@spinalTapSoundGuy I think they were going for half-assed "reduced" gravity. Without a spinning cylinder, like with the colonies, and without the needed mass for natural Earth-like gravity, I think they were assuming that the best anti-gravity could do is to mimic the moon.

Zeon is the greatest faction ever. Wish they had won and space was free. Then the Titans would have never existed. Char ruling over the colonies as President or King. Would have been bad ass.

The Zeon Operation "Operation British" Wiped out an entire Space colony, a few MILLION Innocent Civilians just so they could try dropping a the Colony on Jaburo. The Operation failed but part of the Colony still crashed on Earth and Hit Australia killing a couple hundred thousand people AT MINIMUM. Zeon's rule would've been one of Terror and massmurder. The Titans were small fries compared to the Atrocities of Zeon.

Each individual in Zeon was fighting for their own ideals just as much as they were for Zeon. Each character has their own motivation. The Zeon were not national socialists they were a monarchy. There was no socialism involved. Gihren believed in a superior race theory and was murdered by his own family. Do you understand what freedom is?

The Zeon people were happy and supportive as they had to be in order for the Zabi's to even remain in power. The Titans murdered people just because of their views entire colonies not because they were in a state of war fighting for a just cause. Most people justify the Unions actions in the Civil war. War is war.

Side 6 (Ironically with support from Side 3 aka Zeon), left the Federation and became the "Riah Republic". Side 6 became a Neutral party and it's own -Independent Nation- without the need to murder millions of innocents. Zeon's were belligerent by saying that they had to fight the Fed's for independence. (Again, look at Side 6 who left PEACEFULLY). There was no need for mass bloodshed.

Another example is the "Battle of Loum" (In this series) where the Zeons TRIED and FAILED to capture The Colony in an effort for ANOTHER Colony Drop. Later on, with Haman Karn (Zeta) SHE (NeoZeon) drops a Colony on Dublin, Ireland. Don't forget UC0083 "Star dust Memory". Yet ANOTHER Colony was dropped by guess who? ZEON

The federation could have used every colony against Zeon. War is brutal. Look back at history hell American history. Trying to look at the Federation as good as you have childishly done putting preferential labels on the factions. Neither side was "good" that is relative. Zeon was fighting the other 99% of the human population for independence.
