If only zionists knew enough to look in the mirror and realize it's scientifically impossible to decend from dark skinned people regardless of what they want to believe or what their favorite book tells them. There would never have been any issue.
Whether he was of Jewish faith or not, appears to be far less relevant to him than are his guiding Moral Values and Ethical Principles.
A true 'Rebel' is one who challenges Injustice, regardless. His profound sense of Humanity was undoubtedly nurtured early in life by his mother and what she came away with from her own persecution under the Nazis.
Regarding the Palestinians, whereever they may have come from, and whomever they are, indigenous or otherwise, they are there nonetheless.
Palestine was not, and certainly is not now, a land of a few 'natives', as was the case in other instances of modern era Colonialization.
The land is quite finite and there are just too many of them.
Oh my, had your so-called ancestoral land been like the continents of North America or Australia, then what a prettier picture it would have been for you.
@bassammaelborno Nah - the Arabs who now claim to be Palestinians but came from other Arab countries have zero right to claim that Palestine is their rightful homeland. The Jews have more much more of a right to do so. Plenty of historians, writers, and leaders have attested to how desolate Palestine was prior to Jewish emigration. And most of its Arab population came from other Arab countires to work for the British during both world wars.
@bassammaelborno I just love how you self-proclaim to win an argument when you present zero evidence, continue to rely on statements from self-hating Jews to support your lame premises, and completely ignore the essential issues. 1) Zionism was peaceful movement until Arab aggression forced it to develop first defensive and then offensive capabilities and 2) The Talmud is largely an outmoded antiquity and is irrelevant in the daily lives of most Jews.
@JerrySPsy self hating jew? I've heard him talk about his parents who were in the holocaust, he is a proud jew. Keeping his last name is also evidence of this, someone who is ashamed or hates their Jewishness would clearly have shown attempts to hide it.
@DjKahle He manifest hatred for his own religion in other ways & hides behind the fact that his family was in the holocaust. Just as Mecca is hold to the Muslims so is Israel holy to Jews & for him to vilify it the way he does is shameful. He picks up on the action at the point where the Jews turned back all attempts to wipe them out and puts measures in place to safeguard their citizenry and he has the nerve to fault them for that!? The Arabs were the ones who started ethnic cleansing.
@JerrySPsy Hides behind it how? You can't explain how he is self hating yet is proud of his family history and heritage you're just grasping at straws and it's rather pathetic.
Zionism is the most flawed philosophy on the planet. It's equivalent to the millions of Chinese Muslims suddenly having such an intense craving to inhabit mecca that they start multiple wars, hotel bombings, issuing propaganda spanning the entire world, all the while claiming it is their homeland.
@DjKahle He hides behind it in a self-righteous way to play the victim and then claims that because of the Holocaust he was moved to champion the right of the downtrodden - such as the oppressed Palestinians. The essential flaw to that, and your skewed view of Zionism, is that Zionists came in peace & bought land or settled in open unarable areas and were victims of murders massacres, wars, etc. Tiny Israel was supposed to be a haven for Jews to escape genocide & persecution.
@DjKahle The Jews did not start ANY of the wars and your lies and deceit are becoming transparent - as is your agenda. Hotel bombing? Oh you mean the King David? The hotel was warned that a wing was targeted - and why? Because the British broke into the Jewish Agency and stole all of their top secret documents to deal with the threat of Arab massacres of Jews & these documents had to be retrieved or destroyed. You reap what you sow. Political lobbying is not propaganda.
@bassammaelborno Any attitudes toward gentiles, codes of sexual conduct, marriage, etc. were reflective of that time and while some seem rather laughable today that apparently had their place & reasoning back them. Even the Bible had contradictions and inconsistencies and no religious text is perfect and truly only one, at best, can have everything right since no two religions agree with one another. I think you should be more worried about Sharia law coming to a town near you!
@JerrySPsy Palestine was desolate, therefore jews have more right to it because...?
it was called Palestine, not israel. It never belonged to "jews", not even 2000 years ago. A mixed blooded arab from Afghanistan has more rights to that land than than any of you. You're all just a mix of euro/russian/usa jews who have more right to parts ukraine than anywhere remotely near the middle east. For you to say that shows how diluted your mind is about your own racial identity.
@DjKahle It hardly matters what it was called - Jews had been living there for generations too. Those that lived there 2,000 years were scattered to Europe or other areas after conquest. Their progeny wanted to return as it is the Holy Land of the Jews. Again, the bought land or settled in areas that no one else wanted, then the international community granted them pieces of it but the Arabs had to have it all - even though they own 99.9% of the Middle East lands.
@DjKahle As proof of my assertions you can look up records of land purchases by Jews by Googling Naftalie Greenwood. Google Shaw Commission & Peel Commission for for investigative reports of the British on who started the violence & why.Read the Academy of Sciences DNA reports linking Jews to their M.E. origins. Look at Holy Land religious artifacts from thousands of years ago showing Jewish symbols & Hebrew writing. Start doing some real research to present valid arguments & not your pure BS.
@DjKahle great post! logic and truth! the funny thing is,even if all was put aside... does the findings of the International Courts,International Law,160 countries, Amnesty international and many other respected and recognized human rights groups and from israel at that! The U.N has shown the facts ex presidents have spoken against the occupation! and of course they ll claim no race because they have nothing left to use as a lie! 10% semetic 90% euor, russia, and where ever els they came from!
@32116181 White people of any religion or philosophy saying they evolved from the desert is just ludicrous. It's akin to Europeans whether, jew, christian, muslim or atheist thinking they in fact descended from North/South America, therefore justifying the mass killings of millions of indigenous people in that area. We can't fix mistakes of the past but we should go out of our way to make sure we don't repeat the same mistakes a leave even more racial tension for future generations.
