Takenobu Mitsuyoshi was the composer of this game, and yes, it is the same guy who did "GAME OVER YEEEAH!" from SEGA Rally. He's still in the industry, performing as part of SEGA Sound Team's official band, H. and contributing to various soundtracks like Virtua Fighter 5 and Bayonetta.

He's also one of my favorite game composers ever, mostly because of this game.

LMFAO i didn't remember the music being this bad. but unfortunately at that time this was one of the few games with "real" music on them. as horrible as the music is those songs were catchy and it was nothing out of the ordinary for any of my friends to randomly breakout in "DAAAAYTONAAAA". i just wish there was video footage of the vocals being recorded for these songs. assuming the vocals weren't computer generated..those voices sound pretty real, just bad.
