At my previous residence my vehicle was broken into 7 times in 15 days, and many many other times. I used to leave it unlocked just so they would'nt break the windows or tear out the door locks (they did both). I finally ended up hanging dozens of fish hooks from the trees around the area where I parked with 20 # fishing line. Three nights later I got a heck of a show when I woke up to screaming and swearing in the middle of the night.
i have a ferrari 458 italia, and nobody around here's tried to get it, it only had a pack of mint chewing gum inside it, but i had stupid little kids touching it and hugging it, it's annoying, so we sold it incase people broke it/ stole it
he didn't try to break into your truck.. if caught in one lie noone has to believe another word you utter or type.. bigtime fail.. the title should have been, imo, kid walks up to my truck at 4am.. am I missin' somethin'..? I didn't think so..
Ah reminds me of the day I stepped out for a cigarette and heard someone messing with my car. Grabbed the shot gun. The guy didn't even speak english. Cops were there quick cause several neighbors called already about a guy breaking into peoples stuff. WHen the cops came I was like "LOL don't worry, thing isn't even loaded"
Here's an interesting follow up... What the kid didn't get from my locked truck, he did get from my neighbor's unlocked Jeep. He stole some expensive sunglasses and an iphone charger. He also hit about 10 other cars. It wasn't enough that the punk took the stuff. He wanted to make sure the owner knew he'd been there... So he left his cigarette butt in the cup holder. DNA got him 8 months later...
I had a situation like this in Salt Lake City some years ago. Cars being tested like this. I had a VCR, which at the time, was valuable. It broke, and I had an idea to put in a little model rocket engine, a bag of gas, and a bag of cat shit. I set it up, so when you plug in the thing, it would go off. I set it on the trunk of my car, along with some books, and things, to make it look like it was overlooked. Sure enough, it was gone in 15 mins. I heard fire engines. No more kid after that
COME TO MY HOUSE AND TRY I HAVE ALREADY CAUGHT A ROBBER AND HELD A GUN TO HIS FUCKIN HEAD IT WAS A THRILL AND A HAHA GOTCHA BITCH!!! THE FUCKER HASNT COME BACK SENSE I DONT FUCK AROUND TEST ME PUSSY ROBBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!ILL HAVE A REASON TO KILL YOU.
Interesting video. I'm a recent victim of such a crime. My doors were locked, but the asshole broke the window. They stole my laundry for fuck sake. The experience has changed me. I'm far more hard on criminals than I ever was before.
Amazing how quickly compassion for the fellow human can turn into skepticism, resentment, and contempt. I have come to the conclusion that ALL humanity is evil at it's core - and EVERYONE is not only capable but likely to do these things. All it takes is the idea they can get away with it. We see it on Wall Street, scammers, and priests. It is precisely why I have 16 cameras in/on my home, and three in my car.
If I could afford cameras, I definitely would have them installed, but currently, I am not doing well with money, which is why the recent break-in hurt even more. They took my video camera that used for extra income. They also took the last gift my dad gave me before he died. I have never felt these emotions before, but like I said, I am a changed man. All criminals white collar, blue collar and no collar should be met with justice. And I think it should be harsh.
@erkme73 i hear that and have come to the same conclusion; how r ur cams in ur car mounted? how much did they cost? i want to do the same thing cuz im sick of havin to worry about my car gettin vandalized or whether some thief will steal it
@erkme73 lol damn this house a block down from my neighborhood has cameras but i just figured they dealed drugs or had sum real expensive stuff...... just seems suspicious but i guess theres no such thing as 2 safe
@erkme73 I know this is old but I understand what you mean. I've never really thought much of the people walking around my "neighborhood" if you call it that. But last night my truck was broken into and almost $900 worth of stereo equipment etc. was gone, not to mention the price of the two windows they broke. Like peerenboom77 said, it has changed me too, since this morning. I definately will be installing security camera and loudest most sensitve alarm on my truck and keeping my gun by my bed.
@peerenboom77 it was a republican hit squad that stole your laundry, to make you as heartless as they are, and to being to their campaign HQ for Carly to sniff.
