if you see the special feature commentaries on the DVD you'll see that even Rob Reiner (director) and Nora Ephron (writer) could not agree whether men and women can be friends. I always thought it was pretty amazing how they had them looking like convincing college kids up to older ages, without using a lot of makeup. Just suttle little things like hair styles ect. Billy goes from college kid to almost middle aged career guy, and it really works well. Same with her.

Fact of the matter is, this is how the mind of men are wired, and unless your male friends are suppressing their sexual thoughts to incredible extent, chances are they have fantasized about you at least once. Most of the time, it isn't personal, but just a thought that crosses their minds whenever curiosity get's the better of them ;)

Lol I have some guy friends and they already have girl friends so I feel okay being friends. if you see the special feature commentaries on the DVD you'll see that even Rob Reiner (director) and Nora Ephron (writer) could not agree whether men and women can be friends. To this day they each maintain their own opinion. Rob's being Harry's and Nora's being Sally's of course. You'll also notice that at the end of this clip when Sally gave Harry a parting look that she (and lots of women in general) seems to get dissapointed by this plausibility . Hehe... Oh well... I always thought it was pretty amazing how they had them looking like convincing college kids up to older ages, without using a lot of makeup. Just suttle little things like hair styles ect. Billy goes from college kid to almost middle aged career guy, and it really works well. Same with her.

Me too. And it's not just how they look. You can tell that their age is changing by what they say, how they say it, body language, quirks. It's amazing, really. And moreover all these little things are so subtle it's hard to point them out, they're not exaggerating or anything. Even more amazing.

What needs to be made clear here is that you do not have men friends. If your men friends are hitting on you they are not your friends, It does not matter that there is "nothing" going on. All it takes is for the desire to be present for the friendship to be a sham. My advice to you is keep your friendships to people of the same gender.
