I used to live nextdoor to a couple members of the band Comander cody,in Oshkosh,Wisconsin. Kirchen was with them then and they used to practice in the garage,Bill had that same tele back then. They sure could jam,and drink, I'm glad to see hes still going strong.

The night I saw him, he and his band were playing with the Lustre Kings, a NY state rockabilly band. The guests didn't get much advance publicity, and Bill and his band blew me away. I need to figure out how to get videos into Youtube also. Most of mine are NY state bands, but have 1 or 2 national acts. Thanks for posting this video! Hope to see more.

I was lucky enough to see Bill Kirchen live a couple of years ago. I wish I had brought my camcorder with me. He's awesome, but somehow relatively unknown to many.