@DjKahle Edit: instead of evolved, i meant to say claim ownership of the desert is ludicrous since by crazy zionist logic, even the cradle of civilization theory would entitle everyone to the whole Mesopotamian area as our ancestral homeland homeland. The idea is stupid. Modern day people and countries have a responsibility to behave in a respectable manner.
@wolffi2341 You are a sick and individual. Cowards like you try to divert attention away from issues because you simply cannot respond intelligently.
Indeed he is an atheist, and to his credit, as it requires far greater gumption to shed one's religious indoctrination. He was born a Jew and was raised as such. His present personal religious position has never had any bearing on his stance against the conduct of Zionist Israel. He has never challenged Judaism per se.
@bassammaelborno Perhaps Finklestein is well-informed but he clearly uses his sources as "confirmation bias" wherein you seek out arguments and supposed facts to confirm your position. In his case, what you call righteousness I call self-righteousness since he wants to come across as a champion for the rights of the downtrodden without recognizing that he is blaming the victor (his own people!) and faulting them for taking the steps that have proved necessary for their survival.
@bassammaelborno "Exposed Zionist?" Duh I am a proud Zionist and one who is perfectly capable of defending my statements. You offer no meaningful refutation and it is you who is irrelevant here. I can give you PLENTY of examples of how Finklestein presents one-sided and false arguments in his demonization of Israel. And you Jew haters just love him for doing that - that is quite clear. Most Jews are Zionists who care about Israel a lot - just like Muslims care about Mecca.
@JerrySPsy Do try something a little more novel, rather than the tiresome cliche' of 'anti-semite'. You Zionists appear to be running out of cards to play. But wait, how about this one for a fresh approach; 'you're a self-hating jew' or better yet 'you're a holocaust denier' or even better yet 'you're a nazi supporter' or maybe even 'you're a bigot' and on, and on, and on ?! A truly pathetic bunch.
@bassammaelborno It may not be novel but if it smells like shit, tastes like shit, and squishes like shit when you step on it - IT IS SHIT. And you have clearly revealed yourself to be an anti-semite. If you think all those monikers you mentioned are predictable how about the routine of misquoting the Talmud, claiming all Jews are Khazars, saying the Protocols are true, calling Israel apartheid, and of course using the blood of gentile children to make matzoh. YAWN
@bassammaelborno Christian writer, J. Buxtorf, in the preface to his Lexicon Chald. et Talmudicum: "The Talmud contains many legal, medical, physical, ethical, political, astronomical, & other excellent documents of sciences, which admirably commend the history of that nation & time; it contains also luminous decisions of antiquity; excellent sayings; deep thoughts, full of grace & sense; & numerous expressions which make the reader not only better, but also more wise & learned"
Although as you claim, "most Jews have never even seen a Talmud, much less opened one up", I on the other hand know it front to back, long before it was conveniently expurgated for public eyes to behold, whether in 'doctored' print or online.
It contains what it does, and no amount of denial, lies, cosmetic manipulation or even repudiation will change what is.
@bassammaelborno Oh bullshit! All you know are the passages that you have read about that you think will portray Jews as hateful, arrogant, deviant, bloodthirsty, etc. There isn't a single such passage that cannot be explained and seen for what it truly meant and not a single amount of distortion, mistranslation, contextual issue can change that.
@bassammaelborno Who the fuck are you to proclaim that I have lost my relevance?! Citing a 2,000 year old book as if its contents has any bearing on any current day Jews is what is irrelevant! For over 100 years all we have heard is how the Jews will be wiped out of the Holy Land and later how Israel will be eliminated. And yet somehow it wins all its wars and becomes stronger every day. So think what you will. Your wish of doom for the Jewish state says it all about you.
I'm the fucker who tells it like it is, and in your Zionist face no less.
You know damn well that a Jewish-only Israel will never survive. What are your plans for the millions of inhabitants who are indigenuous to the land, and who aren't Jewish ? They are not about to go anywhere, no matter what your Zionist nefarious intentions are.
What, another Holocaust ?
Not likely in this day and age.
It's only a matter of time, before your religiocentric state is doomed.
@bassammaelborno You keep calling me Zionist as if it is a slur but I take it as the highest compliment. Of course Israel will survive and flourish - it has among the most powerful military in the world & more than adequate deterrents. Most of those whom you claim are indigenous inhabitants were in fact immigrants from other Arab countries. The population in Palestine was quite sparse when Zionists first started arriving. Those who want to live in peace are welcomed in Israel.
It was the "the highest compliment" to a Nazi, to be identified as one, but a slur and much more, to those who suffered atrocities at their hands.
All the military might in the world will not keep your nation from succumbing, as others have throughout history, to it's own internal debased practices.'
Not a one-state, two-state, or three or four-state solution, nor any apartheid state system will ever work. Israel's enemy is from within, namely Zionism.
@bassammaelborno How ludicrous to compare Zionist to Nazis. You will stop at nothing will you. Ah there is the propensity I mentioned earlier to try and find actual Jews who will speak out against Zionism. Fink-el-stein is hardly a credible source as he has repeatedly shown through his distortions. The lame apartheid has been debunked with solid evidence to the contrary. "Debased practices? Hardly!
@bassammaelborno Again with the moronic Nazism comparison! The Nazis had to be stopped because they sought world domination and yet Israel is happy with 1/10th of 1% of the land that the Arabs possess. The Nazis practiced genocide against an innocent civilian population whose only crime was that they were Jewish. The Arabs tried the same thing to the Jews but were defeated - and now you actually want to blame them for surviving and emerging victorious?
