  • What a chatterbox! WAY TOO MUCH TALKING! Videos are for SHOWING NOT TELLING. Way too long for the actual exercises you demonstrate.

  • and legs,damn girl

  • wow nice upper body

  • I find the more muscular silhouette very attractive. Kind of a gymnastics athletic look. Do you eat high amounts of meat?

  • You sound like Carrie from King of Queens. Hehehe, thanks for a great video.

  • please chill with your biceps...

  • @MatrixBaller13 Uh ooh... someone's jealous?? LOL! I train bi's once a week, train back twice a week, no drugs and just genetics : ) Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, lol!

  • @MadeFitTV haha yea im jealous!!.. but i just think big biceps are not very attractive on women. I do NOT mean that to be sexist btw.. idk i guess i'm just old fashioned... just my opinion though

  • @MatrixBaller13 Not all muscle definition floats everyone's boat when it comes to women, I get it. It's funny, though, because that is just my natural body type, so not much I can do, lol!

  • @MadeFitTV Don't worry. Your arms look great.

  • @MadeFitTV floats my boat. Great arms.

  • is it weird that when i bend down my hands cant reach my feet my entire life?

  • @ssgokuliu No it's not weird... you may need to just improve on your flexibility in your lower back and hamstrings. That takes time, so work on it for 5 minutes each day and over time you will become more flexible.

  • What types of exercises would you recommend for a torn meniscus? My doc just told me to rest but i would like specific stretches to regain confidence.

  • @153Rocko LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR! Once they give you the all-clear after your rehab and rest, then you can begin with exercises that they recommend to you

  • thanks. gr8.

  • Im a 20 year old female. I fell on my knee when playing rugby a year ago. Since Ive had an xray..nothing was fractured. The doctor suggests that the pain and slight instabilty and popping noises i hear from time to time(not accompanied by pain) may be because my knee is weak as I no longer play sports anymore. Also if I hold my leg in an awkard position life sit and bend it too long it hurts after a while. Im kinda surprised the doc only requested a xray and not an mri aslo..What do you think?

  • @kiki83neo Sorry to hear that! Follow your gut and if your xray turns up nothing, then you can request an MRI. Hope you get better!

  • I dislocated my kneecap when I was 17 (I'm now 26) while doing a body combat class in the gym... I'm now doing ballet and cheerleading, and sometimes after a match/game my knee will hurt a little. Do you think that by doing these exercises I could prevent another injury like that?

    Thanks for the great video!

  • @brazilgirl19 A combination of rest, recovery, stretch, and strength are the overall recipe for strengthening your knees. If you just injured it and then went directly into being active with those sports, chances are it will keep hurting and possibly become injured if you don't take time off directly after hurting it. A good week should help, but see a dr if it does not get better

  • As a man who is looking to start slowly after problems again after meniscus surgery two years ago as well as disc spine surgery this is good. I appreciate and like this professional who explains the moves and the benefits; she is clear and has a good voice. Thanks whoever you are. Nice job and very helpful.

  • nice legs ;)

  • @esinde23 ya. 100% agreed upon dude.

  • 2yrs ago (I was 11) I strained a ligament. The doctor never told me but I reserched and I had all the syptems for a ACL injury. I'm 13, turning 14 here in a few months and stilling having problems. When I try to do a scale (cheer stunt), I twig it when I straighten my leg. My right leg is my leading leg and I hurt my ACL in my knee. So I can't do round-offs, perfect scales, and more difficult tumbling without twiging it. Any suggestions?

  • @thebobcatgirl I was a cheerleader and flyer in highschool, too! I always got injured - it's such an intense sport no matter what anyone says! I really recommend that you get it checked out first by a sports doctor or ortho doctor. That is something that in case it is serious, you can catch it now and address it before it bugs you in the future.

  • I tore a ligament in my knee while stretching a few years ago. Now when ever I walk down stairs my knee clicks. I'm pretty sure I have a scarred ligament, but is there anything I can do to strengthen that ligament?

