  • If I were to be a tv judge like Judge Judy or the People's Court This would be the intro music to my show.

  • I was "not guilty" in my first playthrough without knowing about the trial in advance.. .but had I known about stealing they guys lunch, I probably would have done that, which would have tipped the scale...

  • @Widarr die, Motherfucker, die, du bist tot! :D

  • Why Crono is better than Link...

Crono has a lawyer to speak for him. Link can't talk AT ALL.

  • STIRB STIRB DU HURENSOHN

    <3 fav

  • The first time I played this I got all guilty because I examined everything!

  • The court part.. it was when I realized this game is going to be something special

  • @Raappisk Absolutely. Me too.

  • Why Chrono wins over Link?

Chrono has people to speak for him >:D

  • Fun Fact: this song was inspired by the The Trial from Pink Floyd's The Wall.

  • Favorite - FAV 2011

  • What Chrono thinks: "You know, I could very easily massacre my way out of this courtroom, but I think I won't out of deference to the girl I just met."

    What Chrono says: ....

  • If the Ruby Vest don't fit, you must acquit!

  • @zex95966 I got all not guilty and the judgue said 3 days prison but when I arived they said death penilty in 3 days.

  • @kairon156 Hahaha I know I did everything to get all not guilty too! They are such assholes!

  • @kairon156 Because of the chancellor, he's such a evil =D

  • @MoGaDeX agreed, the song gets really awesome around then

  • Shit gets real at 1:00.

  • this game had some sick music, who is the ''producer''?

  • @mariskartika The composer of this song (and partial of the soundtrack) was Nobuo Uematsu. That person also did Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy soundtracks. The other composer for some music in Chrono Trigger was Yasunori Mitsuda.

  • anybody wanna be a hero and put this into a piano song?

there r like only 1 or 2 versions who posted.

  • @Parkjisung91 ive played this on my keyboard check it out!

  • no matter how you answer in that part of the game yo allways go jail LOL!!

  • Was I the only one who ate the old guy's lunch by mistake?

  • Ahhhh love this song

  • "OBJECTION!"

*Crono looks backwards, sees Phoenix Wright*

    *Tears of joy!*

  • FEED HIM TO THE SHARKTICONS.

  • All suspects are guilty.

    Period.

Otherwise, they wouldn't be suspects, would they?

  • @zex95966 thats like the north korean court system lol

  • you know the most funniest thing about this track is when I here it, it reminds me that both of the chancellors were faked by Yakara

  • i want a hd remake with more animated sequence by Toryiama *-*

  • We're playing this in D&D after having a trial for starting a barfight XD

  • Does anyone else hate Chancellors no matter who they are? I'll hear someone say "oh the Chancellor of so-and-so country..." and I'll cringe just a little bit.

  • The Chancellor stole the Epoch and disliked this video from our time.

  • Chrono needed Casey Anthony's lawyer

  • @enetickk LOLOLOL

  • It was at this point that Crono realized how useful a defense attorney is when you can't talk.

  • @PhoenixWrightMaster Ironically.....*Points to your Name* XD

  • This rap song came on the radio the other day and I feel like it's clearly ripping off this theme, even though some of the notes are different. Kind of pisses me off.

    PBZ- "Madonna" (Feat. Gucci Mane)

  • @Ahshumpahshum They sampled this song, but they did it no justice :/

Wiz khalifa also sampled Schalas theme on never seen

  • @azra113 Agreed. Wiz Khalifa's song doesn't sound too bad with Schala's Theme, I'd like to know who told them about these themes, or if someone they work with played the game?

  • So if I get framed for robbing a bank ("kidnapping" Marle) by holding the money for the real robber after I left the bank, get arrested after returning the money (going to the castle), and before the robbing I ignored a homeless dude asking for money (the girl's cat) steal some guy's pen at the bank (the guy's lunch), I could be found innocent for robbing the bank, but still get the fucking death penalty because of ignoring the homeless guy and for stealing the pen?!

    Fucking chancellor.........

  • This reminds me of the trial in Pink Floyd's the Wall.

  • Ahah, the top-comments here are hilarious xD

  • @Zoorah lol especially "not guilty^10 = death"

  • Good morning, The Worm, Your Honour,

    The Crown will plainly show,

The prisoner who now stands before you,

    Was caught red-handed showing feelings.

Showing feelings of an almost human nature...

Thumbs up if the Clan of the Grey Wolf's Pop/Video game music similarities video brought you looking for this.

  • @StickManBlockland ... that's Pink Floyd's The Trial.

  • God....why did I try to sell that expensive necklace at the fest. Didn't mean to...honest was trying to buy some better equipment......she was always trouble from the beginning.

  • Great song! i just played this really well on my keyboard, everyone let me know what you all think!!!!!!! :)

  • /watch?v=ZE2t6HWmquc

    Remind anyone else of anything?

  • @OrangesofSymmetry yeah look like they sampled this from pink floyd but its a nice sample :p

  • Tear down the wall!

  • Stirb, stirb, stirb, DU HURENSOHN!

