@0403555555 to a certain demographic, yes. songs are just songs, and while they obviously carry SOME meaning, T.I. speaking directly to the youth (i believe) carries a whole lot more --- as he seems to want the best for these kids and not to go down the same path he went down (and raps about)

to all those people bitching about how he got off easy as a celebrity should watch his larry king interview, t.i. said it best there, yes it may seem like he got a light sentence but he also got house arrest before the jail time and 5 years probation after, and the legals system felt like he would have a more positive effect on society if he continued to speak to kids like he has instead of being in jail
