  • Foreman was a taller, longer, slower version of Tyson. Both had thunderous punching power. Another fighter similar to Tyson was Sonny Liston....powerful, intimidating, skilled. Problem is, nobody, and I mean NOBODY could intimidate Ali. Ali was as quick, if not quicker than Tyson with his lightning fast jabs and could take a punch as well as any heavyweight ever could. Ali would have talked trash to Mike before, during, and after the fight and beaten him down.

    Ali wins.

  • ALI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would also like to add that Listons measurements indicate he did have more muscle than Tyson. Sonny's Biceps for the First Ali fight were 17 1/2 inches. Tyson's at the M Spinks fight were 16 inches. Listons chest 44 Tyson's 43. Liston's waist 33 Tyson's 34. I could go on but you get my point. Liston was a beast and he took the fight to Ali pretty good in the first fight before he quit. The guy D'Amato cloned to get Tyson , Floyd Patterson ducked Liston for years. Watch some Patterson fights.

  • have to remember that most Tyson worshippers were raised in front of a TV and are more susceptable to believing anything the media tells them. Ali was the real deal ad Tyson was hype. Bottom line. When he fought Douglas .Holyfield was the #1 contender. They knew they would lose so they signed to fight Buster instead.

  • Gerry Quarry would have exposed Tyson. Chuvalo would have worn Tyson down and beat him. George Foreman would have knocked him RTFO. No one in their right mind should even consider Tyson beating Ali. Fact is Tyson never beat ANYONE near the caliber of Ali's best opponents. Let alone knock them out. Tyson was 40 percent skill and 60 percent hype.

  • float like a butterfly sting like a bee

  • aliiiiiiiiii is a smarter and faster fighter and has cardio to match all i got say to you tyson fans is BUSTER DOUGLAS hahaha

  • @ragenalreece all i got to say is ali got beat by two people in his prime both of which are chumps compared to tyson whats up?

  • @bill23138 Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick is who ali lost to ya some wernt that good at also some where the greats so yaa wow i guess u got me there but who has ali beat ali boxed when boxing was at its highest and there were legends everywhere and ali was at the top ha thats the problem with u tyson fans yall dont know shit bout boxing go watch ufc or wwe or some shit

  • @ragenalreece ha o ya whats sup?

  • @ragenalreece dude joe frazier beat him tyson is better than joe in everyway i guarentee u joe wouldnt last much longer than his son did against tyson. dude loook at the fighters back then shit i have a better body than ali dude and im 19 years old tyson would of cleaned up the heavyweight division in alis era

  • @bill23138 having a good body make u a fighter ha wow never heard that 1

  • @bill23138 A lot of people do. It's about muscle conditioning. Even Ali looked a little flabby, (not in his prime in the 60's) his muscles were highly developed. Norton said that punching Ali's body was like hitting a piece of concrete. And Tyson was scared to fight even the old Foreman in his comeback. Tyson's trainer said that no swarmer beats Foreman. Tyson was a swarmer. And, Tyson had a lung problem and said that late rounds were hard. Ali could dance full 15 rds.

  • @carmodifire yea tyson said that but have u ever seen tyson gassed? no not even after 12 rounds hes never tired

  • @bill23138 Not gassed, but definatly tired. And compared to Ali he wouldn't be able to keep up. Ali would notice that Tyson wouldn't be able to keep up the pace and then Ali would finish him. Ali had the better chin, speed, stamina, heart, footwork. Tyson just has more power.

  • @carmodifire dude what fight have u watched tyson never looked tired in any fight when rooney was his trainer.

  • @bill23138 Actually, some opponents took advantage of it and Tyson failed to finish them because of it, like Tillis and Smith. Now, if Tyson fought all rounds like the first rounds he did, then it would be different. Ali could dance 15 in 64-'67, Tyson couldn't take a punch like Ali did. Ali was bigger, stronger (not punch, but strength) faster, better stamina, etc. Ali was beating Frazier until he got tired because of the layoff. Prime Ali wouldn't get tired, and keep it up

  • @carmodifire you my friend are retarded tyson had a great chin lennox lewis couldnt even knock him out. And to say ali was stronger you must be blind.

