  • To me, this show should have been called "Stop Doing That!" It's like, my gawd man, take your head out of the vice, quit catching bullets with your teeth, stop being dragged around by a car at over 100mph, please, just stop doing that!

  • John and Fran could grope Cathy Lee all they wanted because they knew Joe Theismann had no chance of kicking their ass.

  • brought here by Family Guy. yes?

  • hated this show...glad they're old n gray now lol

  • Everything was brown and tan in the early 80's.

  • I used to love this show!! ^_^

  • Did John Davidson die? I havent seen him since this show.

  • @chrisinsocalif Still alive. Remember he hosted Hollywood Squares after this too. And no Family Guy didn't bring me to this. My childhood memories brought me to this.

  • This and Real People were precursors to Reality TV of the 2000's to a certain extent.

  • at 0:09 he looks like a doll....like ken from barbie!

  • So many mullets in the studio audience! THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

  • Thumbs up if Family Guy brought you here!

  • @aquaopa1 I saw the joke about John Davidson and wanted to compare Family Guy's version with the real life one. The show is too funny.

  • this is incredible ...

Thumbs up if you remember Crosby in the log rolling segment and it becoming apparent she wasn't wearing a bra.

  • When I was kid growing up in Oklahoma I used to watch this show. Fran Tarkenton used to do commercials for a Ford dealership in Oklahoma City and at the end of each commercial a group of people would shout "That's Incredible!" and Fran would say "No, that's Southwest Ford!". Thank you for this nice piece of nostalgia.

  • what ever happened to the guy that was on there with one arm? I think at the time, he was playing with Meadowlark Lemon's "Meadlowlark Buccaneers"? His name was David Millender.

  • what ever happened to the guy that was on there with one arm? I think at the time, he was playing with Meadowlark Lemon's "Meadlowlark Buccaneers"? His name was David Millender.

  • I think there is an ape in the audience.

  • esta presentacion me da escalofrios...es volver al pasado.

  • Back when reality shows were good

  • I remember this show, we used to love it!!

The show has been cited as an influence on hip-hop culture in New Zealand, where much television programming in the 1980s was American. In 1983 the show featured several dancing crews, giving youth of Pacific Island and Maori heritage, many of whom were interested in hip-hop culture and dance, a sense of connectedness to global youth culture [1]. The Floormasters hip hop dance crew appeared on the show in 1983. [2]

  • @RevBuck Interesting connection, this show was pretty cool back in the day, used to look forward to it all day at school. Man life was simple back then. 2 TV channels, AM radio only lol!

Back in the 80's and 90's popular hip hop had a little more meaning rather than simply ego.

  • John Davidson's face look like "He-man" :)

  • This was such a great show! Used to watch it every week.

  • We never missed an episode of this show when I was a kid, but I had no memories of what kind of stories they covered or what guests they had. Thanks for posting this. The truly incredible part is that we found this so interesting at the time. But this and "Real People" were highly rated shows. (Btw, I can't say or hear the words "that's incredible" without thinking of that intro!)

  • I watched this show all the time when I was a kid. It was so much fun. I would much rather have this than all the mindless reality shows on tv now!

  • @jkgsparky. Aaaaaand why do I care what you think of George Bush?

    Seriously, why?

  • People voted for George Bush,TWICE.......that's fuckin stupid.

  • I remember this show! Used to watch it all the time! The one I remember the most was the fastest Rubic's Cube contest they had and I think those were kids that were doing it at that time! I can't believe how old-looking the film is. It sure beats anything that's on TV these days!

  • I miss the cheesy shows of the 70's and 80's....They were so ridiculous, but at the time they seemed to be really cool. LOL xD

  • I just experienced nostalgia overload. Who re-aired this with ratings info in upper corner?

  • I used to watch this on then WXEX Channel 8 (Richmond/Petersburg - now WRIC) back when I was in school.

  • Hey, Where's the black dude?

    Oh wait, that's "real people".

  • Cats on the stove? That's Incredible!

  • @:20 Greg Allman look-alike getting stuck between a cowboy and an elderly couple.THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

  • As a kid, that one episode with the tall dude that crammed himself in that little ass box freaked me out.

  • Love it

  • My favorite episode as a kid was the one where the dude was doing tricks with bubbles. He even made square bubbles. Does anyone else remember that episode?

  • @marioTmaggot yes I remember all the episodes, wish you could get them on dvd.

  • escucho esa musica y es como si 25 años no hubiesen pasado

  • We were watching it in Greece in the '80's when I was a child!

  • So many mullets in the studio audience. THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

  • used to watch this back in the day lol

  • John Davidson es igualito a Ken el novio de Barbie.

  • I always thought Cathy Lee Crosby was sexy, no wonder John Davidson and Frank Tarkenton used 2 always put their hands on her! lol

  • do anybody kno how to find the skinny black boy that was on the show dat lift 1000 pounds

  • You know what is Incredible? the fact that John Davidson's helmet hair could stop a bullet.

  • god i miss those days

  • Steve Baker?! I remember him!!! I remember seeing trying to escape from inside of a crate, being handcuffed inside of it while a racecar is charging at it. The worlds greatest stuntman!

  • The best thing about this show were those two beautiful love melons on Cathy Lee's chest

  • At least TV back them was Family oriented.

  • This song was in my head all day yesterday. First I heard it on Jim Rome, then I looked it up on YouTube, and then it was going through my head as I helped rally my school's soccer team to victory!

  • LOL WAR coked-out studio audience, disco theme music and blow-dried hair!

  • WAR Rome saying THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

    WOW

    That is incredible LOL

You got ot love the 1970's

  • I remember this show. For it's day, it really wasn't that bad. It was on around the same time as "Real People" and the 80's version of "You Asked For It". All of them were kind of like a Ripleys Believe It or Not" rip-off but, I sat there and watched all of them every week!

