The story is bound to end up with Stone facing justice. I'd be happy if there was swift and certain justice within the law, but it seems to me there is just no punishment any more and not even the possibility of punishment for most crime in London. If only a whole station house could really work on one case like The Bill with such diligence. Sadly, it's a fantasy. Let's see how Stone faces up to his choices. That will be the measure of the man.
