To me this song is about trying to be socially acceptable. People have set a standard of normalcy, and it makes them uncomfortable when people are outside of those standards. Especially those with disorders. It isn't okay to be different so we medicate. People with disorders are faulty. They need to be fixed. I say lets medicate the rest of society.

First 'Hate me' came out and got overplayed.

Then I head this on the local radio's website and fell in love with this song.

Then that annoying 'fall into the ocean' came out and has been playing for a year now.

Now the latest 'shes my ride home' might get overplayed too.

I was very disappointed that X amount of words, which is their best song, hardly got any airtime even here in their home state of Texas. The song disappeared before anybody could notice and most people dont even know this song.

I don't think it will ever go to the radio because 1: It's not Blue Octobers usual style in my opinion (It's much more danceish. Though I still don't own all of their CD's o.o) and 2: This is much more dancish, and dance isn't a very popular genre...
