Stupid scene. First, why the fuck would you need three quantum torpedoes to take out a defenseless ship with 300 year-old technology? That's like using 3 patriot missiles to take out a steam locomotive--only worse. Second, isn't it strange that Riker, La Forge and Cochran don't seem to notice those blindingly bright spheres coming towards them? Seems to be a big whole in the script that they don't notice.