  • @bill23138 What are you talking about? YOU must be blind, Lennox KO'd Tyson in rd.8

And Douglas KO's Tyson as well. So what if Tyson wasn't in his prime, Ali was 32 when he KO's a prime Foreman, not even Holifield did that to a OLD Foreman. Ali was stronger physically as he always controlled opponents in clinches, no one could push him around. Tyson was KO'd multiple times, Ali was never KO'd. Ali faced harder hitters than Tyson punches.

  • @carmodifire bro tyson gave up against lewis. buster was the only one to truly ko him and tyson took a brutal ass whoopin in that fight ali would of gotten koed too if he had trained like tyson i guarentee it

  • @bill23138 No way. Ali would not get KO'd. Consider that an old Foreman hit harder than Tyson (Holifield said so) and Shavers hit harder than Foreman. Ali beat Shavers when he was Tyson's age against Lewis and STILL WON. Ali didn't train very much in the 70's, he relied on his cast iron chin. If the hardest hitter ever failed to even drop and old Ali, no way Douglas KO's Ali. Ali would beat Tyson like Douglas, except better: jab to keep distance, and footwork in case Tyson rushes in to stay away

  • @carmodifire dude tyson had as good as a chin as ali i said if ali trained like tyson dide meaning for like a week and a half he would get koed any boxing fan knows that ali cant fight if he dosent train

  • @bill23138 Actually, Ali was known for lack of training during the 70's. He only trained hard for big fights. And Tyson went down to Lewis at 36. Shavers, a harder puncher, was defeated by a 36 year old Ali. OK, Tyson didn't get up. Ali didn't even go down. And Ali had already went through the grueling heat of Manilla and Foreman too. Ali had the better chin

  • @carmodifire tyson had the better chin dude if ali took the punishment tyson took in the buster fight ali would of been out earlier

  • @bill23138 No he wouldn't. Ali didn't train hard for Manilla, took a FAR worse beating than Tyson did against Douglas, in 103 degree heat. (The reason Ali didn't train much for Frazier is because he thought Frazier was washed up) And Tyson was KO'd. If you want to compare chins, see what Tyson SURVIVED, not KO'd. Tyson did have a great chin like Foreman, but both got KO'd because of STAMINA, not chin. Ali proved that he took more punishment.

    Do you box?

  • @carmodifire so ali trained more than 2 weeks for manilla u dicksucker

  • @bill23138 Ali also beat Patterson, who was faster and had the same style as Tyson. And, Rooney, Atlas, and Patterson said that Ali would defeat Tyson. tyson only had more power, THAT"S IT

  • @carmodifire dude a prime tyson was unbeatable nobody could beat him he had the best defense the quick hands the sharpest punches ever he had it all

  • @bill23138 Tyson did have great defense, but he was susceptible to the uppercut. Also, he failed to KO taller opponents who could jab off the back foot. Ali's defense was the greatest of any HW (except maybe Johnson) Ali even dodged 5 punches without raising his hands, pure reflexes. If Ali jabbed and kept his distance using footwork, Tyson would not hit Ali much. Even if he got Ali once in a while, Ali could take it. Tyson would tire, he didn't KO anyone late.

  • @carmodifire Then, Ali could become more aggressive. If it went to the scorecards, Ali would win as he was too good a boxer to be outpointed. Or Ali could KO Tyson, as Ali was good against hard hitters, because they tired and Ali could last.

  • @carmodifire dude tyson never got tired and if he put ali in the corner ali aint goin nowhere

  • @bill23138 If Tyson didn't tire, why does he have no late-round KO's? And Ali could slip away from the ropes and corners easily. Ali would be no where near the corner. And like I said before, if an old Ali can take Foreman and Shaver punches, Tyson punching Ali isn't going too be enough. Ali could tie Tyson up in clinches.

  • @carmodifire tyson hit in combinations and just because he didnt have many late kos dosent mean he never got tired dumbass and he koed ribalta and ruddock late

  • @bill23138 even if Tyson punched in combos he wouldn't be close to Ali to use them. And Patterson, who's combos were faster than Tyson's, failed to combo punch Ali. The Ruddock bout was stopped early, and even if it wasn't, it was a midrounds KO, not a late one. Ribalta OK, but he wasn't a good fighter. He had to get a guy out early, or else there would be no KO, especially against a boxer the caliber of Ali.

