept. and replaced it with an Audi.
