i dont know why people hate on fords so much... everyone that i asked why they hate fords they say they are unreliable pieces of shit and that they wuld never drive one... then i ask if they have ever driven a ford and they say no. so how can u judge if you like a ford or not if you have never owned one. i drive a 97 ford ranger and it is 10 times as reliable as my buddies 2008 ram 1500... for example i live in canada and it was minus 45 degrees celcius (-50 F) today and it started like a champ

@TYL3R35 my 2nd vehicle was a 1995 ford ranger auto 4 cyl. i put 30k miles on it in 1 year. used it as a daily commuter moved with it 3x. bought it used. not 1 single issue. i would buy another Ford truck in a heart beat...

f650 is pretty much a custom built rig, with engine options like the 5.9 cummins, 7.3 or 6.0 powerstroke, and the 7.2 cat engine.

kodiak comes from the factory with the duramax and the alison trans,

f650 is in a different weight class, much larger truck.

top end options, and 4wd conversion because f650's dont come from the factory with that option, the f650 would dominate.

if we are talking stock vs stock, the kodiak has a 4wd option and would possibly pull the larger truck.

@petthekittyz Well yea I forgot about the kodiak tranny I saw them both in a tug of war in glamis but the rope kept on snapping in half so truck owners just gave it up I think dodge should make one so their would be more competition tho

the f650 isn't very common, and its in a different weight class anyways, its a custom build that costs much more to obtain, unless doing it yourself

the kodiak has a much better engine and trans combo, and it doesn't look like it 1 ton counterpart, so it has that going for it.

@petthekittyz 550 is chassy cab only and none of the axle-to-cab lengths match up with a 350 or 450 box. you can either throw on a 350/450 bed and deal with a big gap between the cab and box, or have the box lengthened. i thought you knew your trucks?

You can buy them all day long? You can't get a Kodiak and lift it like that for 50K. Kodiaks look like shit compared to the 650/750.

You could part it together for about 50K, if you really really tried