@loonmaniac - Does that include Lawyers, Cops, Judges, Accountants, 99% of Wall Street, Fat guys at buffets, Old Ladies who pocket fruit, Welfare frauds, EVERY President since Washington, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Kids in candy stores, People who let parking meters lapse & just drive off, McDonalds employees who eat Chicken nuggets from the nugget bin, Little girls who steal lipstick, Jim Baker, Tammy Faye, Preachers who drive Cadillacs paid for by prayers who nearly starve, or EVERY Theif?
dude i dont understand how people can do shit like this, i have a heart and i feel for people who make a honest living getting shit taken from them for no reason.
like the other day i gave some dude paypal money for a amazon gift card and he just took my money and gave me a fake code. that shit is fucking stupid
My car was broken into one time and the only thing they stole was my pack of cigarettes..BUT, they left me ONE on the dash! I couldn't help but laugh at it.
lol my car got broken into one twice now and the first time they stole my ipod. and the second time they stole all my change in my center console. BUT. left me the damn pennies. seriously who leaves the pennies.
I got hit this Friday.. I religiously lock my car doors but one of the few times I forget, they strike! So far I know they took my ipod, a power inverter and about $50 in change. Strangely, they checked out my Garmin GPS but left it sitting on the front seat.
they probably were thinking you could trackem down with the gps cuz its true you can, if its registered.
i remember once a friend of mine stole a gps, and i told him not to cuz they can track you if the owners smart, but he did anyways and he ended up leaving it in my truck. soo.. i got a free gps and it turns out it was extra new, wasnt registered. it was a win for me :] but poor guy that got jacked.
okay at best all he tryed was to open the locked handle at best
this is so not an attempt at a break in
i woke up once with a smashed window on my driver side jeep. stolen was a bluetooth headset (woop te do) and an eigth of weed i had hidden under the seat which i had totally forget about and usually never leave in vehicle.
My son's BMA was broken into about noon on a clear day. He has the security camera clip here on YouTUbe. Took the guy about 40 seconds to drive up, get out and break his window and still his gym bag.
listen buddy, ive been breaking inbto vehicles and snkeaing into homes for about 11 years, and i always do it when no one is looking so dont you dare say we thieves dont care what time it is, this guy just doesnt know what he is doing, i would have been more vigilant for cameras, people, or cops.
Hopefully in Florida. With the stand your ground law enacted in 2006, homeowners have the right to use deadly force on anyone in their home who was not invited in. Doesn't matter if you have a TV set in your hands and are walking to the door. The state sees you in someone's home as a class III forcible felony - authorizing lethal force. Back of the head, in the back, does not matter. Will be ruled self-defense. Sue hope you eyes on all sides of your head. Dangerous profession.
Here in the UK you don't have the right to defend you own home and the criminals are free to walk out the door with anything you want. A number of people have been taken to court for defending their own homes against burglars.
ive took more bullets than a wood target at a military base training people to shoot machine guns, and im still alive walking into peoples homes and stealing their euros and kitchen utensils. i would love to see you try to shoot me.
who said anything about shooting you? If i met any low life like you I'd beat the living shit out of them. Anyone would if you invade their home, weather its legal or not.
Your a complete idiot to brag about it.
Oh and another thing,
Your on a computer and you have a internet connection YOU DONT NEED TO ROB PEOPLE. Fucking ignorant low life.
low life? a low life is some one who drives around in a 1980 civic and lives on off of his parents, (you). ignorant? na. i am very open to all kinds of subjects and i am not an american bigot (you). alot of people try to kick my ass, but they find out they cant win against somone who has trained in martial arts since he was 15. (you) take care, im coming to your house next!
I am not american, and i think its stupid when people try and act tough on the internet , so it doesn't matter what ether of us say.
What i want to know is why do you rob people when you can afford martial art classes and have a computer and have internet (which means you have a house other wise wear does the bill go to.... since you just stated you are not a low life that lives off his parents.)
