Two pages works fine, but it doesn't quite work that way for multi-page pdfs, at least for me. I don't know what's going on, but I can't find the answer anywhere. Pages get duplicated in the place of added pages. I even tried a work-around by saving each page as individual pdfs (completely impractical in the event of many pages), still to no avail, still the same issues. Not obvious at all wtf is going on.

Nope! Nice try and logical - I guess. But after struggling aimlessly on a multi-multi-page scanned doc - & even after taking this advice....nope...I swtiched to PDFPen software app. (although after finally being able to save all my scanned batches in PDFPen, I reopened in Preview to crop the pages and make them pretty...) sheeesh.
