I heard a female singer sing this song when I was watching FOX 13 (WTVT) in Tampa. Also, another female singer sings this song for the news open on FOX 35 (WOFL) in Orlando.

@eastest566 Yep. That female singer you heard on the Tampa station is Syesha Mercado. She was on American Idol, Season 7. She cut a promo of the same song for the station that i watch FOX 2 (WJBK) in Detroit. The Tampa clip is on YouTube. I can't find the Detroit one though.

I had heard the original lyrics/music/performance was written by a viewer in Philadelphia and first used at WTXF. I haven't been up at 7am in years to see/hear the show. This version of the song, is a much better version, more professional. I also like the music video. I wonder how many Fox O&Os use the music open. I will have to check NYC sometime to see if they use the music. WTXF Philly has used it for several years. I know we all have to use the same graphics pkg.