Then why put others through that? That is what i meant by ignorant. you effect others without care.
canada is just another state of usa. and your right, i dont just live off of robbing people, i also sell weed (MEDICAL) and sometimes i will sell it to just anyone for a couple of euros. do you think i ask peoples permsion to rob them?
@al3xt3hl0nly it doesnt matter how 'good' you may be at what you do(and sadly, you sound proud of it), one day your 'profession' will catch up to you; God hates a thief and we do reap what we sow; try to keep that in mind next time you try to jack somebdy's car or break into somebdy's house; you may find urself on the receivin end of a '45
i love it when people say that there car cant be broken to or if somebody tried the would shoot them the fact is if i want to i will get you at a movies restaurant ,mall work, vacation ,court or where ever. Yes you can kill somebody for breaking in your car .but you will got to jail in most cases but if not jail be ready to tell your kids you cant pay for collage because the big ass lawsuit you lost over a car
Depends on the state - and the DA. In Fl, once the police determine the act was self defense, you cannot be prosecuted. Period. And, since 2006, the 'stand your ground' law allows you to use deadly force as soon as someone has broken into your home or business. It does not matter where you shoot them. In the eyes of the law, if they're in your home they are there to commit a forceable felony - giving you the right to use deadly force - even if they're fleeing.
Yes, and I somehow got off track. That was my point for mentioning Texas' exception - which I wish other states would adopt. If every 'car hopper' knew that immediate death at the hands of the property owner is a job hazard, maybe it would discourage the practice a bit. And for those it doesn't, Darwin will take over.
Won't change criminals instead of just hopping cars stealing your stuff while your away they will be watch for people to come by and they will be armed themselves and it will become a hazard for anyone involved victim or purp. This is how generally non violent crimes become violent crimes. By allowing the use of deadly force in a situation that does not call for it.
Building on that, many states provide civil and criminal immunity from prosecution (and law suits). If you shoot at a criminal, over penetrate, and the round kills your neighbor's 6 year, you cannot be held responsible so long as the shooting was ruled justified by the investigator and AG/prosecutor...
key words "shooting was ruled justified by the investigator and AG/prosecutor..." in most state you would not be proteced if you shoot an hit sombody running of with a ipod or a 80k car if you where not in danger of being ran over .
Agreed. Wish it weren't so. But if you are in the car when the break in occur, use of deadly force is automatically authorized. Stumbling upon a car thief is not grounds - unless you're in TX. The "stand your ground" laws are now in a majority of states. It used to be you had to retreat. Now, as long as you're legally in a place you're allowed to be, and you are assaulted (as defined by the law) you're ok to shoot.
i agree with that an i guess what we are really talking about what is legal an what you can get away with i shoot a person before but i knew i was not legally justified but i also knew if i did not deal with him then it was going to come up again an i might not have the upper hand .So I fucked him. I don't fill bad about it an if I had to go to jail I would have .Because he would have came back for me if I had not .
I bet he was trying to find an ipod or loose cash not the actual car. Notice how he had a backpack on? I bet he put all the stuff he stole in that. ITs called car hopping...happen to me once.
you may not even have heard it, a good thief will make little noise breaking into your car, so unless you stare at your car you still might not have noticed it. if you stare at your car all night long just so you can run out with a shotgun that's your business.
Yes, the original video had much better resolution, and did provide a clean face shot. The police did get involved, and requested a copy of the video (on DVD) - which I provided. Never heard what came of it. I usually do back in. Can't recall why I didn't that evening, but that is common practice.
Another thought, trying backing your truck in. You may get a better shot of the next suspect that trys something. (hopefully it doesn't happen again.)
He did - three doors down. When I saw this video, I called the cops to find out if anyone else had reported a break-in. Several cars were hit that night.
Of course, I do not reccomend this method. =)

