  • if it goes on like this one time darwins books will be burned and then ill kill all those church-christian fanatics who did it and said it was all bullshit

  • The Nazis burned books. They were the GOVERNMENT. The examples you give of America are only a few PEOPLE, not the government. If you want to see a REAL Government book burning in the USA, then find "Operation Dark Heart - Book Burning by Obama Administration " on youtube or google. youtube.com/watch?v=AT0qgjxJyRA

  • A nice presentation of the danger of fundamentalism. It doesn't matter if it's a megalomaniac spreading hate to lead a country or a preacher doing so to lead his "flock." People who are too ignorant to do anything but follow will always be weapons for the manipulative and their vile offenses.

  • At least Harry Potter is not a valuable book of history. Burning very rare books about ancient history and culture is a true crime for the whole humanity.

  • Of course the nazis burned books. Lawl.

Seems like these guys did just about everything considered stupid / ignorant.

And, of course, they were Germans.

To be fare though, they had a lot of hate, and a good reason to hate as well. They were shamed and blamed for WWI, mostly because France was mad at them and convinced the Allies to shame them as well.

I know some people that nearly worship hitler.. Which is quite sick.

The Germans play a little too rough in war..

  • If you guys like Ray Bradbury then you should Google Dr. Booshka

  • Bless me, ultima is not a bad book why would they burn it?!?! O_o

  • Because they're narrowminded anti-intellectuals who hate free-thinkers.

  • what about Bless me, ultima?

what´s the plot of the book?

Well done pal; Ray would applaud you

  • The Bologna Bombing was in 1980 and was shown, by a parliamentary inquiry, to be the work of fascists linked to the security services. It was the Pentagon and Israelis who tried to sink the USS Liberty (BBC journalist). It was Israelis who tried to bomb the UK parliament (BBC). Study Operation Northwoods, Operation Gladio and Operation Mockinbird.

  • Great vid. But add this to it:

In the Nazi book-burnings, one of the books that went into the fire was written by a Jewish poet who prophetically wrote: "where one burns books, thereafter burns PEOPLE."

And that came to pass, in the Nazi holocaust 6 years later.

Nazi's burned books, and then burned people. That's why I'm so horrified when I see Americans burning books. History already shows what it leads to: burning people.

  • Get a life. A group of parental extremists making a demonstration over a book that everybody read anyway, that flourishes all over the planet, is hardly a comparison to the Nazis. Pick something more important and stop wasting your time on shitzki.

  • WOW! Burning books. People can be really ignorant.

  • Today are more Books not allowed than 1933!

  • Well I personally don't really like Harry Potter very much, but that's only my opinion. I don't really like the Donald Duck also. But I don't wanna burn ANY book. There are lot's of children who like to read it. It's a great way to motivate intellectualism for children (and parents) and that's always good and very welcome nowadays. People who burn books burn freedom, knowledge and wisdom. They are actually burning their own minds!

  • Oh no! Some people burned "Harry Potter" books, we are returning to a state of ignorance!

  • Book burning; certainly a sign of intelligent people (not). I am ashamed of us...humans.

  • Wow. That is a terrifying parallel to Nazi Germany. I had no idea Hitler even had book burnings. The pic of the bonfire during that time and the pic of the bonfire in 2001 are so similar it's...as I said, terrifying. Thank you for posting this and enlightening me on that fact of Nazi book burnings and their relevance to today.

  • Good vid

  • The CIA faked the evidence in the Lockerbie Bomb trial, according to a retired Scottish police chief (Scotland on Sunday 28 Aug 2005). Reportedly the CIA had been smuggling drugs and wanted to silence a whistleblower Major Charles McKee (BBC). So, the biggest terror event in the UK was reportedly the work of the CIA (reportedly just like the Bologna Bomb, Bali Bomb, 9 11 etc)

  • America has been cooking the books for years...

  • Burning books is an admission of angry ignorance (except for the Harry Potters: They're just lame).

A form of bookburning is happening right here on YooToob--many comments (of mine & others') critical of this latest form of fascism are frequently erased.

Has anyone else experienced this? Peace, all.

  • erased like from videos? because i think the poster of the video can do that, and comment profile thing too...

but it wouldnt surprise me if its just zionist new world order youtube moderators.

    peace

  • Some have been deleted by the poster for sure, and they've been "courteous" enough to explain why. As for the rest, who knows whether it's Big Brother or paranoia on my part? Not me, that's who: I'm quite probably insane XD

  • Its not just burning books its rewriting history

Its definitely a scary Big brother agenda

Thanks to Orwells book he gave us warning

  • Classical nazi behaviour. Burning books is one of the most ignorant things you could do. Aside from harry potter ofcourse, burnibg books actually says: we are not willing to read for our leaders have the questions.

    WAKE UP!

  • orwell is coming true. we have a show called big brother. is life immitating art?.

  • Good job!!!

  • I MEAN THE VIDEO - NOT BURNING BOOKS :)

  • if someone go to berlin, visit the "Bebelplatz" (formerly "Opernplatz" where they've burned Kästner, Marx, Heine, Tucholsky, Toller, Klabund,.... There is a memorial with these popular words by Heinrich Heine.
