Can someone tell me what this actual song is called ? Silly I know, Ive listened to this song for so many years but I only ever had a burnt copy and never knew the propper name for it.
First of all, thanks 'crickettttt' for sharing such awesome pix of SRV & Jimmie along with this great song! It means a lot to us who still, after 20 yrs. of Stevies' death, continue to love & miss him every day. Being able to listen to this song along with these great pix helps more then you know- for us who need our SRV 'fix'. And definately lets not forget brother Jimmie, who was SRV's biggest influence & perhaps made SRV who he was. Regardless, SRV will always be with us- thru his music..
@valluvssrv Thank you for your comment. Without ´cricketttt´ I could never made this! And yes, although Stevie is gone, his music will allways be with us, he will live forever in our hearts!!!
I was reading a biography a few months back about Stevie, and stumbled on to a really cool side note about this album, and this song in particular.
They were looking for a nice hook for the end of the album, and Jimmie had the idea to have the band fire up a beat while, he and Stevie passed Jimmie's road worn 60's strat, back and forth, each ripping out instantly classic riffs. If you listen closely you can hear the strap hit the strings as Stevie passes it to Jimmie.
I watched an interview of Stevie on you tube he was saying how Jimmie used to yell at him to put his guitar down. could you imagine what a total loss it would have been if he listened to Jimmie. These brothers are awesome.
The story I heard is that when they were young they both wanted a guitar for Christmas. Their parents said they would get it, but they would have to share. If you listen closely you can hear them passing the guitar to one another. At the end they are playing th same guitar. YOU GOTTA LOVE YOUR BROTHER.

How is there an argument on here?! It's a Stevie Ray Vaughan video. Not a goddamn military video. Relax and enjoy Stevie's Texas blues.