Yes you can kill somebody for breaking in your car .but you will got to jail in most cases but if not jail be ready to tell your kids you cant pay for collage because the big ass lawsuit you lost over a car

Actually, Texas is one state where you can use deadly force to protect property - you can even shoot a fleeing suspect if it's at night..:
§ 9.42. DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or
tangible, movable property:
(2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary: (A) to prevent... theft during the
nighttime...
Texas Penal Code Chapter 9. I hope more states adopt this...

i agree, this in true in texas.

How is that grand jury coming along with the case where the guy shoot two burglars in the back.who broke in to his neighbors?
CABLEWEST 3 years ago
Depends on the state - and the DA. In Fl, once the police determine the act was self defense, you cannot be prosecuted. Period. And, since 2006, the 'stand your ground' law allows you to use deadly force as soon as someone has broken into your home or business. It does not matter where you shoot them. In the eyes of the law, if they're in your home they are there to commit a forceable felony - giving you the right to use deadly force - even if they're fleeing.

that is allot diffrent than a car in your drive way

Yes, and I somehow got off track. That was my point for mentioning Texas' exception - which I wish other states would adopt. If every 'car hopper' knew that immediate death at the hands of the property owner is a job hazard, maybe it would discourage the practice a bit. And for those it doesn't, Darwin will take over.

@erkme73

If you shoot at a criminal, over penetrate, and the round kills your neighbor's 6 year, you cannot be held responsible so long as the shooting was ruled justified by the investigator and AG/prosecutor...
erkme73 3 years ago
key words "shooting was ruled justified by the investigator and AG/prosecutor..." in most state you would not be proteced if you shoot an hit sombody running of with a ipod or a 80k car if you where not in danger of being ran over .
CABLEWEST 3 years ago
Agreed. Wish it weren't so. But if you are in the car when the break in occur, use of deadly force is automatically authorized. Stumbling upon a car thief is not grounds - unless you're in TX. The "stand your ground" laws are now in a majority of states. It used to be you had to retreat. Now, as long as you're legally in a place you're allowed to be, and you are assaulted (as defined by the law) you're ok to shoot.
erkme73 3 years ago
i agree with that an i guess what we are really talking about what is legal an what you can get away with i shoot a person before but i knew i was not legally justified but i also knew if i did not deal with him then it was going to come up again an i might not have the upper hand .So I fucked him. I don't fill bad about it an if I had to go to jail I would have .Because he would have came back for me if I had not .

I bet he was trying to find an ipod or loose cash not the actual car. Notice how he had a backpack on? I bet he put all the stuff he stole in that. ITs called car hopping...happen to me once.

xmanblob13 3 years ago 3
@xmanblob13 no you wouldn't because you would have been asleep like this guy, that's why he had the camera on.
yeah41557 3 years ago
actually, i go to sleep at 5 am, so i'd be awake
xmanblob13 3 years ago
you may not even have heard it, a good thief will make little noise breaking into your car, so unless you stare at your car you still might not have noticed it. if you stare at your car all night long just so you can run out with a shotgun that's your business.
yeah41557 3 years ago
Yes, the original video had much better resolution, and did provide a clean face shot. The police did get involved, and requested a copy of the video (on DVD) - which I provided. Never heard what came of it. I usually do back in. Can't recall why I didn't that evening, but that is common practice.
erkme73 3 years ago
Another thought, trying backing your truck in. You may get a better shot of the next suspect that trys something. (hopefully it doesn't happen again.)
Airforcefinest 3 years ago
Did you let the cops watch the video?
Just wondering if the orginal footage showed the kids face a little better. The resolution on youtube isn't so great.
Airforcefinest 3 years ago
He did - three doors down. When I saw this video, I called the cops to find out if anyone else had reported a break-in. Several cars were hit that night.
