Not saying this is bad, but where would have Guns N' Roses been without Axel's vocals? I like his vocals the most of the group, he had a great voice, could carry the notes well (Especially on the song Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle), and also had a distinct voice which will never be matched.

I don't think Slash is overrated. He is no Eddie Van Halen or Steve Vai, but he can top Randy Rhoads' or Zakk Wylde's solos easily. The solo's Slash has written are simple and easy to play, but his skills are way far superior than just that. Plus, he became famous in the late 80s, style was very important at the time and Slash's style was not mainstream, so he has to be respected for being unique.