BTW, Ripleys was WA-A-A-A-AY better when Jack Palance was the host!

  • @PaulUmbarger Oh yeh, Jack Palance was the original hard bastard. How do you get a voice that gravelly anyway? 40 years worth of Lucky Strike?

  • @mattblack77nz LOL! That and gargleing with a broken beer bottle too I guess! LOL! Jack cold make even a story about shoe laces seem creepy or bizarre! LOL!

  • Looking back, nothing on this show was incredible. But in the late 70's we all thought so LOL

  • @Wild1995 I don't know, this bit 1:08 looks pretty incredible.

  • you are so funny

I saw your email last week and thought you were serious and had no idea what you were talking about until now

    LOL You are funny

  • @Wild1995 Cats on a stove? Yep, pretty incredible.

  • If you remember this show, then congratulations, you are officially OLD!

  • @musicforsean I prefer the term, "mature", perhaps even "wordly" and "experienced"

  • It took three people to host this show? That really is incredible.

  • Dragged down a track? At over 160 miles per hour?!?! NOW THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

  • You were too young to have watched this shit.

  • I used to watch that show all the time as a kid and I never noticed her cans til now. That's incredible!

  • HAHAHAHA!!!

  • @Gorbachenko LOL That has to be one of the funniest things I,ve read on youtube..and I agree..I watched this as a kid too...and never noticed her cans

  • @Gorbachenko All straight guys ever think about is sex...and we gay men get called pervs?

  • Which show was first? "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" or "Thats Incredible"?

  • This was truly a time before Jews came in and dominated TV production and writing...

  • Does someone have the theme for Incredible Sunday? That show was awesome!

  • we also only had like 3 channels to choose from and no internet! This show was like gold

  • fran tarkington is a hall of football the best in the bast

  • i fucking hate this show its associated with alot of bad memories.

  • craftruth2009, If the 1980s were so bad why are you searching and watching videos from the 1980s? Then you even take the time to comment about it. If you hate it why don't you just move on?

  • craftruth2009 is a homosexual male who performs fellatio on feces tained penises.

  • Oh wow, I miss this intro music! It's so much better than the music you'll find on TV nowadays.

    Great memories!!!

  • 0:59 sec

    WOW!!!!!

    incredible.

  • Cat=star..I can haz cheezburger=Incredible?? This show used to scare me when I was a kid..now I know why..John Davidson's hair!

  • You can thank the writers' strike for steamers like this and Real People.

  • Look at Fran chugging down those stairs...Wonder if he was imagining Jack Lambert behind him. Better have his Hai Karate ready! I'm pretty sure that they use John Davidson's hair care products as the base ingredients for space shuttle heat sheild tiles.

  • HELL YEAH LOL

  • I love it...at 1:09of all the "incredible" video to show after the intro, the first thing we see is a cat sitting in a pot! LOL. Maybe the cat is the supervising producer, as stated!

  • Three people I remember from this show:

-The man who dived into a shallow pool of water from 20 or 25 feet up.

-The contortionist who would fit into a small glass box.

-The asian man who had part of a head sticking out of his mouth. Haha.

  • I, too, remember those last 2 you mentioned. I even remembered the guy that had 1 leg who played basketball. And I think they had a guy who no legs who played football and baseball.

    Do you remember those too?

  • I remember they had a big variety of people....like kids dribbling basketballs, I dont think I remember anyone with no legs.

  • Yeah, the dude who fit in to the plexi glass box that they submerged under water....his name was the yogi kutta or something like that...

Cathy Lee Crosby sure was cute.

  • what, no new record this week of falling dominos?????? lol

  • kool ....early 80's tv

  • OMG. I used to think this was the greatest show on earth. Now I'm a little older I can see it for what it actually is. Typically 80's American shit. How embarrassing. The hosts running down the stairs after being individually applauded when they introduced themselves. Cringe, cringe, embarrass, what were they thinking. At the time it was acceptable, these days you just have to laugh at it. And whats with the hosts talking amongst themsleves at the start of the show? Simply terrible!

  • Ah, back to a time when I had no responsibilities whatsoever and could watch mindless fun stuff like this.

Feeling quite nostalgic. This actually makes me kinda happy.

  • Yep those were the good old days! Right on!

  • THAT'S INCREDIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!111

It was all so much simpler then....

  • lol wow i remember that dude. He looks really plastic

  • I love the color scheme of the. I wonder who decided to go with three shades of shit scheme....gotta love the early 80's.

  • omg this is as cheesy and silly as i remember

  • I remember when SNL did a spoof combining Thats Incredible and Real People. They called it Really Incredible People.

  • She was damn hot, and her smile looks similar to the glamazon beth phoenix.

What an INCREDIBLE girl Cathy Lee Crosby !

  • i remember this show vividly. I watched it religiously every Monday night at I believe it was 8:00. I loved it when I was a kid. It also scared the bejesus out of me when they did the shows on 'real' ghosts!

  • Ha ha! I remember this show! Now that's well u know.

  • John Davidson's hair: now THAT'S incredible!

  • I don't remember this opening sequence...What I remember was the three hosts walking out from behind hinged doors with the logo...or am I having faulty memories?

  • Fran Tarkenton. Wore #10 with the Minnesota Vikings

  • Cat in pot @ 1:08

Is this what qualified as television entertainment back in the early 80s?

  • yes...and it was fucking incredible

  • lol

  • I always felt less intelligent after watching "That's Incredible", "Love American Style" and "Three's Company"

  • Monday nights 8 eastern 7 central

  • Now, how hot the blondie were?

  • Wow - total time-warp! Remember the contortionist guy who would fit in a small glass box?