  • @carmodifire dude nobody came close to tyson nobody not even a majority decision ko or unanimous everytime becasue he is the best ever

  • @bill23138 Nobody could outbox Ali because he had reach, speed, footwork, everything needed to outbox. Tyson had the tools to KO. He wouldn't be able to KO Ali, like I explained. Therefore, Ali wins.

  • @carmodifire tyson wouldnt box ali he would onstantly come forward and put pressure on him and hit him so he would win the points because hes the aggressor

  • @bill23138 How many times has Mayweather won by being the aggressor? VERY few, he outboxes

  • @carmodifire ali couldnt keep tyson off of him so tyson would win the decision if it came to it

  • @bill23138 That's what I'm saying: Ali's strategy would be to keep Tyson away using jab+footwork. That's what Douglas did. OK, Tyson didn't train and all, BUT Ali was a very fast and accurate puncher, as well as having great footwork. He was the fastest HW and had the best footwork of any HW.

  • @carmodifire and im saying ali couldnt keep tyson away so tyson would win

  • @bill23138 Ali would keep him away because he'd jab. OK, Tyson slips it and lunges in. Except, Ali takes steps back so the distance is still the same. If Tyson does get in, Ali would clinch.

  • @carmodifire but when tyson was in his prime he would punish ali in the clinch with body shots and uppercuts

  • @bill23138 True. Ali would get a lot of damage in clinches, but minimized by him being able to control Tyson in clinches. Ali controlled everyone he ever fought in clinches, and tired them out there. Tyson would tire. Also, Ali took a lot of body shots from Foreman, but was able to win.

  • @carmodifire Dude tyson was 5 foot 10 215 pounds of muscle i dont think ali would be able to control him in the clinches. Tyson was just a dense ball of muscle

  • @bill23138 Ali was very strong, even bigger and heavier opponents were controlled by him. I guess it's genetic. He could pull guy's heads down easily. Illegal, but it takes strength to do it. Ali weighed about the same as Tyson, but was pretty big.

  • @carmodifire dude i got a better body than ali he was not stronger than tyson

  • @bill23138 I already answered about that. It's muscle condition, not lack of fat. Ali in the 60's had no fat, however. But, the reason why people like you might have low ft is because of exercises that burn fat, NOT make the body fit to fight. If you haven't boxer/fought before, I guarantee that if you go a boxing gym and spar, you'll gas before 6 hard rounds. How else did Ali have so much stamina, despite not having a great body in the 70's?

  • @carmodifire like i sadi tyson was definetly stronger

  • @bill23138 No. Holifield and others stood up to Tyson's bullying, but no one ever did manhandle Ali.

  • @carmodifire wtf are u talking about stood up to his bullying. Tyson was stronger than ali deal with it dude anyone who looks at ali and then tyson could tell you that

  • @bill23138 I looked at both. I say Ali is stronger. Ali beat Liston, the Tyson of his day (who would KO Tyson as well). Liston was short and had had more muscle than Tyson. Ali tied him up easy. Like he did with Foreman, Frazier, etc. You know, there are people who are strong and don't have that much muscle. Besides, even IF Tyson was stronger, I already mentioned that Ali had so much more attributes than Tyson, and would win. And Holifield stood up to Tyson.

  • @carmodifire u must be blind liston did not have more muscle than tyson

  • @bill23138 It was quite close. And Ali hadn't even fully matured, but tied him up anyway. Tyson wasn't really that great. He beat bums and got KO'd by one too.

  • @carmodifire yea right dude tyson would of killed alis best opponents easily

  • @bill23138 Umm, Tyson ducked an OLD Foreman. Tyson's trainer Cus said than no swarmer beats Foreman. Tyson was a swarmer.

  • @carmodifire dude tyson never ducked foreman tyson was fighting to unify the belts not fight some dude who was beltless

  • @bill23138 No, Foreman did gain the belt by KO'ing Moorer. There was a demand for the match, because Don King tried to make Tyson fight him, but Tyson said no, you fight him

  • @carmodifire maybe your talking about after hoyhead beat mike and if u are he was done fighting seriously after those fights u dumb bitch

  • @bill23138 Oh, Tyson didn't train. Oh, he didn't try. He quit against Lewis. Sounds like Tyson wasn't great. Ali fought through a broken jaw, came back from a 4 yr. layoff to KO an ATG. Tyson was Ko'd by a bum. End of story.Plus, tyson said Ali was the greatest of all time.

