  • Hey Anatolian shepherd is Heavyweaght and boxer is lightweight !

  • Was that dog in the lampshade the ref?

  • Gz, you have lovely dogs

  • just love the ref in his protective head wear lol,,, funny

  • hahaha thats the funniest thing ever, exspecially when the cone head dog trys to jump in

  • I guess the dog with the cone is the referee! LOL!

  • I love the crosses!!

    Great video!

  • I have a boxer and a rescue dog that looks like a small version of your shepherd but acts entirely like a boxer, having seen this i wonder if he's a mix of the two, he's as smart as a dog can be and will run flat out all day every day, him and my boxer are the best of friends and spend most of their time "sparring"

  • haha adorable! what great breeds you have

  • how old is your anatolian? she looks just like mine, which is just over 5 months old (was born on 11/22/09). she definitely uses her paws to communicate! "shake" was like the easiest to train her to do!! :)

  • @willowrand She's about 4 years old now- I'm pretty sure she was about 18 months old in the video. We're crazy about her... she's obedient, sweet and very good with our toddler!

  • lol the anatolian is just smaking it around with his or hers paws lol, im looking to buy one of these dogs

  • putas mamadas chingena asu pmadre pinces perros acesinos

  • lol one dogs got the cone of shame ;)

  • @brad213 He is the referee.

  • akbas is a breed but anatolian shepherd is not a breed it is merely a term used for dog that guard livestock. well in turkey there is no breed as such.

  • I just love seing happy dogs being silly lol

  • where i can find a kangal dog?

  • FUCK OFF READ THE TITLE. NOT A KANGAL.

  • Actually anatolian shepard dog is an international name for a Kangal.Read a book for once in your life.

  • Actually that's pretty ignorant to say, because in fact i have read contradictory articles to you claim.

From what i understand the Anatolian is believed to be a Kangal X Akbash breed.

Perhaps one of our sources is false, but don't assume your the only person who knows how to read.

  • in turkish a dog that looks after livestock is called coban kopegi meaning shepherd dog. This is not a brred of a dog it is the function a dog does. there are 2 breeds in turkey that does this duty 1 is kangal 2 is akbas. In turkey there is no breed such as an anatolian shepherd. This is merely a job a dog does. These dogs called anatolian shepherd priginates from turkey but there is no breeders in turkey that breeds anatolian shepherds . they either breed kangals, akbas or malakli.

  • Addition, I have an Akbash. Same as Anatolian shepherd but white. She is fast, brave and affectionate. I tell you one thing. They definitely DO NOT need any training. They are EXTREMELY smart to know what to do. They just know it...They are the best dogs ever...

P.S. They always play with their paws. I think it is breed thing. My Akbash woould put her paws on you when she wants something or she would use her paw to pint something. AMAZING DOGS...

  • true akbas line from turkey look like this ( Süper bir AKBAŞ ) check this clip on youtube. white color dogs that look like labradoors arents true akbas dogs.

  • @cherrysushioscar an akbash is not the same as a anatolian shepherd dog at least i dont think it is and they arent very easy to train at alli just got a 8 week old anatolian about a month ago and he isnt very easy to train at all but i am getting somewhere with him. anatolians are not easy to train, they are very self reliant they where bread to think for themselves own so there could be a limited amount of humans in the field they also could think for themselves in attacks

  • @drewsisely My dog looked just like an Akbash but her parents were both Anatolian Shepherds. It's said that they are different breeds but they act almost the same.As for the training, I agree with you.You can't really train an Anatolian shepherd or Akbash. They are VERY stubborn. When I said "they do not need any training", I was talking about their powerful natural instincts. I meant they don't need to be told to guard the sheep or the house. They just naturally know their job as working dogs.

  • @cherrysushioscar thank you for clearing that up for me when you said they are easy to train i thought you meant training him to come when called or to sit not guard but you are right they don't need much training to guard they just need to be able to tell a friend from foe my anatolian is very smart that way we were walking down the street at night and there was a family walking twards us he emdietly jumep in front even though hes only 3 months old but wen the came closer we let them pet him

  • @cherrysushioscar and then from there on wen we saw a family or a couple he didnt get agressive just a little suspiciuos but he was nice and let them pet him he is a very cool dog

  • @cherrysushioscar in the US, Akbash, Kangal and Anatolian are treated as separate breeds, but they each turn up in the other's litters of puppies, so I think it is more likely that they are the same basic breed. Different types bred for the various climates and terrains found across Turkey. These different types emerge due to the wide genetic mix the Choban Kopegi developed over 1000's of years. My Karabas has an Akbas sister who has puppies that look Kangal. They are magnificent dogs.

  • @mugsford That is a great explanation. Just like you said, they are probably the same basic breed but their colors and strength developed silently different from one another depending on the region over the centuries. My Akbash was the only white one in a litter of 6. The others were Karabas.

  • @cherrysushioscar You have lovely dogs, I've watched your vids a few times, amazing how Tina can keep up with the greyhound! My Turkish friends tell me that Akbas are best for young children and baby animals, Karabas are for big flocks on unfenced range, and Kangals are more focused on perimeters and territory. This has been true for the working dogs I've seen, and my dogs divide things up here - my Kangal wants to see the edges, but my Karabas is at my side always.

  • That little white kitty is sitting behind them ans saying "oh these dogs..always play around" I am surprised the cat is not disturbed at all. The little puppy with the cone head is cute. She wants to join them...so cute ...

  • Small boxer or maybe just a puppy. Funny that the Shepherd is trying to box the boxer.

  • I love this video. We have a Boxer and an Anatolion Shaphererd and they play the same way. lol. I love my Anatolion she is the best dog I ever had, so well behaved and loving.

  • that is a nice anatolian i guess i is like 12-16 months old some thing. but a bit skinny.

beside large breed dog food mostly feed him with corn, vegies and rice mix food so by the time he reaches 3 years old will be able to tow your 4 ton SUV :)))

  • no you should give him meat

no corn and vegies and food from pet's store

    only meat and yoghurt

and give him water of course

if you get a pup.. give him yoghurt and some bread and when he gets 10 weeks or something start to give him little pieces of meat

    but yoghurt is very important

  • It's not that hard. They all mind very well and they do most of their playing outside.

  • wow wow adrian is right how do you handle these dogs and keep them under control??

  • wow how do you handle all those dog.