  • @WhiteShadowSlayer Sorry to hear that :-/ It depends on where on the knee it is and HOW you injured it (like what exactly happened to it). I would recommend you get it checked out. You could have done more damage, less damage, or it could be something else now bothering you. As long as the clicking is not painful, though, I would not worry too much. But if it is causing you pain and affecting your range of motion, a doctor should take a look at it. I wish you the best!

  • @MadeFitTV

Thank you for replying. My knee doesn't hurt, but I believe it does effect how much I can bend the knee without hearing the click.

I first tore my ligament while stretching on my back and then pulling the knees at the side of the body. I'm not flexable at all, so I shouldn't have done that. That was like years ago, and I went to the doctor and they gave me a knee brace to wear for two weeks and then it didn't hurt anymore.

But yeah, things are the way they are.

  • I am 12 and have karate. We do kicks for practice and i made a mistake kicking to hard.I didn't feel pain until a few hours later. Will this help my pain heal for my age?

  • @Angelneilla You may have just hyperextended it., which is common. It should go away but if it does not after a few days, you may want to get it checked out. I wish you the best!

  • i did a lacrosse running thing, and the area RIGHT under my kneecap hurts when i do stuff like squats, lunges, etc. idk if its osgood schlatters, but will these workouts help the pain under my kneecap?

  • @PaulyProductions I would first recommend that you take some time off of any leg movements for a good week or two until the pain heels, and then slowly introduce these movements back in. If it hurt only after your run, then it should go away. If it is a more chronic and recurring problem, you may want to get it checked out. I hope it gets better soon!

  • Hey, just wondering what advice you had to a guy that's been doing taekwondo for ten years. I'm a 20 year old male and my knees seem to be giving me some trouble especially when I try to jump as high as I can for kicks. My knees and legs are of the utmost importance. I haven't had any injuries, not even minor ones, so are these exercises acceptable for my situation? Thanks.

  • @iMeezo ooh, so sorry to hear you are still having pain! Everyone's body's deal with injuries and the pain differently based on their activity, their genetics, and the types of shoes and support you have. I hope you are able to still incorporate the things you like to do into your workouts without feeling the pain. All the best to you!

  • this girl is sexy brollic

  • Hey, I'm 18 i play soccer ,and had a knee injury in my left knee, i recieved 3 cortisone shot and was told to do physical therapy, I want to know if this will help me when I run because i feel pain in my left knee sometimes when imapct.Thank you !!!

  • @diegofagundez

It sounds like rest would be the best thing for you at this point. So just do what your doctor told you to do and take it easy and over time you should be able to get your performance back up after your phys therapy. All the best to you!!

  • @diegofagundez last year i tore all four ligaments in my knee and i just did simple stretches at first and i would walk up and down stairs for about half an hour a day. this helped alot. even though its only been a year. i still feel pain when i run on cement or on the road but its alot alot alot better. and do leg raises. at the gym or what ever. like. basicly you just sit on a chair with a weight on your leg and you raise your bottom half of your leg up. and yeah.

  • Hey, I'm 16 and I started to notice that my knees are slightly bend inward... I was wondering if I performed these knee movements if they would help get rid of knock knees problem?

Because they really bug and touch each other when I walk sometimes. Or are there other ways to get rid of them?

It would be great if you could give me some advice :)

    Thanks so much! <3

  • Thanks for commenting and watching.... There is only so much you can do to modify the way your body is - genetics is responsible for the rest. But if you want to prevent your natural bone structure from creating injuries for yourself, then you need to have a full strength training and flexibility program that targets all of the legs and all ranges of motion, the glutes, hips, and core. This will keep them strong and keep you having good posture. But these moves are a good start for sure!