  • @carmodifire and ali said tyson would knock him out u fucking retard.

  • @bill23138 He was being polite because they were friends. Before that, Ali said how he'd beat Tyson: jab and footwork to keep him at bay until Tyson gets tired and then KO Tyson. Ali was bigger. And stronger. And faster. And had a better chin, didn't quit like Tyson did, and didn't get frustrated and bite people. And he actually beat champs, not bums.

  • @carmodifire ali wasnt stronger

  • @bill23138 I just proved to you he was. He tied up Liston, who's measurements (biceps, wrist, chest) were greater than Tyson's, meaning he had more muscle. He did the same to Foreman, Frazier, etc.

  • @carmodifire dude so fucking what people have bigger arms than me but i can lift more u fuckin retard

  • @bill23138 just because tyson hit harder doesnt mean he was physically stronger than ali, tyson always was man handled in clinches. if foreman gets controlled by ali in the clinch so is tyson.

  • @bill23138 EXACTLY WHAT I SAID TO YOU BEFORE, IDIOT. I said, even if someone has more muscle, they're not necessarily stronger. You said Tyson was stronger BECAUSE he had more muscle. FAIL

  • @carmodifire but tyson had dense muscle u fucking idiot he was 5 10 216 pounds he was dense just look at his neck and tell me ali would push his head down

  • @bill23138 I looked at it. And Ali would control Tyson like a puppy on a leash. Tell me, even with Tyson's great neck, why did featherfist Douglas snap Tyson's head back with jabs? Ali was far superior. Watch 'Foreman on heavybag' he folded it in half. Ali took all that. And, if Tillis, Holi, etc controlled Tyson, so would Ali. You need back strength too, not just neck. Yes, Tyson had a good back... but Ali just was genetically stronger.

  • @carmodifire liston and foreman were alot stronger than mike. tyson was just more defined, alot of fighters tied up tyson easily tillis, green holyfield. ali tied up foreman who could toss tyson like a doll

  • @carmodifire i'de have to agree....Ali would frustrate Tyson....Mike catchs 2 or 3 punches on the way in gets tied up...repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Ali was never Ko'ed....Green, Smith, Ruddock, Tillis ALL went the distance vs Tyson to think Ali wouldn't is very very improbable...once you got past round 5 Tyson was just a good figther not a great one.

  • Mike Tyson

  • MUHAMMAD ALI

  • Left ear...

  • KID DYNAMITE .

  • MUHAMMAD ALI

  • frazier in manila, pardon me. Ali's greatness was over a 13 year period...against everybody...mike was devestating for 4-5 years and then was owned by james buster douglas...now, to equalthe ali legend, he has to go to jail, come back out, and then beat holyfield, and then beat lewis...but, oh yeah, he lost to both...at age 30...which excuse are we going with here? he's 30 losing to holyfield. FOREMAN wouldhave beat Holyfield if he hadn't lost about 3 steps of footspeed

  • @benny4540 If, Mike Tyson had beaten Holeyfield and Lennox Lewis, then and only then you might be able to say he was as great as Ali. He lost though to the best heavyweights of his era. Ali whiped his division clean. The young Ali of 1967 was way too fast for Tyson. And since Tyson didn't do well against opponets who weren't afraid, a loudmouth would really frustrate him. I'd say Ali of 67 would knock him out in round 8 or 9. And Ali of 74 would get him in round 13 or go the distance.

  • @michaelyouth ur dumb as hell kid

  • @bill23138 HAHAHAH NO ARGUMENTS? I've seen your page, pretty pathethic.. So be quiet skiny boy. Tyson did not beat the best heavyweights of his era. Holeyfield and Lewis beat him twice. Ali would whipe the ringwith Tyson.

  • @michaelyouth i know u dont really think that do stop lying to urself and me

  • @bill23138 Did he or did he not lose with Holeyfield And Lewis... Moron. Did Ali not beat George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, Henry Cooper and so many other great fighters.. Even if Ali lost ,he came back and won.. Tyson lost twice with holeyfield.. So be quiet skinny boy.