    F.A.V. 2011

  • Pierre was rubbish defense. Why didn't I just hire Phoenix Wright instead? And I got not guilty veridct, then the chancellor went on about me being found guilty! :O

  • 0:44 Favorite FTW :D

  • @LUKAY87 Definitely great, but my favorite is 0:59 ;) ;) ;)

  • @RottenPimple that was not meant

You do not have to understand ;)

  • If I am ever a judge in a courtroom this will be my theme song.

  • The best track from Chrono Trigger OST.

  • @huiggi Quick on the trigger, aren't you?

  • @songoku350 DJASLKDSK LOLOLOL

  • Chrono: Can I hire Phoenix Wright instead?

    Judge: Why?

Crono: 'cause no matter how many times i reset, i always get put in prison, but with phoenix, i can just reset every time i lose!

  • Johnny Cochran doesn't have shit on fucking PIERRE!

  • @songoku350 That shit is mad funny.

  • I love this theme right here. It could fit perfectly with Final Fantasy VII. The Don Corneo scenes....

  • Reminds me of Kefka's sneaky little theme..

  • @songoku350 lawl

  • He's a crook, captain hook, judge, won't you throw the book, at the pirate.

  • @darkjeshush wtf? XD

  • woohoo the ompaloompas newest song at the beginning

  • First time I played this scene, I was squirming in my seat...

Me: Oh shit, how can this get any worse...

Chancellor: Are you sure that you never partook in any acts of Gluttony?

    Me: Absolutely

Chancellor: Is that so? It so happens that I have a witness...

Me: Dammit! ALL I DID WAS PRESS A STUPID BUTTON!!!!

The Jury finds you guilty, 5-1.

    Me: SHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

  • @Link504 LOL

  • IM INOCENT I TELLS YA!

  • This track has a very strong mischiefous feeling to it :)

  • Well, Hitler was a chancellor too, so, that explains a lot...

  • even the first time I played tha game, I knew that chancellor is the real bitch

  • Comment removed

  • the trial and breaking out of jail were my fav parts :D I think im the only one who liked those parts lol

  • Judge:Oh it seems he's innocent, well then off you...

Chancellor:WAIT!!! Innocent or not he was still missing with her for 3 days, he should be convicted for those days.....AND THEN SENTENCED TO DEATH!

    Judge:But he's innocent....

Chancellor:I AM THE LAW!(insert Judge Dredd, 'law' line from Stallone here)

  • I was too busy eating that guys food to look for the cat... If Being a douche gets you the death penatly then why do I still see Jersey Shore on T.V...

  • If Cochran had played this during OJ's trial, he probably would have been acquited in no time.

  • Sounds a lot like something that they should have included in the Godfather soundtrack.

  • @songoku350

man you just about have the funniest comments on here lol the gato one had me rofl

  • *Grins* My lawyer buddy always hears this when he's in court. Needless to say he finds it a bit difficult to keep a straight face at times.

  • We just held an in-office courtroom to ban one of my co-workers from saying the phrase ' I hate you' which she spouts off every 20 seconds, needless to say, this song was played as we held our courtroom.

  • I remember when I got to the court trial in CT I was also about to face a trial of my own IRL for making prank phone calls... lol, I was 13.

  • I want this to be played at my murder trial

  • Man, I am glad they remade this game for the DS, but they need to put the original up on the Wii... I may never set the controller down again....

  • @zex95966 Then the guy who called guilty says, "Wait! I meant NOT Guilty!!!" then the chancellor says, "Death Penalty, he will be hung in 3 days." It's a sad world isn't it?

  • I'm sampling this.

  • Reminds me so much of The Trial.

0:09 - Good morning, The Worm, your honor!

    0:27 - Call the Schoolmaster!

0:44 - Crazy, toys in the attic, I am crazy

1:00 - The evidence before the court is incontrovertible

  • why does this remind of Home Alone?

  • wow lol i did ALL the things i must not do to be innocent..i eated the old mans lunch...didnt rescue the cat...take the pendant before talking to marle AND tried to sell it....and didnt wait for marle to eat candys.........lol all these old mans were saying "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" over and over and over......

  • Aww, if just Phoenix was his attorney...

  • @shadowlink512 I hope the prosecutor isn't von Karma. :p

  • at this point i found myself thinking: ugh wheres phoenix wright when you need him.

  • @metamaster5469

I did too...until I remembered that it would be 990 years before he was born at that point. lol

  • @songoku350 A+

  • Every times when I'm in trouble , before I make some decision , i listened this song repeatly. Different choice make different result. Which one should i go for ?

  • This doesnt remind anyone of Kefka's Theme?

  • Wow we did once a trial, ofcourse a fake one.. And I could only hear this song in my head. It's quite an enchanting song xD haha

  • oh right, i just forgot when it plays this song, i love this game, but my fav themes were other, like corridors of time or chronos's theme and frog's theme.

    anyway pretty good theme ^_^

  • Objection!

    *Points finger*

    ....Oh wait....

