DC and Marvel are well each other's competition. The majority of heroes have their conterparts in the other company's work. Nobody is stealing from anybody. Take for example Slade and Deadpool. They are their counterparts yet they are miles apart. Captain Marvel is just a kiddy comic. (well the DC version). But then again marvel has "Spiderman loves Mary-Jane".