@JerrySPsy "You Jew haters" ?! Dare I ask, who are the real haters ? From the Talmud/Torah; { Even the Best of the Goyim Should Be Killed } Soferim 15, Rule 10 { Kill the Goyim By Any Means Possible } Choshen Ha'mishpat 425:50 { Everyone who sheds the blood of the Goyim is as acceptable to God, as he who offers a sacrifice to God } Yalkut 245c { Do Not Save a Goyim in Danger of Death } Hilkkoth Akum X1 { Show No Mercy to the Goyim } Hilkkoth Akum X1
@bassammaelborno The are sites on the net that fully explain all of those statements and show how they were taken out of context, mistranslated, distorted, misunderstood within the context of that period of time, and used for inciting hatred toward the Jews. I was very predictible for you to stoop to that level without proper research or knowing what the hell you were talking about. I see you do a lot of research to feed your habit of villifying Jews. LOL
Yeah, yeah, yeah, these Talmud quotes are "taken out of context", "mistranslated", "distorted", "misunderstood", and are "used for inciting hatred", etc. etc.
I don't need to villify Jews, you all do a fine job of it all on your own.
Show some self-respect and simply acknowledge the truth of what was written.
Thereafter, I would be inclined to offer you my utmost respect.
Noble Jews reject Zionism, as well as the vile passages in the Talmud. They do not confuse their religious faith with ideological political doctrine, nor do they deny the existence of any of the nonsense in the Talmud, rather they shun it openly.
@bassammaelborno Nah - noble Jews do not reject Zionism - they embrace it. Jewish prayers for 2,000 express the longing to return to Zion and there is nothing evil about Zionism whatsoever. It is rooted in religion but if there is a political spin it was to lobby for acceptance. (God helps those who help themselves). No Jews shun the Talmud because the see the wisdom in it and know what the passages mean that you are so quick to spin to suit your own purposes.
@bassammaelborno It is you who is off base. There are some rabbis and fringe sects of Judaism that have put a spin on interpretation of scripture such that if they (AND YOU) had their way, Jews would never have access to their Holy Land and would be subjected to the same oppression, expulsion, persecution, and genocide that has plagued them throughout the milennia. Its founders were not all atheists and not all as atheistic as you might think. "Surreptitious acquisition." HUH?
@bassammaelborno Your ramblings are like a page out of "Anti-semitism for Dummies" & so predictable. I love how your kind seek out the few Jews who further your agenda. I can parade out names of Arabs who praise Zionism if you want to play that game. I can also quote Arabs who will confirm that the Arabs started all the violence toward the Jews & all the wars.
Allow me to break it down for your feeble mind. There would be no issue with Zionism if the influx of Jews had resulted in the kind of peace, prosperity, & mutual respect that might have been possible if the Arabs had not tried to eliminate the Jews. That is to address your criticism of Zionism. Your other separate issue of the Talmud is what is irrelevant since this antiquity does not drive current Jewish thought, action, attitude, or anything else for that matter
@bassammaelborno The crux of the issue here is who started the violence and ethnic cleansing because if the Arabs chose to live in peace and harmony in a shared land (the way Americans welcomes it immigrants) there would be no issue with Zionism and the Palestinians would have enjoyed unimagined prosperity (as they caught a glimpse of when Jews started arriving - and this is well documented.
(ii) "The TALMUD is to this day the circulating heart's blood of the Jewish religion. Whatever laws, customs or ceremonies we observe -- whether we are Orthodox, Conservative, Reform or merely spasmodic sentimentalists -- we follow the TALMUD. It is our common law." (The Talmud; Heart's Blood of the Jewish Faith, by Herman Wouk, "which also ran serially in the New York Herald Tribune, 11/17/59")
@bassammaelborno The Talmud may form the basis for laws, customs, ceremonies but the ones that are clearly outmoded have fallen by the wayside. There is no more sacrifice in the religion and plenty of other things involving marriage, divorce, societal relationships, and so much more that is totally irrelevant in today's world. It was written within the context of a civilization that is long gone - although some of its laws are timeless.
@bassammaelborno Furthermore, most Jews have never even seen a Talmud, much less opened one up. Those that have are smart enough to know that much of it has no relevance to today's world as it was written over 2,000 years ago. But there are still laws that we use today, wisdom that is timeless. The Talmud; it is not the word of God. The Torah is.
Indeed the Talmud is not the word of God, however, it and NOT the Torah (Old Testament), is considered to be THE molding literature that determines a Jew;
(i) "...any decision regarding the Jewish religion must be based on the TALMUD as the final resume. . .. " (The JEWS - Their History, Culture, and Religion, Vol. 4, p. 1332, Jewish Publication Society of America)
@bassammaelborno . The Talmud’s over-zealous disciples were unwilling to omit a single expression of the revered ancients. But any unkind utterances toward those who oppressed Jews or sought their destruction are richly counterbalanced by the maxims of benevolence and philanthropy towards every man, regardless of creed and nationality, which are also preserved in the Talmud.
Quit trying to argue the Talmud, as I said earlier I'm extremely well versed in all three Abrahamic religions, and I take issue with some of the content in the writings, inherent in all three.
My arguments regarding the Talmud are just that. It is what it is, and cannot be denied or glossed over. I would be more than happy to share some very unacceptable passages in the Old and New Testament, as well as in the Koran.
@bassammaelborno I don't give a damn about your supposed linguistic capabilities. The fact remains is that you take certain passages from a very highly regarded book (although painfully outmoded in much of its dealings) to distort their original meaning and intention. You do so because you want to discredit the Jewish religion, villify Jews, and clearly have zero interest in whether any of them live or die - and that sir - makes you a Jew hater and and an anti-semite. Be real.
@bassammaelborno It is certain that many of those who thus assumed to pass a condemning judgment upon the gigantic work of the Talmud never read nor were able to read a single page of the same in the original, but were prompted by religious prejudice and antagonism, or they based their verdict merely on those disconnected and often distorted passages which Eisenmenger and his con-sorts and followers picked out from the Talmud for hostile purposes. (Can't find the author of this)
