  • I love the Carol Burnett Show but I miss Mama's Family! Im only 19 and i have watched every episode. =]

  • @teckie92 Ahh, but you have impeccable taste in television despite the young age :~) Wasn't that the best show ever?

  • best show since I love lucy!

  • LOVE Carol Burneet. so so wish there was something like this. SNL is good too, but it is not always as lighthearted as CB was.

  • miss this show

  • Good times.. 2 bad the world had 2 up and go turn to crap on us....

  • Wonder how they'd do with Risk, Payday, and Stop Thief?

  • @sha11235 Oh God

  • I love how she gets so excited about getting boardwalk and park place at the same time...classic (:

  • Eunice: BOARDWALK!! I can't beileve I landed on Boardwalk."

  • Is this on DVD? It should be.

  • i am only 14 and i miss thiis show

  • TV thsan was so much funnier. Just for laughs not for some message. Thank goodness for youtube.

  • LOL WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!!!

  • Poor Eunice. She has so little in her life to feel good about.

On the other hand, despite a rough childhood, Carol Burnett has had

a long and varied career in show biz. From one triumph to another.

    Tnx 4 posting Tabstarkin.

  • I laughed when while Eunice was singing, Mama said "Ed, you want another beer?"

  • if I l got that happy when I land on boardwalk I'd commit myself

  • Who owns Reading? Well, by golly, I do. TOOT TOOT!!! LOL

  • OMG... my ALL TIME FAVORITE (next to Went with the Wind of course)!!!

  • makes me wanna play more board games

  • BOARDWALK!!!! Ha ha. I love Eunice.

  • O.o you know my mom told me that Mama was like..in her...20's ..or 30's something but not old in that movie then found out it was true O.O SHE STILL ISNT OLD! -_-...shame she was on ..hannah montana

  • BUBBA'S PARENTS......LOL!

  • @Phokhotic You do know that Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar. He was probably the smartest U.S. President in history.

  • DON'T YOU ROLL 'TIL I CAN SEE THE DAMN DICE..lol... Mama

  • Are all americans this retarded?

  • @zapkvr nope.just you.

  • @siltor67 You idiot. There is NO WAY I could be this retarded. You see, I am not from the U.S.A.

  • @zapkvr NOPE,YOU'RE RETARDED IF YOU THINK TV IS REAL LIFE BITCH!

  • @Phokhotic Oh EXCUUUUUUUSE ME. I just assumed this was a honest representation of the people who really call the shots in U.S. politics, the great unwashed braindead majority who wouldn't vote even though life does depend on it.

  • @zapkvr I APOLOGIZE.........SORRY! I'M AMERICAN AND I'M IN NO WAY STUPID! I THOUGHT YOU MEANT ALL OF US!

  • i love raunchy humor, but even more i love how this show demonstrates that you don't have to be raunchy to make people laugh. this show is built around outrageous theatrics that leave me in tears. they don't make shows like this anymore. Carol Burnett Show and the first 5 years of SNL were the best.

  • @leasolanga The reason they don't make shows like this any more is because it stank. I's as funny as a fart in an elevator. If making fun of retarded people is funny then you can count me out.

  • i am 15 and this is one of the funnyest shows i have seen ever

  • Those were the days.....etc...

Pure, CLEAN entertainment......something the entire family could watch. Even the commercials were tolerable. Today? Not so. Imagine having to explain vaginal dryness or Viagra to your 7 year old....

No, today 95% of TV is garbage, and the other 5% is questionable, at best.

  • @benhurfanclub

Amen. That's why I don't watch it. If I could figure out where to send an email complaint, I'd tell the FCC to have all the personal matters commercials pulled from the air. God, who wants to know about such things?

  • @Nova7400

    ita awful, i know...

  • @benhurfanclub Seems to me you would be flat out counting past five. Look kids' level of understanding has nothing to do with it. How do you explain the evening news to them? Death? The way an elevator works? Why the sky is blue? Honestly you need to get a grip on reality.

  • @zapkvr Okay, I'll bite. I'm talking about the lack of good television, dude. Not the meaning of life.

Methinks I have firmer grip on reality that thee.

  • @benhurfanclub I think you have a grip on something. You should stop it or you'll go blind.

  • @zapkvr I knew I'd regret this.

  • Love Mama, reading the chance card...the whole thing,lol...."collect 200 dollars, 1936 parker brothers inc,? what the hell does that mean!" priceless.

  • No one in his right mind would play any game with these three. But that's

the way dysfunctional families are. Keep getting together for holidays and

keep fighting and drinking and frightening the children.

Can't fix 'em. Only solution is move away away and have no further contact.

(Free advice from the voice of experience.)

  • @rockgor

that was funny as hell, but oh so true!!!!

  • @rockgor Well they should have been fixed before they bred any more of them.

  • Vicki was a great actress

  • I Love this stuff!

  • The cast was wonderful. Of course, it wouldn't

have had much to do w/o the writers.

Carol overcame a terrible childhood. You

don't see her (or other cast members) getting

in and out of relationships, in and out of

rehab, in and out of jail.

An awful lot of entertainers (including

    multi-millionaire athletes) are from

    a new socio-economic class: wealthy

    trash!

  • Mamms Famaily was ok but after they killled of Aunt Fran wrote Eunice out got rid of a few others thats why it was bad for me

  • @EmoDeathStar121 The show was a spin off of the Carol Burnett Show skits from the 70's.

  • @calalilygirl Ah ok its just all confusing for me

  • The look that Ed and Mama give each other at 2:29 is priceless. It shows how those two at least have commiserating about Eunice in common, if not much else.