  • @michaelyouth dude im about the same size as hopkins first off so im not skinny second everybody u just named would of been an easy ko for tyson in his prime did tyson lose to anyone when rooney was his trainer? did anyone even come close to beating tyson when rooney was his trainer?

  • @bill23138 Like I said, skinny boy who is so skinny, that he thinks the muscles on his skelet, the muscles needed to live, is the same as the muscles Tyson for example had, be quiet. Did anybody even come close to beating Muhammad Ali in his prime? Who did Tyson take out? Really, name one great fighter that was not over the hill. He was knocking out bums, while Ali was beating on future hall of famers. So don't call me dumb no more, first get some muscles.

  • @michaelyouth uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh joe frazier did beat him in his prime u fucking idiot and are u mad that i have a better body than u?

  • @bill23138 Listen skinny boy. Frazier beat Ali after a 3 year exile. Ali lost all his reflexes. His prime was in 1964- 1967. With his peak in 67. But if he had gone on fighting for those 3 years he would have been even greater. Untouchable. And even so, he beat Joe Frazier twice after he lost. Did Tyson beat Holeyfield? Now name one person, that was not over his prime, who was a great fighter, and not old, that Tyson beat? Ali beat tens of those.. name one, skinny boy name one.

  • @michaelyouth jealous boy tyson beat tony tucker who would of probly knocked out frazier and probly most the people u want to name

  • @bill23138

Didn't Buster Douglas beat Tyson in his prime?

  • @Aphoresis no but good try tysons prime was over when rooney left him after rooney left he was never the same

  • @benny4540 stop taking up all the comments loser

  • so which EXACT moment in time do you want for Mike's supposed invincibility...somewhere between Nov 86 when he won the WBC over berbick, and feb 90, when buster douglas knocked him out. do I get to pick ali's moment also...lessee, when he was untouchable beating Liston...or when he was at his peak in 67 before being banned...how a bout when he beat foreman in 74, outhinking and out fighting the hardest hitter in the sport...maybe the heart of a lion when he beat foreman in manila

  • you know, nobody ever talks longevity here...ali was great for 11 years...64 when he beat Liston nto 75 when he beat frazier. Mike was HW champ for 3 years 2 months...that's not even as long as Ali was banned from fighting...so yeah, frazier beat him after he hadn't fought for 3 years...and thenm the legend of ali was forever written, AFTER the layoff. look at when Mike got out of jail, losing to Holyfield at age 30. Ali beat foreman when Ali was 32

  • I just love these Tyson vs Ali debates, everybody has so many great opinions & ideas on what they think what would of happened, but its one thing we all can agree on That would of been one hell of a fight, & even 100 years from now people are STILL gonna remember Mike Tyson & Muhammad Ali :)

  • With a 9 inch reach disadvantage, Tyson WILL have to move his entire body from the outside in order to land a counter shot.

So can Tyson move his entire body as quick as Ali can move his jab? hahaha yeah right. As I said, he would try to counter Ali's every flinch and end up getting countered himself.

  • it's just that Tyson never had what needs to be the greatest...

  • i remember when heavyweights used to be kings of the world now its just pussies in the rings now

  • Both are great but they are not at the same era,Muhammad Ali was the true legend,Tyson came after him and now the phillipine boxer,I forgot his name

  • What's the name of the song that starts at 1:06??

  • Tyson was violent & ruthless & I love Ali to death but Tyson was a different animal compared to than frazier and foreman because he had speed AND power & Ali never faced a guy that had speed AND power but Tyson fought plenty of tall guys with reach & I dont think that Ali could match Tyson.

  • @illmatic826

I like how you think you can't compare Foreman to Tyson, but you think you can compare Ali to the complete bums that Tyson fought just because they were tall.

  • Tyson could of won with his power...However He Would Not Catch ali as he would dance rings around him and he was a smarter fighter, Where Tyson Has more of a rage towards him..But Theres No Point Argueing Over It As This Fight DID NOT HAPPEN!!

  • put it this way...if frazer could go toe to toe with ali....... im all for TYSON!!!

yes tyson was a gangster and showed alot of rage in and out of the ring, but come on.... he set a knew era in boxing, the youngest ever chamion, had his name on the WBC,WBA,IBF.... one thing ill give ali....he won the fans!!!

