should be, Red Alert 3 didn't really have high system requirements and the 15" LCD is limited to 1280x800 so there's no reason why the 8600 GT couldn't do maximum quality at such a low resolution.

i have the same laptop, except the graphic card is 8600 GS instead of GT which is a tad weaker, but i got 4Gb Ram. the problem is: i can put everything on high and ultrahigh detail except the 'water detail' which has to remain on medium or the game becomes a bit slow. i wish there was an easy solution to this.

no, because I want people to see it's actually done on the laptop, you can't do that on with a video capture. You could claim it's running on a p3 1ghz with Voodoo2 with video capture ;) If you go to 1:20 you'll see I show the laptop.
