I disagree with the notion that that is how ALL occupy protestors are but acknowledge that at my local Occupy rallies there was definitely a socialist prescence, though there was also a libertarian prescence and a lot of us normal average working folks who would for the most part be labeled progressive. I disagree with the notion that that is how ALL occupy protestors are but acknowledge that at my local Occupy rallies there was definitely a socialist prescence, though there was also a libertarian prescence and a lot of us normal average working folks who would for the most part be labeled progressive. The movement can't be pidgeonholed, it is a bunch of people who want corporate money out of our politics so we can restore democracy to the nation.

I paid my entire way through college on my own and after two years have nearly paid it all off. Try WORKING for something rather than expecting people to just give you a free handout.

There's on overt disparity between the lower and higher classes of this country and there's reason for it. Corporations have an unfair advantage in politics. They're no asking for rich people to give them money but the thing is that this country is subsidizing some of the wealthiest companies while they literally pay nothing in taxes whilst taking austerity measures. Then a less well off person who had made poor choices and put in no effort to get money said you had to give them part of your earnings. They said it was unfair that you had more money then them. They said that even though it was THEIR FUALT they did not have as much money as you, you still needed to give them some. Now how fair does that seem?
