  • Don't take it for granted.. Even on the worst of days...

  • He didnt grow that beard. That beard grew him.

  • haha bitch

  • He is so right about the technical problems. At Sounds of the Underground, they were the ONLY band that had technical problems, and EVERYTHING kept screwing up and shutting off. Jean-Paul was AMAZING at keeping it together, he never faltered once, even when the roadies wandered around in a daze and Neil looked like he wanted to stab them with his beard.

  • when i grow older, i'm getting a beard that looks like that

  • When Fallon was born, he came out beard first.

  • Neils beard could whop chuck norris's

  • thumb up if you see one real soupmaker on this video!

  • So fucking hot I want to eat his face off!

  • He gets it and thats why i'm a proud clutch fan!

  • WOW I WISH I HAD A BEARD LIKE THAT DAMMIT!

  • I feel like a bonehead not going to Download now. Clutch are fucking awesome

  • he is beautiful

  • he stores most of his wisdom in his almighty beard

and that's a lot of beard

  • he looks like hugh laurie with a beard

  • Neil Fallon's beard is so awesome

  • Comment removed

  • neil for prez

  • Clutch is the best ever!

  • Epic Beard!

  • I wished Neil would donate the beard & stash, to those less fortunate so it can be transplanted... LIKE ME!

  • @VictusDwayne

Me too man! Im so freakin pissed, i want a really fucking big beard, all my hair is either pubic forests or big plains on my legs. FUCK what useless places to grow hair!

  • @zenwinex yeah lol

  • neil fllon is awesome...hes the only guy on these little download interviews who doesnt seem like a dick..

  • 2:28 - ROFLMAO @ "Punching Puffins" - what an awesome band name!! ^_^

  • Neil is such a fuckin cool dude

  • although he looks like steve carell on evan almighty in this video, this guy is straight up genius

  • Best thing about this band is the music is so cool and so many people like Clutch that usually like so many different genres. I saw them and there was a huge mix of people in the crowd. I toured didn`t rent and my laney head died 3rd gig in. I shit my pants for two weeks in case anything went wrong with my spare. On the usual paltry tour allowance of £10 per day on a small label I couldn`t afford to get the main fixed. A lesson learned.....?

Now i`m older and wiser I have a job... life sucks

  • I toured with a band for 5 years.

Everything Neil is saying is true.

Our band rented all our equipment..

    Funny Story:

I played Keys and one show we played at in West Virginia didn't have enough electrical power to fire up my 2 guitar players Marshall stacks along with my rig.

So I went outside and ran 5 extensions cords and pluged them in to the Bus we had at the time. (1955 Touring Bus, with a 1986 electrical generator.)

Worked fine and we Rocked the House.

  • He hit the nail on the head. No matter how bad a day sucks for him, it has to beat sitting in front of a PC all day or digging a ditch.

  • neil seems like a cool dude, I hope they continue kicking ass

  • I saw them way back in the early 90's at a small place called the Insect Club. The place was outta control when Clutch came on stage. When Clutch came out, there were people hangin' from the rafters and sh!t- like I said, outta control. Neil grabbed the mic and screamed "Get down!" and the dude did with his tail between his legs. hahaha. They came out, took control of the place, and put on a killer show. Even the neo-nazis were getting along with the blacks at the end. Killer show.

  • The man is real.... (Down to Earth)

  • I met Neil in Seattle outside while waiting for a show. He is hella kick back.

  • seen them at download and going to see them nov at manchester, best band in the world!!!!!!

  • Fallon's hella kick back and down to earth, man. I had the privilege of meeting him at a gig Clutch had up in Sacramento last October ('08) and he actually stopped to talk to me and my lady for a few minutes. He was both friendly and approachable. I hope to see them all again live real soon!

  • This guy writes some kick ass lyrics. I really don't understand why they tour with the bands they do though. It's a totally different vibe than Marilyn Manson or Korn, i'd see them more with a Black Label Society or The Black Crows.

  • the black crows?.....go watch the live binge n purge?.....then think about that one....

  • saw them support biohazard at the marquee club and it was the first Uk gig. I wondered the same thing....!

  • yeah i know what you mean InKa; Korn is shit, but I guess they play with such groups because they have to to find an outlet to get their music out to a lot of people. Reminds me of how Tool (good band) would be in a line up with Linkin Park (plastic-y commercial wannabe "metal"). You also get a mix of fans, like some intelligent types, but also a lot of deuschy frat-boy/jock metalhead types (see first 10 seconds of this video)

  • Well I think that if i first saw them when they toured with Marilyn Manson i wouldn't have liked them because i would've been wanting to hear the industrial metal type sound and they would've come out playing their bluesy hard rock stuff so i would've overlooked them. Thankfully i got tired of all the rap fans in my town telling me clutch is the only good rock band around and so i listened to them, now i can't understand why rap fans like Clutch, maybe their sound gets through to everyone.

