The fushigi is actually made of plastic and metal. Usually some of the cheaper "Crystal" balls are made out of acrylic and if you were drop both off a balcony onto cement, the fushigi would smash and the acrylic sphere will just chip.

Contact juggling is very meditative and therapeutic. I wish I could do it. Lol.

What you got for Christmas, (if I'm right) is a Fushigi. It's a three layered ball. Layer one, the outer layer which is made of acrylic. Layer two, the middle layer which is a gel like substance. And the final layer, the core which is a counter-weight of sorts. It's great to practice contact-juggling with, but a real acrylic ball looks much better in my opinion.

lol i know the vids not about contact juggling but i gotta throw in my 2 cents, when you do the cradle use your index middle and ring fingers and have your middle lower than the other 2, so the ball kinda sits in that little seat, hence the cradle, and when you transfer to your palm try rolling it over the tips of your fingers in a fan motion rather than tossing it in the air. k, done with the tips heh