  • I love this 2 legends !!!

    ALL MY RESPECT !!!

  • song name plzzzzzzz

  • tyson 4 ever

  • Ali comes out dancing, lands many jabs and an occasional cross on Tyson. Ali taunts him, he responds angrily and swings carelessly. Ali adds left hooks, short straight rights and uppercutts as Mike over-comits, before tying him up and telling him 'you aint even burstin grapes son'. In the mid rounds Tyson gets knocked down, his eyes are swelling shut and he's looking for a way out. He either doen't respond to a bell, tries for a DQ, The corner throws in the towel, or he's eventualy KOd

  • Ali would beat the entire Al-Qaeda, MARVEL superheros and Chuck Norris in a row

  • i find it hilarious how people say Tyson is a stronger Frazier. Frazier had NO speed what so ever a prime Tyson was faster than a prime ali and its a fact he was Ali wouldnt know what to do with Tyson Tyson had lightning speed and devastating punching power people like Frazier and Foreman they had the solid punches but they had no speed what so ever even Ali was slagging of Frazier and Foreman for being slow as fuck Tyson had the speed strengh combos and the best headmovement in history

  • @TheLeithBoy lol frazier wasnt as fast as tyson but to say he is slow? wtf. your boxing credibility is destroyed, because of the foreman comment and the fact you said frazier floored ali witth a left hook. frazier cut off the ring better. threw more punches, was more aggressive, had more stamina, more heart, stronger mentally, tougher, better bodypuncher and he madde his opponents miss more punches than tyson, mike just got hit less. but joes oppo wasnt afraid to fight back

  • @messier991102 frazier did floor Ali LOL are you trying to tell me he never? theres a video on here take a look frazier left hand WACK down goes Ali

  • @TheLeithBoy HAHA, you must be joking. Man you're crazy. A prime Tyson was faster than a prime Ali? 'HAHHAHA. A lot of heavyweights including George Foreman, said that Ali is the fastest heavyweight that ever lived.

Dude, go and watch Ali's fight, his straight jab was clocked, 2/100st of a second. His reflexes were so amazing. Tyson was a LOT slower than Ali, you must be joking.

  • that nigga hungry lol

  • MIKE TYSON

  • Ali is the best

  • I'm pretty sure that Tyson would' take best puch of Ali', but i anit sure if Ali would' survive from Tyson's best punch, but in a 12 round fight Ali would beat Tyson with his technique.

prime Tyson vs prime Ali .... I don't know.

  • if it was 1974 and mike tyson is 30 muhammad ali is 30 muhammad ali will kill him dead mike tyson is scared of muhammad ali hes has speed hes so fast on hes legs and there has been no one that can bloody do muhammad ali bloody foot work

  • @alimoe500 Mike Tyson Aint Scared Of Shit Their Both Good But You Said Muhammad Ali I Quick I Can Agree With That But Mike Tyson Has Deadly Power So I Suggest You Shut The Fuck Up. And They've Both Knocked EachOver Out Before.

  • Muhammad Ali

  • The difference between Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali is Mike Tyson needed a good corner to help collect himself and guide him to victory. Muhammad Ali needed no one to tell him how to win, he was always in control.

  • @kevinmustberunning WHAT THE FUCK "Tyson needed a good corner to help collect himself and guide himt o victory" ive never read so much HORSE SHIT in my life are you fucking serios LMAO!!!!!!

  • @TheLeithBoy tyson did need a good corner becuase he was mentally weak. tyson worshipers main excuse for his down fall was the fact he fired rooney.

  • @kevinmustberunning ur a fucking idiot

  • @kevinmustberunning mike didnt need a corner to tell him how to win u fuckin retard

  • @bill23138 Watch Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglass.

  • @kevinmustberunning i have watch ali lose to frazier

  • @bill23138 I've seen Ali beat Frazier.

  • @kevinmustberunning well i can tell you what you would of never seen if tyson was in their era tyson lose to frazier

  • Tyson is just a stronger version of Frazier. Ali would win. Tyson would not catch Ali and then get frustrated and begin to throw wild punches I think. I think Tysons face would be a mess after Ali hit him so many times lol. But, there is a chance that Tyson could get in a lucky punch in the early rounds. Buster Douglous proved that Tyson would not be able to beat Ali. Ali was a better fighter than Douglas.

