  • Bhagavad-gita is a transcendental literature which one should read very carefully. if one properly follows the instructions of Bhagavad-gita, one can be freed from all the miseries and anxieties of life. One will be freed from all fears in this life, and one's next life will be spiritual.

There is also a further advantage

  • Krishna is a magic mushroom

  • don't fall for religion even though we all have different form of expressing our divinity as collectives of many cosmic star systems , in the end the spiral always ends in a piont only one piont

  • @HoneyBunnyMoney120 Wonderful!!! :)

  • holy shit a swastika in candles! thankyou7 for posting

  • @scans4uni swastika is a HINDU sign..and its a shame that white man from germany gave a bad name to swasti...KKK gives a bad name to the holy cross....right?

  • @voiceofhindu Why is your username "voice of hindu"? Are you an Hindu extremist?

  • @voiceofhindu Swastikas are found in almost all cultures.

  • 1st chapter and its a bunch of indians having a war with other indians, pointless nonsense....

  • @jamierourketen its easy to think its just about some war story..read further and read again , u'll learn more and more

  • @heavymetallover2468 most hindus are both. they understand the different aspects of each god/goddess which lets them have faith in each god/goddess but also understand that each of these gods/goddesses are ultimately a minute representation of the source from which all creatures emanate from. for me, personally, i am a monotheist before a polytheist because of my belief and experience of Brahman. Helpful?

  • " it is awesome that this religion has such detailed branches of belief. it makes Americans look simple minded and bad in the sense that all we really have to offer is bad television, corrupt government and weak armed forces under bad command. by studying the Hindu way of life, there is more to it than just the simple solution of believing in Jesus Christ. I believe in Christ but most Americans don't practice what they preach anyway. "

  • irreligion this is not adequate and the deriving principles are sweeping and enclined to prejudicial reasoning

  • excellent

  • There is a many ways to reach to God all of which have been defined in Bhagvat Gita,The concept of Yagna and the Yoga is all described here.

  • Bhagvat gita is the the source of the most spritiual and divine words, directly from none other than God, Lord Krishna the Incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is the Adi Purush. Brahma, Shiva and Lord Vishnu are from same Adi purush to perform the activiity of Universe, the creation, the maintainance and the destruction. All others are demigods and deities with their limited divine powers all empowerd by Lord Vishnu. In Hinduism there is no such confusion of one God or many Gods.

  • His most important personal power (swabhaviki) called yogmaya or ahladini shakti.” (6/8)

    “Mayic creations which are deteriorative, and the souls enjoying (harah) the objects of maya, are both eternal. The one Who is above both and Who is the controller of both is supreme God. When a devotee lovingly engrosses his mind in Him and constantly remembers Him, only then his mayic bondage is broken.” (1/10) “Only after realizing Him a soul may cross the ocean of maya;

there is no other way.” (3/8)

  • @heavymetallover. Your question about one God or many Gods. Here from Upnishad: You can find the definition in Upnishad.

"Na tasya karyam karnam cha vidhyate na tatsamchabhyadhichascha dhrishyate

prashya shaktirvivirvidhava shruyate swabhaviki gyanbal Kriyacha."

Nothing is equal to Him and nothing is more than Him; He is the ultimate supreme. He has many Divine powers, just like: knowledge (called chit tattva),

    almightiness, action.

  • For hindus, God is One.There are 2 ways to worship Him: 1st Worship him without form (unseen and this this is the most difficult path to attain him for the mind should be in merge with the macrocosm) or with form ( idols, pictures etc).As for god with form there are three main aspect Brahma( responsible for creation of universe), Vishnu(Protector), Shiva(Destroyer ....he destroys to be able to create a new for e.g the world )So this is a cycle. Ram, Krishna are incarnations of Vishnu on earth

  • Dear Tarun, If you don't understand any word stated here, you try to learn it. Lean, learn and on and on keep on learning. Learning will make you everything understand. This Universal preaches covers everything, tangible and intangible. The prayer, "LOKA SAMASTA SUKHINO BHAVANTU" And you can see a prayer, you find it only here my dear friend. By Som Canada

  • ''Who so ever worship me in what so ever form either straight or crooked all reach to me''. Lord Krishna