@bassammaelborno I have plenty of self-respect thank you very much. And you should show some ability to debate issues & offer meaningful refutation instead of relying on ad hominem attacks & acting all arrogant. But I applaud your running off. It was foolish to resurrect a 2,000 yr old book so when you get more recent material please be sure to let me know. Also, try looking at what the Arabs did to force Zionists to defend themselves and ensure a safe country for its citizens.
@JerrySPsy Keep using blanket statements to slander all arabs, nothing justifies zionist colonial conquest. If zionists knew enough to look in the mirror and realize it's scientifically impossible to decend from dark skinned people regardless of what they want to believe or what their favorite book tells them. There would never have been any issue, so keep defending a mistake your ancestors made, it's just getting rather pathetic, your own people are telling the truth 4 your own good.
@DjKahle Just how did I slander all Arabs. I state nothing that is not 100% factual about what they & their leaders have attempted & done. You on the other hand are a bold-faced liar. "Zionist colonial conquest?" Who started the violence? If Israel was into colonial conquest why would they give back, Gaza, the Sinai, S. Lebanon, & retreat from conquering numerous other cities during wars - namely Cairo and Damascus? DNA evidence does not lie. What mistake?! Wanting to leave in peace?
@JerrySPsy Your people started it when a bunch of white people suddenly believed enough of their own bullshit they decided to go and infest their "homeland" according to their 2000 year old scripture.
Israel and zionism are genetic falsehoods. There is no evidence to prove any white skinned person's homeland is anywhere in the middle east.
You feel the pressure of the international community, so you religious nutjobs have to give land back, then act like you weren't con-questing.
@DjKahle Jews were already living in the Holy Land and more came to join them. The Ottoman Empire was defeated and the Brits with the League of Nations voted to allow Jews to have a piece of the country. But Arabs wanted it all and started all the ethnic cleansing. There is plenty of solid DNA evidence linking Jews throughout the diaspora to their ancient ancestors in the Middle East. You deny all that research to delegitimize the Jewish claim to their historic homeland. Nice try.
@DjKahle In some circumstances there was pressure from the international community to avoid capturing land or cities in wars of to give back land. Sometimes land was given back to advance the peace process or as a gesture of good will. Funny how the world never steps in to stop Arab countries from ganging up on tiny Israel in an attempt to wipe it out but the minute the Jews start countering the threats & winning then comes the talk of ceasefire, stopping the advance & giving back land.
Well you know JerrySPsy, the arguement could be made that the Nazis needed to "take the steps that proved necessary for their survival" as well, in order to be "victors" ?!
@bassammaelborno Oh yeah right - the Jews were a real threat to Hitler. Were the Nazi's being oppressed or persecuted by the Jews? Hardly dude. Did Hitler outline his final solution in Mein Kampf and scapegoat the Jews through his widespread propaganda ministry?
"Palestinians face systematic discrimination merely because of their race, ethnicity, and national origin, depriving them of electricity, water, schools, and access to roads, while nearby Jewish settlers enjoy all of these state-provided benefits. While Israeli settlements flourish, Palestinians under Israeli control are forced to live in a time warp - not just separate, not just unequal, but even pushed off their lands and out of their homes."
@MrLamalo1 When did I ask you to support Jihad? Why are you drifting off topic.
"There are literate scholars and there are politicians with hidden agendas. Both names suggest another smooth fusion that can`t be trusted." So who are your trusted, truthful sources, dare I ask?
I take it you're not going to watch that documentary and you want to carry on with this debate with the knowledge you already posses, right? Then I'm sorry I couldn't help.
UN chief auditor issued strong condemnation of Secretary General Ki-moon (Washington Post).
Inga-Britt Ahlenius, (UN Internal Oversight Services chief), wrote that Ban prevented efforts to root out corruption & hiring staff. 'Your actions (Ban Ki-Moon) are not only deplorable, but seriously reprehensible. ... Your action is without precedent & seriously embarrassing for yourself,' Ahlenius said. 'I regret to say that the UN is in a process of decay.'
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is opposed to lifting the naval blockade of the Gaza Strip because this would bolster Hamas, according to what he told United States President Barack Obama during their meeting at the White House Wednesday. EGYPT also supports this position.
@MrLamalo1 Your argument isn't superior, unless you think you're more literate than Noam Chomsky and Norman Finkelstein. And I did answer your question by telling you to watch the programme by John Pilger. The answers to your questions in that documentary come from Jews themselves. It's better that way. Whatever I tell you, you can say I'm biased, but you can't say "biased" when the answers come from a Jew, can you? It's an eye opener. Watch it please, then respond.
A Jewish scholar with an opposite perspective at your service
-"The Dhimmi Jews & Christians Under Islam" ('85)
-"The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam" ('96)
- "Islam & Dhimmitude: Where Civilizations collide" ('10)
-3 excellent books by Bat Ye'or (Fairleigh Dickinson Univ Press)
-A pioneering scholar of the dhimma. Full with primary source docs bringing harsh realities of dhimmitude home & give the lie to Islamic apologists & whitewashers who try to explain it away
-"A View from The Eye of The Storm" by prof Haim Harari
An Israeli Jew who presided over the Weisman Institute (Israel's equivalent to M.I.T). One of Israel's top notch scientists. Not as scholarly as Chomsky & Finkelstein... but oh well, what can can one do?...
-At any rate, his breathtaking, richly documented & studious expose of the Israeli Palestinians conflict is indeed breathtaking & totally contrarian to Chomsky & Finkelstein
The answers to your questions come from Jews. It's better that way. Whatever I tell you, you can say I'm biased, but you can't say "biased" when the answers come from a Jew, can you? It's an eye opener. Watch it please, then respond"(samcan)