  • Thanks! :)

    ^^

  • Thanks a lot Jenny, i will start doing them tomorrow after my walking cardio routine. I have a bad knee because of my weight so i have to stick to low impact style cardio, hopefully in a month, i will start doing more high intensity cardio as i progress. <3

  • im 17, my lower leg is slightly out of position(bowlegs). i take part in physical activities like most people. sometimes my knees crack, sometimes even feel like its shifting, recent months, my hips started to crack too( is it due to my lack of balance?). earlier on, i tried jumping with my left leg, but perhaps due to little follow through in landing, i heard cracks in my knee, but much scarier than b4. what should i do for my knees?

  • Hey there! It sounds like you're having a lot of issues with your leg that doesn't seem to be improving. I would definitely recommend that you see an ortho doc to check out what is really going on. It could be one of many things, including overuse, an unknown injury, a pulled muscle or ligament... anything. I wish I could help, but I am just not qualified to suggest anything because I can't see your issue and am not a doctor. I wish you the best! Thanks so much for watching!

  • Hi I am a dancer/runner/athlete, frequently I have had knee pain, which has improved greatly over the past 3 months, it doesn't hurt anymore yet my knee does feel strange at times, although even a couple months ago I knew I was doing a little too much dancing. Would you know if weakness in legs, or loss of muscle in legs could effect the knees ? I'm 17 yrs of age. I hve talked to many people/trainer at school/etc. Just hoping for an experts advice :O

  • Thanks for watching and for commenting! I'm sorry to hear about your knees. Sometimes mine get sore from running too much, and I love to run : ( But, yes, weak leg muscles will lead to weak joints, and potentially injury. So, even though you are working your legs out while running and dancing, you still need to keep them strong by strengthening and isolating each muscle. It keeps them functioning and more stable during your activities. Best of luck to you - feel better!

  • @MadeFitTV Thnks, I recently started training with my legs-And haven't ran as well for those months, thnks for the advice from the video :)

  • You're welcome! Hope all goes well : ) Happy 2010 to you!

  • thank you for this vid....keep up the good work your really helpful

  • hi, im a dancer, i had been kinda slack stretching and then recently tried to stretch more.. recently my knee cap is sore to the touch and feels a bit loose. theres also kinda longish small squishy lumps on my kneecap. just wondering what the lumps are, i have a similar feeling in my elbow like a loose tendon or something :/ i dont know but hurts to press on it. also..any advice on strenthening the legs while improving flexibility? thanks :)

  • Sorry, my email is acting up and I just got this comment now! You should def see a specialist or sports doc on that asap! Make sure you stay off exercising that until you talk to your doctor because you could be doing more harm than good. It does sound like a tendon or pulled ligament of some sort, so please get it checked out. I hope you're not in too much pain! Get better!!!

  • Great podcast Jen! I had weight loss surgery about six months ago and my surgeon gave me an interesting factoid; for every pound of excess weight we carry, the weight puts 7 pounds more stress on the knees. No wonder sore knees are common with overweight people. I'm down 75 pounds so far and my knees thank me! I'm now starting to strengthen my knees through exercise.

    -Doug

  • Awesome job with the huge weightloss, Doug!! And, yes, your doctor is absolutely correct - isn't that crazy?? You would think evolution would condition out knees to be able to handle more! Glad you're feeling better and are more fit and healthy : )

  • I had my knee pop out and in out of place, and I've recently gotten a Gym-Card and Looking into a MMA-Fighting Gym. I'm 16, and My knee is still a little shakey and weak from that accident, Should I use these to strengthen it? Because I'm scared it might pop out again - Reply PLEASE.

  • PS - I have a knee brace, That I once used when it was injured to walk, and It helped quite alot, Should I use that while flexing/strengethining it?

  • Sorry for the late reply - I was in Vegas : ) As for doing MMA with a still sore knee, I would suggest you still nurse it a little longer until you feel that it's strong enough not to pop out again. That's some intense stuff, so you want to allow yourself to heal before you place all of that on it. Get better!

  • thanks for the tips.