  • It does not sound similar to Pink Floyd's "The Trial" in the least. 5 notes of an 8 note riff share similarities, but are unmistakeably different by anyone with a decent ear. That and the entire rest of the song share no similarities at all. Stop claiming they're similar.

  • check out "chrono nurga" by ytcracker

  • For some reason, this reminds me of the Penultimate song from The Wall. I think it was called The Trial.

  • It does sound similar. And I suppose someone else thinks so too, since there's a link to the scene from the movie in Related Videos.

  • NOT Guilty

Who cares go to jail and die moron

    totally bad as song

  • "Not Guilty"

    But you're fucked anyway!

  • I love this song, its so underated

i loved the court scene, aswell as the rainbow shell one, breaking out of prison was awesome!

  • Remind anyone else of that 4th Grade Adventures game?

  • This music is good for the tribunal game "Phoenix Wright".

  • I tried to be a good person and return the cat and not eat the guy's lunch etc....but when i was found guilty anyway i was like eff that cat and ate the lunch the second time i played.

  • Same here! lol

  • Comment removed

  • Court as a melodramatic opera? Great idea!

  • "Guilty!"

  • best fucking game ever

  • Easily one of the best songs in Chrono Trigger. Vastly under rated.

  • i fucking love this

  • This sounds like the music that would be playing if you were watching your neighbors wife undressing in the window...xD

  • lmao

  • lol am stuck in my math homework and this song fits perfectly

  • this song reminds me of a montage that i just made up in my head of me writing my paper while my head lay in my palm with the room spinning. and everything is purple. this paper sucks.

  • Before there was Phoenix Wright...

    ...there was Pierre.

  • Objection! You are actually a monster.

  • @TheNN The funny thing about that is that he actually says "Objection!" in the DS remake XD

  • @TheNN Maybe so, but at least wright has nicer clothes. Zing!

  • *attempts to whistle and bob his head to the beat*

  • this reminds me of looking in peoples windows while they undress.

  • lmfao

  • And at 1:01 you get caught. LOL

  • nah, at 1:01 you realize they're a guy

  • No it's when your eyes get wide and your feverishly touch yourself as she begins to dance erotically in the front of the mirror.

  • lol haha that's pretty true

  • @amerthil pervert <_<

  • You know what this makes me think of? The cynical emperor; a man of near absolute power, but also a monarch who has become jaded over political intrigue. He rules with a scowl and a chip on his shoulder.

  • DnD much?

  • reminds me of tubba blubbas castle

  • sounds eerily like Pink Floyd's The Trial.. o.O

  • is it just me or is marle using flame magic on the box? O.o

  • yes maaaannny pple ask this

and it b/c of only one reason:

    fire sells

kids are more naturally drawn to fire than ice

its a fact and it makes sense

(im a kid too - but im 16)

  • Actually I think they made the box art when they had Marle using fire, and then changed her element to ice but didn't change the box art....

  • That was a pretty terrible explanation, sorry. I've heard many reasons, like Marle was originally supposed to use fire, fire represents her fiery personality, etc. I don't think it's because kids are drawn to fire,

  • This was a hell of a trial lol.

  • Good morning, Worm your honor.

    The crown will plainly show

The prisoner who now stands before you

    Was caught red-handed showing feelings

    Showing feelings of an almost human nature;

    This will not do.

    Call the schoolmaster!

  • Hehe... i like the face the Chancellor made when something strange happens ... with his open mouth XD

  • Yeah, Chancellor's surprised face is EPIC! XD

  • always wanted to beat this game got pretty far into it and my game got erased and i didnt want to redo everything same thing for super mario world all exits up to bowser nvr beat it

  • Same thing here, but I found the game amazing enough to warrant a second, third, hell even a fifth completion. Especially when you remember how there were about 15 different endings.

  • as the trials of my work continue...

  • is she scary

  • Ha ha, I love this scene in the game. :P

  • I always fell mad due to the Chancellor... But, you see... neither him or the Dragoon Tank were free of the true!

  • Scary and happy in some parts. And why Pink Floyd? I can't hear this song in it.

  • Always loved how this song matched the evil mischievousness of the Chancellor.

  • I love how this set a great tone for the whole game. This part made me fully realize that my characters actions have real consequences in the games world

  • It doesn't matter whether you're found innocent or guilty, but if you're innocent there's a free Ether in it for you!

  • I always hated that damn chancellor...

  • I blame Yakra... (ie the beast always impersonating him...)

  • FF8 parade theme. Thats Uematsu for ya

  • this was mitsuda

  • Comment removed

  • OBJECTION!!!!!

  • Chancellor Yakra: Yakra sez Overruled. (TO Chrono) You will die in 3 Days.

    Judge: Wait, who's the Ju-

Chancellor Yakra: (Again to Chrono) I SAID YOU GONNA DIE, BITCH!!!... Oh, and the Judge can go FUCK himself, Because I"m the Chancellor, Muthafucka!

Chrono: Wait, didn't I kill you in 400 BC?

Chancellor Yakra: O SHI-(Fades into the Sands of Time)

  • wasn't it 600 ad?

  • Right, right.

  • Or, was it 600 AD?