The fiercely brilliant and brave British author Melanie Phillips comments on the woefully under-reported butchering of Christians in Nigeria. The persecution of Christians in Africa–especially under Muslim regimes–isn’t new, sadly, but the latest attacks on three primarily Christian villages left some 500 dead, most from machete-wielding assailants.
The fact that the jihad in Africa is widely ignored in the west is not just a moral dereliction of duty. It is a refusal by the west to understand what it is actually up against.
What is happening to Nigeria’s Christians makes a mockery of the frenzied western obsession with Israel. To understand the real cause of global tumult we should look carefully at Africa, and the appalling suffering of those upholding the religion that underpins the western world.
@MrLamalo1 If they weren't left with that as their only option, then they wouldn't have to do that, would they? I can't be bothered arguing with you. There's already a documentary made for all you can say and the answers are given by Israeli Jews, so you can't say it's biased. I recommend you go watch it. It's by John Pilger and called "Palestine," "Israel..." something. I'm sure you can find it. The question you asked me is answered in that documentary by a Jew himself that lost a child.
-Reuters News Making Agency self admittedly doctored & fabricated "damning" photos of Israeli bombings in Lebanon
-Reuters News Making Agency admits Cropping Photos of Ship Clash.
-The morally corrupt British-based Reuters News Making Agency has been stung for the second time by charges that it edited politically sensitive photos in a way that casts Israel in a bad light.
-Selective sympathy & self serving morality... who knew?...
fuck all debates!!!! you can't claim the ownership of a land based on a book that says the earth is flat and it doesn't move!!!! fuck all motherfuckers that kiss israel's stinky ass!!!
Israel has developed an elaborate system of racial discrimination, embedded in its legal system, exceeding Apartheid South Africa's laws. These laws include the Law of Entry, the Law of Return, the Citizenship Law, the Military Service Law, the Law of Acquisition of Absentee Property, the Law for Acquisition of Land, and a host of legally sanctioned, discriminatory rabbinical rulings.
Mr. Finkelstein is ignoring the fact that the only countries that ruled these regions until 1967 were Egypt and Jordan. Both, Egypt and Jordan, have signed a peace treaty with Israel, in which they gave up on this territories. As such, the rule of Israel in what some anti-smiths and auto-anti-Semites call "occupied territories" is legitimate.
The extreme leftists are supported financially by foreign countries (for example through an organization called "The New Israeli Fund"), otherwise they would be vanished from the political area a long time ago. Unfortunately, Israel is more democratic than a lot of countries that consider themselves as democracies, and let these disgraceful acts to take place on its soil.
Unfortunately, one of the participants is an extreme leftist, and as such his political views are directed by mental reasons
Some "facts" mentioned in the video are not correct: For example, only the extreme leftists consider the defending acts of Israel as Apartheid. But, the number of the extreme leftists in Israel is negligible, so as the seats they occupy in the Israeli parliament. Ha'harets is the journal of the extreme leftists. To prove it we can point on the negligible copies of this paper. The extreme leftists are considered in Israel as a bunch of lunatics, and nobody takes their opinion seriously.
When an Arab is double checked in an airport, it is not Apartheid, but a legitimate act of defense against the Arab barbarism, which have the copyright on terrorism against civilian aviation, road passengers, and civilian. Against the barbarism there is no way rather than taking precautions. And if precautions are compared to Apartheid, I would say there is a malicious intension behind it.
We need Finklestein. They have not yet been able to keep him down. In this debate, this McGill tool is absolutely out of focus and control. How do these people end up where they are at?
Troy is just another breathless pro Zionist mouthpiece, mouthing his memorized bullcrap. They are all the same, Dershowitz, Troy, Irwin Cotler, etc. Watch them all as they drag the West into a monsterous WWIII for Israel. See the narcissistic, psychopathy in that. They are all HUGE deceivers. Don't be fooled.
When Troy starts talking about the impoverishment of the Palastinian political culture is where his true colors shine through. It's a statement that no serious person can disagree with but is subtly utilized to give legitimacy to something quite different -- namely to distract and mask the responsibility to be critical about the actions of Israel.
Dr Fink speaks the truth. Israeli soldiers shoot Palestinians on the little land they have left, but the western media says "they're defending themselves." Defending themselves from someone throwing stones on their own land? Are you crazy.
If I came to your country with soldiers and shot you, and then called you a terrorist; I guess I'd be right according to your theory, wouldn't I?
Dr Fink is a Jew. If you can't believe a Jew speaking about his own, who can you believe?
I can't believe NF those Goebbels spawn is taken seriously by any honest person.
Look at part 2 of 3
Indeed Ben Ami said "I would reject Camp David if I were P-nian" as NF quote him (@ 07:37 part 2) but it's half true for nitwits be cause Ben Ami add "BUT problem is Taba and Clinton parameters" see "Norman Finkelstein vs Shlomo Ben Ami - Part 3" 3:58.
Classic half true typical for NF but here even better. He said there was no attack for 3yr and then ..attack started in 5mo both from 09/2000 !
@Greywind30 What gives them the right to declare the roads Israeli only in the first place? The occupied west bank has many "Israeli only roads" how many "Palestinian only" roads in Tel Aviv? The Israeli Apartheid of the occupied territories is documented in law, print, film and condemned by the majority of English speaking/European countries and human rights orgs...who to believe, the documentary record or some revisionist Zionist propaganda merchant?
@Greywind30 You seem to be rather confused.I don't believe the allies occupied Japan or Germany with a view to colonizing them(you know, expelling the indigenous population whilst moving in their own CHOSEN people)so that point is completely irrelevant. You haven't proved that Professor Finkelstein is a liar or a moron, although you have demonstrated that you may be both.