  • @Vendingguy1961 are you crazy? Tyson and frazier are nothing aike!! Fraziers only good punch was a left hook! Tyson had power in both hands, deadily speed, and great defense which frazier didn't have..plus be real the version of Tyson douglas so called beat thanx to that slow count was a former shell of himself who didnt throw punches in bunches like he did with Rooney. A prime Tyson would beat Ali..he wouldn't just load up with 1 shot. He would be patient and stalk Ali and punish the body

  • @tappmoney18 You basically admitted Ali was better than Tyson when you said Tyson lost to Douglas because he was a shell of his former self.

When Ali was a shell of his former self, he beat a monstrous Foreman (who I believe wouldve made mince meat of Tyson, also rumors that Tyson ducked him in the 90's), Kenny Norton, and out lasted Frazier in some brutal fights.

Tyson was good, but he relied on intimidation (by his own admission). When someone stood up to him with no fear, he wilted.

  • @StuUngar wrong ali outsmarted foreman. plus foreman is not even a good fighter speaking from a skill poin of view.. he swings violently throwing himself off balance, no speed, no stamina, no strategy. Tyson would hit foreman 5 times before he could react. Tyson didn't only just rely on intimidation... Razor Ruddock wasn't intimidated and what happened to him? did tyson crumble? No. What about Pinklon Thomas, or Mitch Green? They both fought tyson very well. Did Tyson crumble? No

  • @tappmoney18 Back to Ali, you talk about balance, speed, stamina, and strategy. Ali ranks better than Tyson and all of those areas. Power is where Tyson ranks above Ali. But Tyson faced punchers who hit much harder than him like Foreman and Shavers. Tyson admitted himself in an interview with Ali and Arsenio Hall. Tyson admitted in the documentary "Tyson" he didn't have good stamina and tried to end fights early.

  • @StuUngar Yea he said bc of his lungs. he could go the distance at a set pace. but Tyson is faster than Ali im sorry.. Ali has reach, chin, stamina advantage. Yea Shavers,Foreman and Tyson all hit very hard but think bout in All the data and the computers we have now and comparisons like sport science does with comparing lebrons dunk to mike tysons punch...etc. they never bring up foremane or shavers...maybe Tyson hit harder maybe he doesn't. we will never really know.

  • @StuUngar Since Tyson had such great balance, speed, and generates a lot of power due to his leverage maybe just maybe he hit harder if not just as hard as Shavers and Foreman you know? things like that make it an even playing field

  • @tappmoney18 Ali was never KO'd in his career. I think Ali gets knocked down, but not KO'd. Ali is much taller, has a much better reach, faster reflexes, and as fast as Tyson was, Ali in his prime was faster. Tysons only chance to win would be a KO in the early rounds. Which I doubt he could do. As the fight goes on, Tyson gets slow, frustrated and starts looking for a 1 hit KO. Ali punishes with jabs and unleashes combos when Tyson is gassed. Ali wins. MOF, Tyson EVER get up from a knockdown?

  • @StuUngar nah man Tyson was faster look at both of them in their prime. Ali's was fastest when he was Cassius Clay. not Ali if you get what i mean. Tyson's Combinations were faster than Ali's plus Tyson didn't look for 1 punch ko In his prime just study both fighters man. Every opponent Tyson fought as a pro had A Height, and Reach advantage but Tyson's swarming could nullify plus his defense was great. Ali would get countered off his jab. Did Tyson get knocked down in his prime? No

  • @tappmoney18

The only time Tyson's combos were as fast as Ali's was when he was shadow Boxing. In this fight it won't be about the speed of Combos, it's about reaction time, and Ali's is better than Tyson's.

Ali getting countered off the JAB? LOL!! just imagine a stout, short armed fighter leaping inside everytime Ali flinches to try to counter him because he thought it might have been a jab. Ali's feints and flinches are about as quick as his jab, good luck trying to counter them.

  • @StuUngar Prime Tyson = Cus and Rooney... in Tysons corner. A focused tyson cant be beat.

