In my humble opinion Zeba was a better actress than Shabnam.

I think that Zeba was able to deliver her dialogues with more emotions, which seemed spontaneous and natural utterance. Her expression seemed to be more realistic.

Whereas, if I recollect correctly, Shabnam's dialogues were recorded by someone else or at a later date. (continued...)

Whereas, if I recollect correctly, Shabnam's dialogues were recorded by someone else or at a later date. In acting her scope had seemed limited and one could predict her expressions. In Shabnam's support and to show an advantage I would say that Zeba's Heroes tended to blend into their characters more easily. Waheed Murad and Mohammad Ali were at their best being cast opposite Zeba.

Hello to everyone, The first Pakistani Film i saw was Aina, and it were Shabnam and Nadeem, both stole my heart so for me is Shabnam the Actress of Pakistan..without disrespecting other actresses. 1- Shabnum was a powerful lady in the house as well as outside

2- Yes, Robin Ghosh wanted to stay outa Pak but why? i- to settle in USA with their son. and not in BD. ii- major reason was that Shabnum's career had ended. If u just look at her career u'll find less than ordinary PUNJABI films there cuz the roles simply din suit him. Wo Tangay Wali ban kar loud Punjabi boltay huay even aapko bhi appeal nahi karay gi :)

iii) AFTER Shabnum's failure in even Punjabi films and the failure of last 2 movies of Robin Ghosh (cuz of lack of voices in the industry to sing for his style of songs.. with no Akhlaq Ahmed, no Nayyar in Films and just 1 average song of Shabnum Majid) financial crisis was written on the wall. Wo khud kahan say khata aur Shabnum ko kahan say khilata.

Aisay mein Shabnum nay ye idea diya kay i can still work in BD in movies. so They went to BD where this statement came to win sympathy.

1- Dilip never said he wanted to settle in Pak. He applied many times for Visa of Pak to visit his ancestors city which was rejected NOT by India but by Pakistan :) cuz both countries were not at Happy terms those days. Later he was granted permission and he visited here.

2- Zeba ko Shabnam ki nakami ka sabab qaraar dena bahut ziyadti hay. Zeba long ago film world chhoR chuki thi.Just check when her last movie came in.Shabnum kept on working years after that.till viewers started rejecting her.
