The Marantz M-16 Speakers are the best vintage speakers for your 2600. They are the "big brothers" to the HD-880 and Design Series 940 speakers. The M-16's are 12" 4-way speakers which can handle 300 watts continuous power and 400 watts peak power at 8 ohms. They were sold in mirrored pairs and are quite rare. The M-16's are the best speakers that Marantz ever built. They even have black polished glass tops over their hardwood top surfaces, and weigh close to 100 lbs apiece.

Hello, i also have a Marantz 2600, but i am searchng for the best speakers, meanwhile i am using JBL TR-126 but i know there are better options.