  • @Vendingguy1961 he hits a little harder and is faster than frazier. joe is more aggressive, has better stamina, more relentless, he throws more punches and is the far better inside fighter, mike prefers mid range

  • Ali fought Mike Tyson types in Sonny Liston, Joe Fraizer and George Foreman and beat them all. Tyson met one man who fought like Ali his name is Bustler Douglas...any more questions

  • The question is : "Can you kill a flying butterfly with a brick?". No way under normal circumstances so I think Ali would win.

  • Mike Tyson from the 1980s would destroy both Klitschko brothers. I laugh when I hear Larry Merchant and others say that the Klitschko's height is what makes them dominant. These commentators have short memory spans. They saw Tyson Annihilate men who stood 6 foot 6, 6 foot 8 etc. when he was still a teenager.

  • the diffrence between iron mike and ali is iron mike was a brawler and ali was a boxer

  • only mike tyson got KO'S bcoz of he's strength he is a over power person .. and his weakness is he's own strength LOL

  • yes he tuk his beatings like a man when he was past his best

    Mike Tyson

  • tillis did very good against mike, n ali was far better than tillis

  • Sting like a bee

  • tyson would beat ali 9 times outa 10 look at what joe frazier left hooks did to him in there first fight an tyson hit alot harder and faster and the prime tyson was more a boxer puncher than a braweler

  • @BRUMTOWNTRU YEAA BUT WHen ali boxed frazier he wasnt in his prime

  • @SuperLadiesman16

Anyway Frazier had a lot of things that Tyson didn't have: patience, stamina, heart and a personal reason to beat Ali.

  • @BRUMTOWNTRU Didn't tyson get KOd 6 times?

  • tyson would beat ali 9 times outa 10 look at what joe frazier left hooks did to him in there first fight an tyson hit alot harder and faster

  • Ali is the Greatest not only because he could have whooped Tyson but also because he existed during the greatest era of the heavy weight division. LIston Patterson, Frazier, Formen, Ali. All Amazing fighter and there primes overlapped with Ali's career. But Ali defeated them all

  • Float like a butterfly.....

  • THIS IS THE ONE BIG THING I SEE ALI HAD MORE SKILLS AS A BOXER..TYSON WAS A BRAWLER...ONCE HE GOT IN CLOSE TO THE OTHER FIGHTER HE WOULD BRING OUT EVERYTHING...ALI WAS A SMART FIGHTER AND KNEW HISSELF BETTER THAN ANYONE...HE WOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY TO GET AROUND ALL THAT TYSON THREW AT HIM...PLUS HE HAD GREAT RECOUPERATIVE POWERS!

  • where is ali ?

  • @Bigbadben7 peps need to remember that tyson was undefeated until Cuss Damato died, Damato was his coach since his begining in boxing, ha was a father for him, his mentor, he was everything, when he died Don King took his place, whichis mean: car, girl, easy money and NO HARD TRAINING!!!. thats why mike started to lose.

  • @mone1303 Cus died before Mike lost, true, but he continued to win with Kevin Rooney his other trainer with Cus. Mike was a grown man not a child. He started to lose because he was overrated and people no longer feared him. He was figured out like all great sports teams and athletes eventually are and that was Ali's specialty which is why he KOd both Liston and Foreman when no one else could even get past a few rds with them.

  • @mone1303 but he continue to win because we was a good fighter. HE WAS A GREAT FIGHTER WEN HE WAS WITH DAMATO.

  • @Bigbadben7 MAN DAT DONT MEAN SHIT, IT WAS PROLLY AN EXIBITION FIGHT, AINT NO DAMN BOXER GONNA GET SERIOUS OVER DAT SHIT. I USE TO BOX I SHOW WOULD SAY FUCK A EXIBITION.

IT DONT MATTER ABOUT KNOCKS IT MATTERS ABOUT WENS. ALI'S FUCKIN STYLE WOULDNT WORK AGAINST TYSON DUMBASS BOY. READ YA DAMN KEYZ OF BOXING BRO.

  • @TheOmgluver Don't speak again

  • man tyson cant even beat joe frazier

  • song?!

  • @DLKmusic96 Its called "I be want'n to be rich, but can't cuz I ain't no boxer, just a lazy......***ger wif no job only Hope and Change".
