I am 100% Mexican. I grew up in Little Village, it's been 11 years since I lived there and it was the same bullshit back then too. I wouldn't trade growing up in Little Village for anything, but I'm sure glad that I moved out and saw that there are better and safer neighborhoods. Little Village won't get better until people from outside of the community shed some light on it...but why risk your life in a ghetto when you can hang around and enjoy life in much safer neighborhoods with no gangs?