@Rumblepish "You haven't proved that Professor Finkelstein is a liar or a moron"
Of course I did.
Did he (NF) said there are "jewish only road? Is there such thing as "jewish" only road? No.
Hence He is liar and/or moron.
Sure allies did not occupy Germany with attention to colonize it but with full attention to root out nazi by any means necessary and now Germany is one of the greatest democratic countries. Need I tell you those means exceeded anything Israel did?
@Greywind30 The Allies did not occupy conquered territories with a view to colonizing them, but the Nazis DID,by claiming that Poland and parts of Czechoslovakia were historically German and populated by German descendants and therefore the Nazis claimed that they were not forcefully stealing the land, only reclaiming what was rightfully and historically theirs...sound familiar?
@Rumblepish "only reclaiming what was rightfully and historically theirs"
Sure it's sound familiar that's whole history of humanity. In some cases it was rightful claim in some cases not.
In most case countries fought over land and settle for peace, Sometimes fair peace and sometimes not.
Sometimes people fought for more then just land but for survival and for freedom and in case of Israel vs Arab/Islam Israeli are fighting for survival while on Arab fighting for wounded pride and conquest
PRAYER FOR PALESTINE FROM A JEW: Let us help them to create something extraordinary, just as we have for ourselves-it is in our best interest to do so!Let us help them to build a home they will love with all their hearts, as we love Israel! We are both great nations...let us never forget this.Let us nurture peace with both our enemies and our friends, and recognize that they are a mirror...reflecting light unto the nations.
i cant help but wonder why the arab nations put up with it. why should america solve this problem? iran is closer to them, and they actually have a sensible president.
@Greywind30 Doctors. weather be it true or not, do not represent STATES... Therefor Collective Punishment of entire states by Western Nations are unjustified.
And why has Israel constructed roads for Israelis only? Why have they constructed a wall?
Perhaps to deter palestinians from attacking Israelis, and to stop suicide bombers...it's working, for the most part.
To compare Israel to Apartheid is intellectually dishonest. Finkelstein continues quote individuals and organizations that are blatantly biased against Israel, while ignoring Hamas and Hezbollah's agression and calls to annihilate Israel.
Two weeks ago, an already fragile humanitarian situation resulting from the mounting effects of months of shortages, saw a dramatic downturn. The fighting resumed, with an Israeli army incursion into Gaza and a RETALIATORY barrage of militant rocket fire.
The UN has already declared that there is no "humanitarian situation" in Gaza. Furthermore, Palestinians get more foreign aid than any other group worldwide.
Funny how you completely sidestep EVERTHING I said in the above post. Instead, you post some irrelevant news item from 2 1/2 years ago...WHATEVER, lol.
What are you babbling about? Can you even understand what I have written in my posts?
The land belongs to Israel - if the pals want to share it, they'd better stop the rockets, mortars and suicide bombings, and recognize it as a legitimate PEACE partner. But they won't. They don't negotiate.
What are you babbling about? Can you even understand what I have written in my posts?
The land belongs to Israel - if the pals want to share it, they'd better stop the rockets, mortars and suicide bombings, and recognize it as a legitimate PEACE partner. But they won't. They don't negotiate.
You get your facts straight - Hezbollah has been attacking Israel and calling for its destruction on a regular basis. They assassinated Rafik Hariri, and they are Syria and Iran's BITCH, and the Lebanese are finally standing up to those THUGS.
Hezbollah and Hamas ROUTINELY use civilians as human shields. Israel warns of military operations via pamphlets and telephone calls.
Go back to your video games, little boy - you're still wet behind the ears.
@boskinator Aggression aside, the main concern is allowing Palestinians to live a free life, and recognizing their right to a state. Israel demands this right but will not concede on it for the other side. Comparing Israeli policy to apartheid is apt, not because of walls or roads, but even from rhetoric from Israeli politicians, and from their protection of extremist illegal settlers (who indisputably are there, and who indisputably vow to kill or push the Palestinians out).
You're putting the horse before the cart. The onus is on the palestinians to demonstrate that they can peacefully co-habitate with Israel. Since 1948, the have done nothing but the extreme opposite: attacking, killing and calling for the destruction of Israel. Their song remains the same, and until it changes, Israel will not negotiate.
Israel's extremists are the vast minority. The majority of Israelis want peace and security; the majority of palestinians want the Jews GONE.
@boskinator the onus is on the people who pushed and killed their way into Palestine in the early 20th century, not the other way around. Almost a Million Palestinians were ethnically cleansed by Zionist forces, most before any Arab army stepped foot into battle in 1947. Constant settlements and bulldozing of houses, confiscation of resources and cultural degradation has forced Palestinians to violence as an ONLY option. Look! the Palestinians want a UN PEACEFUL vote and Israel says no! WHAT?!
"...a million palestinians were ethnically cleansed..." - SOURCE PLEASE.
Palestinians want to unilaterally declare statehood at the UN - hardly peaceful.
You forgot to mention the 800k Jews who were kicked out of Arab states when Israel was created. I wonder why? Oh yeah, it's because Israel absorbed them ALL. Why haven't the nations that occupy 99.99% of the middle east have not taken in their palestinian "brothers"?
@boskinator "His 1987 book, The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem, chronicled the Zionist murders, terrorism, and ethnic cleansing that drove 600,000-750,000 Palestinians from their homes in 1948, thus refuting the myth that they fled under the orders of Arab leaders. A second edition of this book is due out this month, chronicling even more massacres, and a previously unsuspected number of rapes and murders of Palestinian women"