  • in the chapter regarding the worship of Lord Shiva, it is mentioned that Lord Shiva prefers to be worshipped in the form of linga over image representation(such as the common depiction) that are made and it is only selected few Brahmanas who have an understanding

  • Krishna also points out in another chapter that Brahmanas who merely engage in rituals and drink soma juice aren't great, and it is those who always engage their minds in thinking of the Supreme regardless of birth that are the ones whose value are based upon

and Arjuna is sent to exile because of attending a Brahmin

  • the Bhagavad Gita-Mahabharata is no "pro-Brahmin" text

on multiple occassions this is shown.

in this chapter, chapter 1, the one recited here in this vid

"oh best of the Brahmanas FOR YOUR INFORMATION"

Parasurama knew Karna was posing because he could endure getting his flesh bitten by a bug, wherein Parashurama remarks a Brahmin could not - indicating that Brahmins are physically weak

  • the inner meaning of krishna(the all attractive) is woven throughout this great book!!!

  • It is better to listen to a message given by Gods or sages of our land hindustan than to believe and listen to message born in deserts of Mecca and Jerusalem.I dont see any logic in believing in a foriegn God who is often seen in long white robes and big beards and equally funny to see ppl from India forgetting the cultur in India and turning towards Israel and Mecca to pray to foriegn Gods.Drive foriegn cars and wear foriegn clothes but Y do u need Foriegn Gods.?

  • instead of looking at what makes us different try to see what we have in common. our hair, eyes and skin may vary in color but we're the same specie living on one organizm called earth. just becouse we were born a couple of KM/ML to the north, east, south or north it dont mean we're different or that we own whats beneith our feet. think hard and be true to yourselfe, what kind of world would you want for your children...than... • shhh.. listen

  • @musliminshallah - yes he was, can you prove if he wasn't? ;-)

  • it is the essence of all wars fought by humankind.............if you do not understand this, you are equivalent to an amoeba

  • Dear Tarun, what made you think the abusing languages are written by a Christian? It can be any one. I am a Catholic from Kerala. I probably know Geetha more than many Hindus. So don't fall for this type of divisive forces and split our nation in the name of religion.

    take care my friend. :-)

  • @hnkabraham Well said my friend, I couldn't have said it any better myself: Angel.

  • @hnkabraham Dear friend:

India is not a 'nation' but a Union of India, so to say all its nations, kingdoms, empires and this in spite of modern republican merchants.....

  • @trubites lol my friend...wwjd? do u kno what that means ?

  • lord shri krishna(vishnu) is the supreme personality of godhead, lord shiva is a demigod and a great devotee of shri krishna, we have to pay our respect to lord shiva but he is not to be considered equal to or greater than krishna.

  • @prixyz5 That's only your thoughts. Lord Mahadev (God of God) and Lord Vishnu is not comparable and should not be compared to each other. You cannot say one is greater than other.

  • I consider myself monotheist. I worship in all his forms(Rama, Krishna, Nashrimadeva etc). I believe Krishna to be the original form of God and the source of all incarnations. I believe the other deities Shiva, Parvarti, Ganesh etc are heavenly beings and are devotees of Vishnu. In Vaishnava tradition we call them Demigods

  • that's right....

  • Why?

  • Because I believe Vishnu is the origin of everything. No- one is equal to or independant of Vishnu this goes for all created beings including the demigods. "Demigod" means half-God.

  • Is Vishnu the creator or Evil?

  • Vishnu(God) is the closest friend of every created being, his energy is in everything. He is equal to everyone. If you live a pious life he will reward you, if you break the law of God he will punish you accordingly. He can do no evil. A person who knows Vishnu(God) is in the mode of goodness

  • if u cant understand a word of this video then i dont think these lame questions are going to help. if u just want to make a mockery of the Geeta go ahead and do it. Atleast we know the good things Jesus taught. We dont know what you people understand. You worship Jesus.. fine although i'm not sure that's what jesus wanted. But he did want u to listen to his advice and 90% of u dont follow A THING he said. Now enough said.

  • well said, Tarun.

  • @tarun1982 lol I was brought up in a Christian school and I agree with everything you just said :s

  • @tarun1982 I dont understand a word, but I know a friend who can interpret.