  • @pianowilliam thats at 3:29

  • All my life I've wanted Park Place and Boardwalk in the same game! haha

  • "Says collect two hundred dollars. 1936. Parker Brothers, Inc. What the hell does that mean?"

  • Mama's Family was the best show ever!

  • This was the Carol Burnett show from the 70's, not Mama's family, from the 80's. These skits were much better.

  • eunice the drama queen should have stoppes while she was ahead

  • "Hello, my sweet baby angel. How's my little precious darlin'? -

DON'T YOU ROLL 'TIL I CAN SEE THE DAMN DICE, EUNICE!"

  • "Morgage properties? Hell, this game is depressing!"

  • @rkcoaster7

    HAHA

  • THE GENIUSES OF COMEDY.... WISH THEY WERE STILL WITH US.. I'M ONLY 22 AND I can't believe how SUCKY TV IS COMPARED TO THEN.! WOW........

  • I agree Olaila, I grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show, still funny after all these years! Now days it's these reality series with drunk obnoxious sluts... Wow we are doomed.

  • @0laila @0laila I'm sure that's the same thing adults who watched "I Love Lucy" 20 years prior said when they saw this.

  • @0laila...totally agree with you!

  • @0laila Only Harvey Korman is dead. Carol and Vicki are still very much alive!

  • @0laila hello, yes i would agree COMPLETELY... i love the oldies... i'm 32... i remember watching mama's family after school... but this episode i assume is from the carol bernett show?? i don't remember this one, and the kitchen set up is also different... have you seen the Mama's family show? it's great, some day i will own all the seasons... and there is no where on the net i know of to watch them either...

  • @0laila they're not dead, and vicky lawrence is usually appearing at an indian casino near you!

  • @0laila I agree with you completely.

  • " I am invince-ibble!"....love it!

  • gotta love mama......!

  • "Phillip, thats wonderful-says collect 200 dollars 1936 Parker Brothers Inc...

...What the hell does that mean??"

    Classic Mama, God love her!

  • I miss that show! wolf

  • ya gotta love 'em for the 11 hilarious years this show was on. Luv ya Harvey

  • BOARDWALK!!!!!!!!!1

  • Mama always makes my day.

  • sit down and roll . . .

  • LMAO @ Mama getting up as Eunice was overreacting and asking Ed if he wanted another beer. Ed sounded a lot like Mama in the syndication episodes when he yelled at her about that 25 dollars

  • Lord, she is so dramatic.

    Hahah.

  • "Collect two hundred dollars 1936 Parker Brothers, Inc. What the hell does that mean?" HAHAHAHA!! Priceless!

  • One of the BEST things that ever came out of the Carol Burnett Show!!!!!

    This is PURE GOLD!!!!

  • best comedy show ever.

  • R.I.P Harvey Korman you will be missed.

  • I did not even know that Harvey Korman died!!

    Such a shame!!

  • Yeah May 29,2008 at the age of 81.

  • I loved Harveys humour !..I don't mean any disrespect to him, but when he scratches his ass at 2:25, was it sub-conscious, or an intentionally brilliant "stroke" of genius

  • thats pretty young for an old guy Goerge Burns lived to be in his 100

  • "1936 Parker Bros. Inc... What the hell does that mean?!"

    Brilliant!

  • its so crazy how long monopoly has been around and it still looks exactly the same

  • LOL! love the glare that Ed gives her when she guilt-trips them into continuing the boring gsme! This is just as funny as when it first aired.

  • It just occurred to me that these are 3 of the luckiest people on earth (4 if you include Tim Conway for his "Mickey Harper" character). To have created such magnificent performances and to know that you've given so much pure unalloyed comedic joy to millions of people...well, THAT must be job satisfaction! :)

  • -scratch that, I guess it can't be Mickey "Harper"

I can still hear him saying to Vicki Lawrence "Helloooo Mother Harper" LOL

  • too damn funny!

  • omg this is freaking hilarious. Eunice and her "greatest triump of her life" lol and Thelma's "Don't you roll till I can see the damn dice, Eunice!"

  • Anyone notice when Ed roll 11 he is moving his token in the wrong direction? I love these skits, they are so funny.

  • He's moving it clock-wise... the way you're supposed to go

  • I remember a family skit from my childhood my childhood, I don't remember much about it exept it seemed kinda dark and drearie and kinda depressing, It seems like they are at the table and all get into a fight and Eunice walks around ranting from table to table, the table were sit up wierd. But it seems like Mama's son was in it and also Ellen, it seems like Ellen drops spoons or something in the kitchen. I'm thinking this one is the one I remember! Does that sound familiar to anyone?

  • This show was so funny:) What a shame there is nothing on to compare to it now:( Thanks so much for posting it. I love Mama's comments about mortgaging property. LMAO!!!!

  • That's one thing about Monopoly, if you're having any social problems with the people you're playing with, that game will bring it all out in the open. lol

  • Gosh, I loved "Mama's Family." This is hilarious! Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence rocked.

  • This is not "Mama's Family" form the '80's, but "The Carol Burnett Show", from the 70's, in which the writing was far superior.

  • @pianowilliam: I knew that. I was just pointing out the fact that I can see why they made a whole TV show based off of these skits.

  • Hedley Lamarr.

  • Boardwalk and Park Place....My whole life is changin! Eunice was such a drama queen.

  • "morgatge property! hell this game is depressing!" hahaha

  • Does anyone know where i can find the skit where carol comes home and the guy says dont squeez the charming. and its like a whole bunch of commercials

  • it's under unforgetable commercials

  • These skits were great

  • Boardwalk and Park Place!!! LOL...
