  • Thumbs up if he looks like DJ Khaled.

  • that kick is so wrong..the worst kick i've ever seen

  • ugliest kick I have ever seen.

  • expert village has the worst videos of all time

  • if your all experts then why did you watch the fucking vid??

  • You're practicing for a football game???...cause that ain't a Muay Thai kick by a long shot. The impact force is horizontal not vertical..typical american crap!!! If your putting up a video to shop people how to kick at least make sure it's fu*& correct!!

  • Even str8-upward kicks have their place, and they were just "avoided" by many fighters, after rules transitioned in some mma circles, late 90s, to avoid hitting groin. Can people just allow someone to place instructionals w/o being so critical; at least have some respect, even if constructively criticizing...Even if some bad-mouthers do have some experience, I've found, from having investigated profilEs' tell-tale signs, most are theorists, aNd glean knowledge from viewing n not doing..

  • OK all this are good but watch the crazy guy behind them!!!

  • Guys watch a lot of actually muay thai padwork, I'm watching the Por Pramuk DVD right now and they are doing it nearly identical except it's not AS flat so he isn't kicking STRAIGHT up but it's still at an angle.

  • is that guy serious with those kicksss mcdojo what on the body can you hit effectively by kicking straight up

  • @MapmanDex The nuts I guess LMAO!!

  • dude what are you training for with that upwards kick? punting a football?......

    :-(

is expertvillage for real? or is this an inside joke?

  • @808csrt4 i know yeah the guy is kicking up when he should be kicking to the side and twisting with his hips. its the teachers wrong doing for not showing him the right way. the person holding the pads had it all wrong or else he might,v done it proper. i think he was training to kick in the balls. if so great job.

  • Dear Expert Village.

All your videos suck. Somehow you have the cunning ability to find "experts" who have no clue what they are talking about. You couldn`t go so wrong all the time if you were purposely trying.

And obviously none of your staff understands the topics they make vids about or they`d see it too.

Please stop making videos and misleading impressionable minds.

    Thank you.

  • maybe he scares his wife with those kicks but in reality his kicks suck donkey balls.

  • why the hell he's kick goin straight up?!

i dont think there's a balls kick in any martial arts X:

  • Comment removed

  • It's a hard kick, but the form is all wrong. He's kicking straight up. A real muay Thai kick comes around in a roundhouse-style towards the thigh, legs, or ribs.

  • yeah hes not turning over his hip at all...fail

  • buhaha

  • whahha

    all ur Videos SUCK

  • bad video......

  • there is no rotation in his hips and feet this is not right

  • say what you want you would not want to be in the way of that

  • WTF is this crap...1st. buddy is holding the thai pads all wrong....2nd. this guy tryin to kick, AINT putting any rotation into his hips, he's not pivoting his left foot....this just looks like a crap demonstration!

  • holly fuck i wouldn't wanna get kicked in the balls by that guy.

  • that guy is holding the pads wrong..

  • Check that guy with huge body and small legs...

    Haha...so funny

  • the dude in the gray sweater?

  • he is obviously doing front kicks ha ha

  • thats not a real kick is it?

hes gonna fucking break his foot if he hit an elbow

  • tha elbow when being compared to a kick is not tha strong...this kick lacks sum of the power that a roundhouse would but none the less if u have sumone that can deliver this kick an place it right...then an elbow can explode frm the force of the kick...ive seen it happen b4

  • No it is not a real kick.

  • there showing the basic idea of it,his form is wrong but it is still a switch kick ok people!

  • wat the fuk is this!?

  • Kicking up & no pivot!! Expert village???!!

  • what does nobody pivot at this gym?!

  • no it is a real kick im in mixed mattial arts / brazilian jiu-jitsu , yoiu can still som one in teh ribs you dont half to turn your foot for this kick it isnt a round house kick

  • Thats a soccer ball kick. You hit an elbow with that kick and you are done. He isnt turning it over. It looks like a karate instep kick.

  • Perhaps he's just aiming to hit the pads squarely? Does that seem plausible to anyone else?

  • no pad holder is wrong, kicker is wrong, u never kick straight up in muay thai, u always turn ur hip over

  • expert village my cock these guys are fuckin useless and dont know shit

  • I dont understand thai kick. Im not a pro but do do mma. And went to a Muay thai academy for a year before that. But I thought you were supposed to hold the thai pads close to you. Not extended way out. And the guy kicking why is he kicking upward? As if its a switch kick to the growing. I meen any body can kick hard going upward. I dunno? Like i said im no pro and am a pretty skinny guy. But I have studied these sports.