  • @tarun1982 i totally understand....... unfortunately , people believe in Jesus..... not what he taught..... people go to church, but out of servitude , not to feel close to god.... i'm atheist, so generally dont believe in anything.... but that doesn't mean i dont listen........

  • I think the term would be pantheist, right? Have you had personal experiences which validate what you believe?

  • What you said is partially right..Lord Krishna is everything. But what you said about Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathi and Lord Ganesh is wrong. Lord Vishnu has asked his devotees to worship Lord Shiva so that they attain his Vaikunta. Also, Vishnu and Shiva are one and same.Lord Ganesh is said to be head of all the Ganas, that's why his name is Ganapathy. He is not a demi-god.Lord Vishnu himself said that people should worship him after seeking blessing of Lord Ganapathy.

  • If u have really understood the Gita ,u wont have argued Ganapati is God or demi God. God is saing he is ocean ,time ,infinite ,beginning ,end. What does this mean? Dont u understand this is a philosophy what man often think about God.Why God wd say something .This is just the way of represnting something. All the statue we worship is demi God.God is the super power who created us.This is well described by Gita.

  • See..the point is not to find fault in your reply. It is just to highlight the various lila's of Lord Vishnu. Om Namo Narayana...if you have a belief I don't want to disturb that...Hare Ram Hare Krishna....

  • Yes,Everything is based on beliefs. By every beliefs, we are riching to God.

My aim is not to hurt u or go against u. I am not finding fault .Why do u think so?

  • My view on who God is slightly different from AzureMisticoe. So I hope your not offended!. There are 3 aspects to God. 1. Impersonal brahman 2. paratma (the supersoul) 3. Bhagavan (Krishna)

  • My faith is strong, because I know that by Krishna's mercy, everything good is possible.

  • I remember getting my copy of Bhagavad Gita as it is 8 years ago. After I finished reading I had to read it twice! A year later I joined my nearest ISKCON temple in south London. Since then I have read the Ramayana, Mahabharata, sri isopanishad and have now started reading the Srimad Bhagavatam.

  • If one of evil life turn in his thought

Straightly to Me, count him amidst the good; He hath the highway chosen; he shall grow; Righteous ere long; he shall attain that peace which changes not. Thou Prince of India! Be certain none can perish, trusting Me! O Prithâs Son! whoso will turn to Me, Though they be born from the very womb of Sin,

Woman or man; sprung of the Vaisya caste; lowly Sudra, all Plant foot upon the highest path; how then the Brahmans, royal saints?

    - Gita, Ch 9, v 116.

  • Whoever serve Me—as I show Myself—

Constantly true, in full devotion fixed,

These hold I very holy. But who serve—

Worshipping Me The One, The Invisible,

    The Unrevealed, Unnamed, Unthinkable,

    Uttermost, All-pervading, Highest, Sure—

Who thus adore Me, mastering their sense,

Of one set mind to all, glad in all good,

These blessed souls come unto Me.

    - Bhagavad Gita, Ch: 12, Verse 5

  • When evil takes birth on th earth-God comes in diff forms to end th evil(Rama for ex is an avatar of Vishnu)So tis believd tht whn evil takes place on tis Earth-God comes in the diff forms to end the evil n ultimately the GOOD prevails ovr evil.

  • Hinduism believes in One God-who is the unknwn-who has no name, no form-is the unknwn. This 1 unknwn spirit calld God - has 3 aspects f himslf-The creator (Brahma),The Sustainer/protector (Vishnu) n The destroyer(Shiva). These 3 aspects of GOD shows the 3 sides of the GOD-God creates,sustains/protects, destroys-Brahma,Vishnu,Shiva.

  • @AzureMysticoe yes Hinduism bleieves in one God...Krishna...He has a personal form..He has a name Krishna..,

  • @AzureMysticoe Look more deeply. The conclusion of the Vedic scriptures is that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Vishnu is Krishna who creates the creator, Brahma, and can destroy the destroyer, Shiva.

  • thank you

    om nama shiva.

  • The word 'Krishna' means black or dark in Sanskrit. In fact, all the powerful Gods and Goddess of Hindusim are black in complexion, Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu, Kali etc. to name a few.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Hare Krishna!

  • thank you for posting this!

    Jai Sri Krishna!