Oh my, had your so-called ancestoral land been like the continents of North America or Australia, then what a prettier picture it would have been for you.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Nah - the Arabs who now claim to be Palestinians but came from other Arab countries have zero right to claim that Palestine is their rightful homeland. The Jews have more much more of a right to do so. Plenty of historians, writers, and leaders have attested to how desolate Palestine was prior to Jewish emigration. And most of its Arab population came from other Arab countires to work for the British during both world wars.

Yeah, I guess you got your sound information from that debunked book "From Time Immemorial" by that proven fraudulent author Joan Peters ?!

DjKahle 1 week ago

DjKahle 1 week ago
@DjKahle He hides behind it in a self-righteous way to play the victim and then claims that because of the Holocaust he was moved to champion the right of the downtrodden - such as the oppressed Palestinians. The essential flaw to that, and your skewed view of Zionism, is that Zionists came in peace & bought land or settled in open unarable areas and were victims of murders massacres, wars, etc. Tiny Israel was supposed to be a haven for Jews to escape genocide & persecution.
JerrySPsy 1 week ago

DjKahle 1 week ago
@DjKahle It hardly matters what it was called - Jews had been living there for generations too. Those that lived there 2,000 years were scattered to Europe or other areas after conquest. Their progeny wanted to return as it is the Holy Land of the Jews. Again, the bought land or settled in areas that no one else wanted, then the international community granted them pieces of it but the Arabs had to have it all - even though they own 99.9% of the Middle East lands.
JerrySPsy 1 week ago
@DjKahle As proof of my assertions you can look up records of land purchases by Jews by Googling Naftalie Greenwood. Google Shaw Commission & Peel Commission for for investigative reports of the British on who started the violence & why.Read the Academy of Sciences DNA reports linking Jews to their M.E. origins. Look at Holy Land religious artifacts from thousands of years ago showing Jewish symbols & Hebrew writing. Start doing some real research to present valid arguments & not your pure BS.

JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
I'm sorry.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Oh bullshit! JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
Why don't you go back to your bigoted rant about Arab this and Arab that.
You might be better able to cultivate some support at least, from among like-minded Zionists.
Otherwise regarding Judaism and Zionism as I said, "You Lost Your Relevance".
Now run off and play in your Israeli sandbox, while you still have it.
To your chagrin, you will never be able to rid yourselves of the Palestinians, who are in the millions now.

bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Who the fuck are you to proclaim that I have lost my relevance?! Citing a 2,000 year old book as if its contents has any bearing on any current day Jews is what is irrelevant! For over 100 years all we have heard is how the Jews will be wiped out of the Holy Land and later how Israel will be eliminated. And yet somehow it wins all its wars and becomes stronger every day. So think what you will. Your wish of doom for the Jewish state says it all about you.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
I'm the fucker who tells it like it is, and in your Zionist face no less.

What, another Holocaust ?
Not likely in this day and age.
It's only a matter of time, before your religiocentric state is doomed.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno You keep calling me Zionist as if it is a slur but I take it as the highest compliment. Of course Israel will survive and flourish - it has among the most powerful military in the world & more than adequate deterrents. Most of those whom you claim are indigenous inhabitants were in fact immigrants from other Arab countries. The population in Palestine was quite sparse when Zionists first started arriving. Those who want to live in peace are welcomed in Israel.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
Israel's enemy is from within, namely Zionism.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno How ludicrous to compare Zionist to Nazis. You will stop at nothing will you. Ah there is the propensity I mentioned earlier to try and find actual Jews who will speak out against Zionism. JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
Zionism made Israel, and it will be Zionist aspirations that will break Israel in the end.

bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Again with the moronic Nazism comparison! The Nazis had to be stopped because they sought world domination and yet Israel is happy with 1/10th of 1% of the land that the Arabs possess. The Arabs tried the same thing to the Jews but were defeated - and now you actually want to blame them for surviving and emerging victorious?

Noble Jews reject Zionism, as well as the vile passages in the Talmud. They do not confuse their religious faith with ideological political doctrine, nor do they deny the existence of any of the nonsense in the Talmud, rather they shun it openly.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Nah - noble Jews do not reject Zionism - they embrace it. Jewish prayers for 2,000 express the longing to return to Zion and there is nothing evil about Zionism whatsoever. It is rooted in religion but if there is a political spin it was to lobby for acceptance. (God helps those who help themselves). No Jews shun the Talmud because the see the wisdom in it and know what the passages mean that you are so quick to spin to suit your own purposes.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
You're so off base on this one. I know many noble devout Jews, including for that matter, two orthodox Rabbis. They all reject Zionism outright.
Zionism was never "rooted" in Judaism. In fact, virtually all of those who founded it were self-professed communists and atheists.
I would argue, that if there was a "political spin" to Zionism, it was the surreptitious acquisition of the Judaic Faith.
Where do you get your information from, 'Zionism For Dummies' ?!
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno It is you who is off base. There are some rabbis and fringe sects of Judaism that have put a spin on interpretation of scripture such that if they (AND YOU) had their way, Jews would never have access to their Holy Land and would be subjected to the same oppression, expulsion, persecution, and genocide that has plagued them throughout the milennia. Its founders were not all atheists and not all as atheistic as you might think. "Surreptitious acquisition." HUH?
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Your ramblings are like a page out of "Anti-semitism for Dummies" & so predictable. I love how your kind seek out the few Jews who further your agenda. JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
What, are we unable to deal with the truth ?!
We start on Arab this and Arab that ?!
I would have had some respect for you had you at least acknowledge the prevailing facts about Zionism and those vile contents in the Talmud.
You've lost your Relevance, and for all to see.
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
Allow me to break it down for your feeble mind. There would be no issue with Zionism if the influx of Jews had resulted in the kind of peace, prosperity, & mutual respect that might have been possible if the Arabs had not tried to eliminate the Jews. That is to address your criticism of Zionism. Your other separate issue of the Talmud is what is irrelevant since this antiquity does not drive current Jewish thought, action, attitude, or anything else for that matter
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago

It is our common law." (The Talmud; Heart's Blood of the Jewish Faith, by Herman Wouk, "which also ran serially in the New York Herald Tribune, 11/17/59")
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno The Talmud may form the basis for laws, customs, ceremonies but the ones that are clearly outmoded have fallen by the wayside. There is no more sacrifice in the religion and plenty of other things involving marriage, divorce, societal relationships, and so much more that is totally irrelevant in today's world. It was written within the context of a civilization that is long gone - although some of its laws are timeless.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno Furthermore, most Jews have never even seen a Talmud, much less opened one up. Those that have are smart enough to know that much of it has no relevance to today's world as it was written over 2,000 years ago. But there are still laws that we use today, wisdom that is timeless. The Talmud; it is not the word of God. The Torah is.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
Indeed the Talmud is not the word of God, however, it and NOT the Torah (Old Testament), is considered to be THE molding literature that determines a Jew;
(i) "...any decision regarding the Jewish religion must be based on the TALMUD as the final resume. . .. " (The JEWS - Their History, Culture, and Religion, Vol. 4, p. 1332, Jewish Publication Society of America)
bassammaelborno 3 weeks ago
@bassammaelborno . The Talmud’s over-zealous disciples were unwilling to omit a single expression of the revered ancients. But any unkind utterances toward those who oppressed Jews or sought their destruction are richly counterbalanced by the maxims of benevolence and philanthropy towards every man, regardless of creed and nationality, which are also preserved in the Talmud.
JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
@JerrySPsy
No, I am not an anti-semite, nor a Jew-hater.

@bassammaelborno I don't give a damn about your supposed linguistic capabilities. JerrySPsy 3 weeks ago
There is plenty of solid DNA evidence linking Jews throughout the diaspora to their ancient ancestors in the Middle East. You deny all that research to delegitimize the Jewish claim to their historic homeland. Nice try.
JerrySPsy 1 week ago
@DjKahle In some circumstances there was pressure from the international community to avoid capturing land or cities in wars of to give back land. Sometimes land was given back to advance the peace process or as a gesture of good will. Funny how the world never steps in to stop Arab countries from ganging up on tiny Israel in an attempt to wipe it out but the minute the Jews start countering the threats & winning then comes the talk of ceasefire, stopping the advance & giving back land.

MrShnooksie 3 months ago
@samcan1980
Phillips argues that:
The fact that the jihad in Africa is widely ignored in the west is not just a moral dereliction of duty. It is a refusal by the west to understand what it is actually up against.
What is happening to Nigeria’s Christians makes a mockery of the frenzied western obsession with Israel. To understand the real cause of global tumult we should look carefully at Africa, and the appalling suffering of those upholding the religion that underpins the western world.

Israel is an Apartheid regime.

Unfortunately, one of the participants is an extreme leftist, and as such his political views are directed by mental reasons
SHARP8086 5 months ago

When Troy starts talking about the impoverishment of the Palastinian political culture is where his true colors shine through. Point is NF has no argument or facts so he play with words, side step issue and just lie.

Greywind30 7 months ago
@Greywind30 You seem to be rather confused.I don't believe the allies occupied Japan or Germany with a view to colonizing them(you know, expelling the indigenous population whilst moving in their own CHOSEN people)so that point is completely irrelevant. You haven't proved that Professor Finkelstein is a liar or a moron, although you have demonstrated that you may be both.

@Rumblepish "You haven't proved that Professor Finkelstein is a liar or a moron"

Greywind30 7 months ago
@Greywind30 The Allies did not occupy conquered territories with a view to colonizing them, but the Nazis DID,by claiming that Poland and parts of Czechoslovakia were historically German and populated by German descendants and therefore the Nazis claimed that they were not forcefully stealing the land, only reclaiming what was rightfully and historically theirs...sound familiar?
Rumblepish 7 months ago
@Rumblepish "only reclaiming what was rightfully and historically theirs"
Sure it's sound familiar that's whole history of humanity. In some cases it was rightful claim in some cases not.
In most case countries fought over land and settle for peace, Sometimes fair peace and sometimes not.
Sometimes people fought for more then just land but for survival and for freedom and in case of Israel vs Arab/Islam Israeli are fighting for survival while on Arab fighting for wounded pride and conquest

@boskinator Aggression aside, the main concern is allowing Palestinians to live a free life, and recognizing their right to a state. Israel demands this right but will not concede on it for the other side. Comparing Israeli policy to apartheid is apt, not because of walls or roads, but even from rhetoric from Israeli politicians, and from their protection of extremist illegal settlers (who indisputably are there, and who indisputably vow to kill or push the Palestinians out).
aminius11 5 months ago

You're putting the horse before the cart. The onus is on the palestinians to demonstrate that they can peacefully co-habitate with Israel. Since 1948, the have done nothing but the extreme opposite: attacking, killing and calling for the destruction of Israel. Their song remains the same, and until it changes, Israel will not negotiate.
Israel's extremists are the vast minority. The majority of Israelis want peace and security; the majority of palestinians want the Jews GONE.
boskinator 5 months ago
@boskinator the onus is on the people who pushed and killed their way into Palestine in the early 20th century, not the other way around. Almost a Million Palestinians were ethnically cleansed by Zionist forces, most before any Arab army stepped foot into battle in 1947. Constant settlements and bulldozing of houses, confiscation of resources and cultural degradation has forced Palestinians to violence as an ONLY option. Look! the Palestinians want a UN PEACEFUL vote and Israel says no! WHAT?!
