But it's got that big ugly chin on it. Why is HTC making it's phones with these chins on them? The software looks amazing but they put it in a phone that looks like a 1980's electronic hand held game unit and it looks so thick? Why are these phones still so bulky looking?

it's not UGLY...as a matter of fact it gives me a phonelike feeling and i'm sure so many other people agree.

Um duh....... I'm sure every phone on the planet will give you a "phonelike feeling" if it is actually a PHONE. I'm only saying the model of this Hero could do without that big chin on it if they really want to hype it up as an "iphone killer" because that chin just makes the phone look big and clunky. That phone just does not match the beauty of the software they put in it.

the g1 looked cheap, the hero has a similar look but it has A LOT more polish. The phone is well designed with nice titanium bezel

Ok you have your opinion.... but here is my opinion..... Android phones should not be big, thick and clunky like this... especially if they don't come with a qwerty keyboard build in. If HTC and T-mobile really wanted to kick apple's rear end all up and down the street with this then they should have made it a lot thinner and without that ugly chin. How the heck are you supposed to carry this in your pocket with the chin sticking out like that?