  • yeah, that and how incredibly perfect his teeth are....

  • @UnkleAlbert wat lol

  • when you watch this, theres only one thing you can look at.

    the beard.

  • saw these guys at the download fest, and they were just awsome one of the best bands there.

  • He seems like an awesome down to earth kinda guy - and that beard is working for a pogonophile like me!

  • this band is awesome.. i discovered em maybe a week ago, and they really kick ass! great work mr. neil ;)

  • i saw clutch in 1998... along with limp & 7dust. these guys are so amazing that i have never found out why in the hell they haven't been bigger than the former two bands?

  • Thatz what I'm sayin'.

  • jesus on the dashboard... come on, this stuff is way more wicked and intelligent than a lot of things today. thanks, 1ballz08... that's what wez be sayin.... clutch kicks the ass and then writes a song about.... neil has more talent in his beard than these dinsey bands..

  • Agreed, brother!

  • Clutch is not a fad.......they keep it real and have loyal fans that go to every show ,and they keep puttin out kick ass jams....its word of mouth not so commercial someone wheres a shirt from a show....and the next persons looking them up.....they are big!!!Clutch is some good straight up rock n roll....not about the glam and commercial bullstuff...they seem to be just fine with what theyve done and how theyve done it

  • if i could just have a strand of his beard hair, maybe i could experience the awesomeness that is being Neil Fallon

  • haha that is a weird comment, waht would you do with his beard hair? :P i sorta know what you mean know, the guy is all kinds of awesome.. :)

  • theres too much awesomeness, no mortal could handle it

  • what a nice bloke! haha

  • just seen them at house of blues in cleveland ohio. show was sold out. i bought some scalper tix two for a buck ten. me and my wife had a blast. i thought fuck it. not very often you get to see sum clutch. it was worth evrery penny.

  • I was at that show too. It was kick ass!

  • Niel is so right I saw then at D fest in Tulsa last year and I don't know if Helmet thrashed the audio equipment before they took the stage or what but some speakers were blown and you could tell it was ruff on the band but they still managed to put on a hell of a show. Romsloney from the other comment is right they don't have a bad song but they pack in a loot of great stuff on every CD. I have em all and their prized possesions.

  • Just saw 'em in Tempe on 7/18 - fantastic show - if you have a chance, go see them. Played over 1/2 the new cd (which, only released 2 weeks ago, and I believe it is their best) - not a "weak"song on the entire cd. Whole thing is killer - no filler. Peppered the rest of the set with classic cuts from their 18 yr career.

  • where did they play? Marquee?

  • Yes, they played at Marquee

  • Milwauke Show in August! cant wait, SCFTW may be their best, followed by blast tyrant

  • I just saw them in atlantic city and there coming to philly sept 11...I go to they're shows when they're within a couple hr drive...and the new album is maybe the best 1 , I think

  • Just started listening to them, found out they're from Maryland, about 30 mins away from me.

  • Down to heart, yet a SOB on stage: real rock 'n roll icon.

    Clutch rule!

  • hmm, hoping to see them in norway soon

  • Strange Cousins sounds like it will be yet another evolutionary Clutch album. They really are the greatest. Abraham Lincoln is fucking face melting.

  • I'm surprised with them. Top quality band and yet so under-rated. Trying to grab tickets to see them in Houston on the 15th.

  • cant wait to see them when they come to st.louis on july 12!

  • fuck yeah, stl!!

  • Wow what a humble man Neil is!

Clutch: the best bar room rock 'n' roll band in the world!

  • seen them 7 times, they should have headlined the second stage

  • any dates named for November?

  • I wonder if they could have zoomed up a little closer to his face.

  • if they did they'd be in his brain

  • I have the honor of getting to interview this guy when they come to michigan the week of the new album.

  • Was So Pissed They Only Got Half An Hour...

  • One of the Best hardest working Rock bands of the last decade+

  • Of all the bands I've listened to and watched interviews of, the guys from Clutch are all the most humble, down to earth guys. They just live to play music and enjoy themselves, and it's something other bands need to take a look at.

  • i couldn't stop looking at the greys

  • i saw these with motorhead a few years back, i've been dying to see them since but couldn't get to download. hope everyone who went enjoyed them!

  • ive never had a better half an hour, they definately needed more time

  • damn, wish I could've gone

  • anyone know how they did at download???.... i couldn't go :(

  • They were fucking class mate
