you can put a clock battery that is 3 volt and it is small. Really good for the led lights I am using it for mine 1/10 scale car

i do 2 set of them ( 11 lights front 4 ,Rear 6 ,pipe 1 ) and ( 17 lights front 4 ,rear 6 ,pipe 1, around car 6 light ) use 6V battary