  • this guy is wrong...dont listen to expert village

  • Incorrect stance and kick,not M

  • Yeah, this is defnitely not right. This switch part is ok. But he needs to rotate his hips and pivot on his foot to bring the kick into the side of the opponent. Otherwise he's kicking straight up and all he'll get is air and elbows (ouch). Something I've noticed on most of their videos which is a shame for the amount of people who watch them, but most of their fighters don't pivot and turn their hips in, loosing so much power in the kick as a result...

  • nobody's perfect man, you ever see Shogun Rua do a switch kick? what style is that?

  • fucking hell, for a big guy he kicks fast and hard. crom 1989 u odnt know what you are talking about.

  • i know it scared me...

  • why is he kickin straight up, is he aiming for elbows?

  • One word guys, FATTY !

  • I bet he'd kick you to the fuckin moon

  • @scoobysdeathwish756 haha i agree with cheerydolce

  • dude stfu, im 15 and 176 but most of it is fat, and i take Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing and I've fucked up guys way faster and way stronger than me

  • one word guys,FATTY!

  • WRONG. This is how you do a watered down, americanized Switch kick. You're supposed to turn your hips basically 180 that puts more force into it. And your not supposed to kick straight up in the air like this idiot. WTF is he gonna hit kicking straight up? You kick Sideways into the opponents ribs. *Sigh* Seems like americans find a way to fuck up something. And for the record that guy wouldn't last a second in a real Muay Thai match, fatty.

  • I would agree with you Cheery.

You're not suppose to kick straight up, unless you're aiming for a groin kick!! This looks more like a punt than a switch kick!

  • nice comment hide a 100%

  • @cheerydolce Everything you said is right, but the switch is really well done.

  • @cheerydolce Thats true. The hips are rotated slightly and over to the direction of the opponent to add more power to the kick. And your right again. This guy would seriously benefit from a serious cutting period to lose some weight. Its all about speed and maximising power to weight ratio regardless of the art whether it be boxing, muay thai or JKD....etc etc. Im taught by one of the infamous Master Skens affiliate instrcutors, AND we always rotate the roll the hip to increase speed and power.

  • @cheerydolce i train in muay thai an ur so right he is fuking this up kicking upwards no turn in the hips or shoulders or anything and im on the chubby side an i would fucking this guys shit up!

  • @cheerydolce He's not even american dumbass. His name is Robert Garcia and I bet that would kick your skinny ass.

  • @cheerydolce You can tell he's doing a more Karate based kick which doesn't have to follow through the opponent / pad. You can also tell because there is little to no power behind that kick. Guy holding the pads didn't move an inch.

  • "woff woff"

  • ouch would suck to get kicked in the balls by him...

  • FAT GUY!

  • this must be the football switch kick

  • turn ur fuckin foot

  • i no wtf ur suposed to kick in to the rib not stright in to the air u suck balls

  • ya know....the speed and all was good...but last i checked when you kick...you go SIDEWAYS...not upward...holy crap..

  • what do you idiots think an axe kick is in TDK you straight up and come down

  • He's kicking up, and not connecting with his shins or using his hips.. SO WRONG!!

  • he looks like he would fall over if u hit him softly lmao and how u gonna kick someone mid level with an upwards kick lmao break ur toes is what this is good for

  • I was thinking the same, say if you connect with an elbow, your toe will feel like its now an inch inide your foot.

  • lol i got taught differently, aint u supposed to turn ur hips and stead by swing ur feet in a choppin motion kinda like trying to split a person in half

  • yes u r this guy is dumb lmao

  • yes u r this guy is dumb lmao

  • dude ur technique is so damn wrong!!!!

  • wtf

  • great technique to hit the weakest spot of a human, the balls? :|

  • doesn´t make sense to me either

  • why is he kicking UP??

  • exactly lol.. the guy is holding the pads wrong

  • I've walked into Vee Arnis Jitsu here in NYC one time and the head instructor David James was giving a class on Thai boxing. Almost every single student was holding the pads wrong and kicking upwards. Only ONE student, a young black kid, was nailing the Thai kick perfectly. Cutting right across and through the target with full torque of the hips. All the while Sensei James was saying "good, very good" to the other students. It was sad to say the least.
